Kim Kardashian has purportedly fired her longtime bodyguard, Pascal Duvier.

According to the Hollywood Life, Duvier who worked for Kardashian and West for four years was fired along with other security detail because the power couple wanted to revamp their security and employ people who carried weapons. A source said it was nothing personal with the German-born bodyguard who owns a security company that caters mainly for celebrities.



“It was nothing personal. Pascal was just reassigned to another client by his parent company. He doesn’t carry a gun; Kim needed someone else to take over her security staff, to make sure all the bodyguards have gun permits.”

Another source said it was difficult decision to fire the 43-year-old burly bodyguard because he had become part of the family.

Madonna and Idris Elba kissing has sparked up rumors of a celebrity romance between the pair. The Material Girl was spotted ring side, during Elba’s debut kickboxing fight for his TV show Idris Elba: Fighter. A three-part Discovery documentary series that hinges on the 44-year-old hunk going through the rigors of becoming a professional kickboxer, something he had always seen as a challenge.

The United Nations has come under heavy criticism for appointing Wonder Woman, a comic book character, as an ambassador, BBC is reporting.

The U.N. came under fire after making Wonder Woman an Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls Friday. The decision coincided with the famous heroine's 75th birthday. According to sources, Wonder Woman, also known as Princess Diana of Thermyscria, is billed to spearhead a 12-month social media campaign to promote gender equality and women empowerment.

The decision has sparked outrage worldwide with advocates for women rights condemning the action. In an online petition of more than 1000 people including "concerned" U.N. staff members, there has been a rallying cry that the decision be reversed because the comic book character is simply unrealistic and out-of-touch with societal problems.

"A large breasted white woman of impossible proportions, scantily clad in a shimmery, thigh-baring body suit with an American flag motif and knee high boots—the epitome of a 'pin-up' girl."


Those who criticized the move slammed the U.N. for its inability to find a real woman that could champion the rights of females irrespective of creed and culture.

The divisive move is coming at a time when the U.N. has selected Portuguese Antonio Guterres as the next secretary-general after Ban Ki-Moon steps down at the end of the year. There had been a worldwide push for the organization to pick its first woman secretary-general.

However, the 71-year-old organization had rejected seven female candidates for Guterres. Anne Marie Goetz, a former adviser to the body and who was at the forefront of the campaign for a woman secretary-general, called the choice "disgusting" and called for Wonder Woman to use her "lasso of truth" to expose the hypocrisy of the United Nations.


Wonder Woman, a fictional Amazonian princess, was created by Havard-trained psychologist William Marston in 1941 and has since been arguably regarded as the most popular female super hero character in comic books. According to the U.N., this helped sway decision makers towards the princess an ambassador.

"The focus of the U.N. was on her feminist background, being the first female superhero in a world of male superheroes, and that basically she always fought for fairness, justice and peace."

Diane Nelson, president of DC Entertainment, threw her support behind the U.N. making Wonder Woman an Honorary Ambassador for the Empowerment of Women and Girls.

"Her ability to operate alone and be her own independent person but also to work right alongside with the same strength and same abilities as some of the strongest male super heroes, I think is a testament to her character and kind of ties back the U.N. designation and this idea of gender equality."


Stephane Dujarric, spokesman for the secretary-general, said it was crucial that the U.N. reach younger audiences by building creative alliances. He said using Wonder Woman as an ambassador was to breach predictable borders, adding that the campaign stemmed beyond the 600 U.N. members that had signed the petition.

He added that the U.N. continued to work with wonderful women worldwide to push different goals and objectives including Alaa Murabit of Libya, Brazilian soccer player Marta, Leymah Gbowee of Liberia and Angelina Jolie.

On Friday, Gal Gadot, star of the new Wonder Woman movie due out next year and Lynda Carter who played the Amazon princess on TV from 1975 to 1979 were at the U.N. office in New York to show their support. Many staffers in their own show of support turned their backs and raised their fists.


The online petition has urged the U.N. to reconsider the role of Wonder Woman as ambassador, pointing out that it would be happy to come up with a list of extraordinary real-life women who could perform the duties much better, adding that it was shocking that the body would be considering a sexually exploitative image as a role model for women and young girls.

"It is alarming that the United Nations would consider using a character with an overtly sexualized image at a time when the headlines news in United States and the world is the objectification of women and girls."

Lady Gaga took a swipe at Madonna during a promotion of her upcoming album Joanne on Apple Music's Beats radio, ET Online is reporting.

The 30-year-old singer was with DJ Zana Lowe Thursday to talk about the album, which is due out over the weekend, but things got awkward when the radio host likened Lady Gaga's career to that of Madonna and compared her latest single, "Perfect Illusion," to the pop icon's 1986 hit "Papa Don't Preach."

"There is another artist who has lived a parallel existence. Based on this story, which I'm sure you can relate to. You know Madonna tells a very similar story... Papa Don't Preach. You know what I mean."

The "Bad Romance" singer was not impressed that she was being compared to the Material Girl and made it known that she did not share any similarities with Madonna without mincing words.

"I wouldn't make that comparison at all. I don't mean to disrespect Madonna... she's a nice lady. And she's had a fantastic, huge career. She's the biggest pop star of all time... but I play lot of instruments. I write my own music. I spend hours and hours a day in the studio. I'm a producer. I'm a writer. What I do is different."

DJ Zana Lowe, who also said the pair both had overprotective fathers, was not unprepared for Lady Gaga's reaction and an uneasy silence had existed between him and the American Horror Story actress before she continued harping about the differences between her and the 58-year-old pop icon.

"There are major differences between me and her and I don't mean that in a disrespectful way. I just will not be compared to anyone anymore, I am who the f**k I am and this is me. The concierge who took the masked robbers to Kim Kardashian's room where she was robbed of over $11 million in jewelry has broken his silence for the first time, Daily Mail is reporting.

The Algerian man who only wished to be addressed by his first name, Abdulrahman revealed that he was on duty at the high luxury Paris apartment in early October when the jewel thieves stormed the building and demanded that he take them to Kim's room.

The father-of-one said he had pretended not to know who the reality TV star was, but was grabbed by the neck and forced to open her door with his spare key. The concierge confirmed Kim was manhandled by the men upon entry.

"I went up to the apartment with the robbers. I was tied up with handcuffs. I was in the room of Kim Karadashian. One was attacking her…the second one was with me. I saw Kim being pulled out of bed."

Abdulrahman said he pleaded with the robber who yanked Kim roughly out of her bed not to hurt her and was forced to serve as an interpreter to calm the screaming Kardashian.

"I told him, 'I ask you, don't hurt her, He told me 'don't worry, we are here for money…keep calm and all will be OK. Don't move or make a sound.'''

Abdulrahman who is planning on suing the management said he had been complaining about the shocking security lapses at the Hôtel de Pourtalès for six years and warned that guests were at serious risk of being harmed, but his bosses never took him seriously.

The 39-year-old man who revealed that he was more of a security man rather than a concierge said the security access codes to the front door of the hotel had not changed in years and everyone knew it.

"I told them years ago that we needed better security…they didn't care…the code of the door was never changed and everybody knew what it was."

An investigation by the Daily Mail confirmed that the access codes were still the same, weeks after the robbery. A correspondent for the media outlet used the code that had not been changed in six years to enter the building and reached the reception area unchallenged.

An infuriated Abdulrahman also said there had been no CCTV cameras at the hotel since 2010, adding that for as long as he could remember, there was always only a solitary guard on duty. In an even more incredible disclosure, the North African man said Kim Kardashian's apartment was accessed by a wooden door with a Yale lock with no bolt on the inside to guard against interlopers.

Police sources said the management of the hotel had deliberately not installed surveillance cameras because they wanted to protect the privacy of their wealthy and influential clients who might not want to be caught on camera with certain types of people.

The North Algerian man recalled that the masked men had conned themselves into the hotel around 2:35 a.m. He said he saw three men dressed in police uniform at the glass entrance of the building motioning to him to open the door, which he did. Abdulrahman said he thought the police were called in for an emergency, but when they asked for the security video, he knew it was a robbery.

A female rapper, Azealia Banks is accusing Oscar-winning actor Russell Crowe of assault, E! Online is reporting.

The New York rapper filed a police report alleging that Russell Crowe "called me a n****r, choked me, threw me and spat at me." The purported incident occurred at a Beverly Hills hotel on Sunday. Banks filed the report with the Beverly Hills Police Department after demanding an apology from the Australian star, which he did not give.

However, multiple eyewitness accounts tell a different story, saying Banks scoffed at Crowe's music choice and called attendees at the party "boring white men." A woman who had tried to defend the Gladiator star had also been threatened by the Harlem rapper, who is known for her fiery temper.

"You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino s—t."

Banks, who allegedly also hurled racial insults at guests, was said to have brandished her wine glass menacingly as she issued her threats.

It was at this point that Crowe purportedly grabbed Banks in a bear hug and carried her out of his suite and told security to remove her from the hotel. Reports say that Azealia Banks was the guest of RZA, a rapper and film producer who had cast Crowe in a movie called The Man With the Iron Fists. The 52-year-old actor had invited 10 guests over for a dinner party.

Banks had only recently signed to RZA's record label. Four guests, including RZA, gave statements confirming the 25-year-old as "erratic" and saying that it was her who used the N-word and not the Aussie actor.

The "212" rapper left two other statuses on Facebook, where she revealed she was depressed over the ordeal and that "I wish I had someone to beat him up for me."

A legal representative for the hip hop artist said Monday that Banks would still address the issue in the coming days and back up her account with adequate proof. Russell Crowe continues to keep quiet over the allegations of physical assault.

Thomas Gibson appeared in his final episode of Criminal Minds on Wednesday in a way that has surprised viewers, ET Online is reporting.

The 54-year-old actor was barely seen in his last appearance on the CBS drama, with the episode preferring to focus strongly on Jennifer “J.J” Jareau (A.J. Cook). A.J. Cook’s character is particularly disturbed with the latest psychopath in the series, who has a penchant for burning up his young victims.

Thomas Gibson’s sparse dialogue after being fired from the show is apparent, with him asking for some information from Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness). Gibson’s Aaron Hotchner, who was in his 12th season on the show before his untimely exit, is seen giving Jennifer crucial advice about taking a breather away from work after being traumatized by the killer’s brutal methods.

“I want you to take some time off; at least a week… it’s not a request,” he said.

Thomas Gibson then walks away without much fanfare.

That was his last line on Criminal Minds.

The episode ends with A.J. Cook’s character delivering a quote from Saint Teresa.

A video has emerged showing a grey Fiat 500 tailing Kim Kardashian as she left a Givenchy fashion house just hours before she was robbed of over $11 million in jewelry, Daily Mail is reporting.

In the video, the driver is seen desperately trying to keep up with the car carrying Kim and sister Kourtney. The driver smartly dressed and talking on the phone is seen jostling for road space with paparazzi on motorbikes trying to take pictures of the celebrities.

The photographers, who were less than impressed with the man's driving skills and for trying to run them off them off the road, confronted him when Kim Kardashian and Kourtney entered an exclusive restaurant in the French capital, at which point the man introduced himself as a police officer.

According to investigators, the man also tried to enter the restaurant where Kim and Kourtney were dining but was turned away by staffers after failing to provide identification. Some photographers who followed the 35-year-old reality star from the restaurant back to her $17,000-per-night luxury apartment said they recognized the same man hanging outside with them for over two hours. They said he peered through the gate occasionally and was on his phone most of the time.

This new revelation is coming on the heels of French investigators who claim that the mother-of-two was tailed by a "Caucasian and North African" days before the robbery. According to an investigator, one man had posed as a plain-clothes detective, the other as a celebrity photographer.

"We know there was one man who pretended to be a photographer who followed the American celebrity on a motorbike to find her whereabouts. Another man pretended to be a plain-clothed detective to try to get a seat next to her at the restaurant Thursday night."

The investigator pointed out that both men had mingled with the unsuspecting crowd to access "close surveillance" information that would have undoubtedly assisted the robbery.

"Both men were fakes. The photographer tried to listen in to the conversations by other snappers, but he was challenged by the genuine ones…the so-called policeman fled when staff at the restaurant asked to see his credentials."

The men spoke with French accents and one of them had even tried to enter the Hotel Pourtales in the early morning hours of Monday. French police say they are suspects in the jewelry heist which had Kim Kardashian pleading that she was a mother and begging not to be killed, even as one of the masked men put a gun to her head.

She was eventually gagged, bound, and dumped in a marble bathtub.

Detectives say they have obtained the license plate of the Fiat 500 and laid hands on a photograph of one of the suspects. They believe the men are part of an extensive and highly professional criminal network, capable of selling flagged jewels and not getting caught.

During initial investigations, no surveillance footage could be found showing the daring robbers entering and exiting the hotel. However, a "million-to-one" image recently obtained by police shows the armed gang creeping past a sleeping guard and escaping on rented bicycles.

The Bel Ange nail salon shares the same street as the Hotel Pourtales and even though the surveillance camera of the small business was not facing the hotel directly, a large mirror reflected an image of the masked robbers as they escaped. The footage is now in the hands of French police.

In the wake of Kim Kardashian's robbery attack, her rapper-husband, Kanye West, is leaving no stone unturned to improve her security. West has hired a virtual security team whose previous clients include the White House, to "combat accidental leaks while using social media."

Chilling new details have emerged that Kim Kardashian begged for her life and feared she would be raped as masked men broke into her Paris apartment. The reality star had her hands tied, duct tape placed on her mouth, and was dumped in a bathtub, TMZ is reporting.

The mother-of-two said she was asleep Monday when she heard the sound of people barreling up the stairs to her room. Kim said she saw one man dressed in a police hat and another man concealing his face slide open the glass door and enter her bedroom.

The 35-year-old reality star said she immediately tried to call her bodyguard, Pascal Duvier, who was watching Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian at a nightclub, but the phone was snatched from her hands before the call went through, and a gun was put to her head.

Kim Kardashian, who has described the Paris robbery as the "worst moment of her life," said she screamed and begged for her life, telling the five masked intruders that she had two children. She also said that she had plenty of valuables and money in the apartment and that they could take it all. The horrified reality star said one of the men seductively held on to her ankles and she had a sense of dread that she was going to raped by him.

Mrs. Kardashian-West said she could not totally make out what the men were saying in the midst of the confusion, but picked them saying "ring… ring… ring" repeatedly. She realized at that moment they were searching for the $4.5 million, 20-carat emerald-cut, Lorraine Schwartz ring her rapper-husband Kanye West had given her.

The robbers took both rings and also stole her jewelry box with content estimated at around $6.7 million. Her purse, 1000 Euros, and two smartphones were also taken. There are fears that, considering the reservoir of information the phones contain, Kim might be in for more trouble, including blackmail.

The men dressed in police markings and ski masks had held the concierge at gunpoint, barged into Kim's luxury apartment, and raided it an for astonishing six minutes before escaping on rented bicycles.

The masked men did not know that Kim's stylist friend, Simone Harouche, was asleep downstairs. Simone had locked herself in the bathroom when she heard the commotion and called Kim's personal bodyguard less than two miles away. Pascal Duvier got to Kim just two minutes after the robbers had fled the scene.

Within hours of the harrowing ordeal, the American TV star had fled Paris via private jet and returned to New York, where she was reunited with her husband, who was waiting at the airport. Kanye West had stopped a concert midway when he heard the news. A source said that all that he was concerned about was his wife.

It was more of a hyped up center with only crappy results to show.

He was there for 3 months.

Barely stopped drinking for a month and came back worse than before.

Everybody is being religious.

Their church is doing nothing.

The boy shows tendency to get violent as he is being deprived plenty of things in order not to fuel his appetite for destruction.

I do not even think that matters.

I have seen him leave the house as early as 7am in the morning, without a dime in his pocket only to come back drunk.
