EducationOptometry Or Pharmacy? by MrOdyssey(op): 11:48am On Nov 20, 2017
Hello Nairalanders. Good morning to you all.
I got a call few minutes ago from a friend who with excitement called to inform me that he just got admitted into he's first and second choice institutions to study optometry and pharmacy respectively.

He asked that i help him make a choice. I don't want to lead him into the wrong career path and risk Messing up he's life so i thought i should bring it here and seek your opinion and advice. Thank u. considering how saturated pharmacy as a profession is and how the system is being ran here in Nigeria, which is a more lucrative, Optometry or Pharmacy?

OP tell your self the truth. Are all those things you dropped up there really practical?.

Can one really read everyday?. remember sometimes you return from lectures as late as 6pm and you are already totally famished and exhausted for any other academic work for that day.

It good to dream big and set high standards but these is REAL LIFE so snap out of your FANTASY.

I downloaded caught in a hustle and dance with the devil, I like the way he flows, so I search for him and downloaded 27more tracks..

I like hopsin, ill mind of hopsin series and other tracks.
Haha. i don't have up to dat number. just a few tho but the realest of em all. check out "leaving the past" by same techniques. he dropped one of the deepest verse i hav evee heard from a rap track "Hell is not a place you go if you not a Christian,it the failure of your lifes greatest ambition.,it a bad decision to blindly follow any religion". damn!. Dude mudered every single verse from that track. hottest shit ever.

Talking about Hopsin. i vibe to him too. "good guys get left behind" and "Dream forever" are my fav tracks both off Knock madness album.

trust me you really need to check "good guys get left behind" out. very deep and revealing track addressing issues of relationship and all of em emotional shit.

#Hopsin is good

PoliticsRe: Blame Nnamdi Kanu If Violence Erupts In Nigeria: Northern Coalition by MrOdyssey(m): 2:05am On Aug 08, 2017
highchief3:
I leave in the north, got properties there too, I have never supported or encourage the actions of ipob but today my life and that of my family is threatened simply because am igbo.
I run legitimate business and pay multiple tax without complain but today my fellow country men are threatening my life because am igbo.
The safety of my life and that of my children can not be guaranteed in my country that I still possess the passport simply because am igbo.
My fellow dear country men can just wake up any day and order me and my family to pack back to my village simply because they feel they can inherite my properties that I toiled day and night to build. All this is because I committed the crime of being born an igbo person.

A lot of us don't really care about ipob and many others are sitting on the fence.. I personally have no direct reason to support ipob, I work hard and take care of my family and don't even have time for other things but if by Oct 1 any thing happens to my loved ones.....

I will have one reason and one reason only ''VENGEANCE'' and if it will aid the activities of ipob and burn this country so be it.
You better not wait to see the outcome of the threat., Wisdom is profitable to direct. Time and time has proven an average northerner to understand only one language - Violence. Pls do not set ur self up as another lab rat for their barbaric experiment.
You can always go bak to ur base when things settle and lastly.

Always think home bro. A gift of blessing and prosperity sown in the North is like the proverbial Onyiye mummy water.
PoliticsRe: Igbos Are Marginalised, But Nnamdi Kanu Must Be Arrested – Edwin Clark by MrOdyssey(m): 3:09pm On Aug 07, 2017
Amarabae:
In asmuch I disagree with Kanu on that Anambra election bycott but asking for him to be arrested is dumb and silly.
Did he ask for Tompolo, Ateke tom and Dokubo arrest when they were militanting for their selfish gains.
And btw MR EDWIN CLARK, Igbos don't produce oil in only Abia and Imo.
We produce Oil in Oyigbo(my area), Etche, Omuma, Ndoni, Rivers Egbema, Ogbaru Anambra areas etc.
Stop twisting history and trying to play the divide and conquer tactics Gowon taught you in 1967.
We know our Boundary and don't need your opinion.
Trying to limit Igbos to 5 South East states will Always fail woefully.
Thanks.
God bless you my Dear. it beats me how people fail to understand that state is an artificial creation and what really makes a man is his identify and not his state of origin.

igbo is a tribe and any igbo person whether in the creeks of the niger or the deserts of the north must be accounted for. The period of divide and conquer has surely come to an end.

Chukwudi from Delta state, Chinenye from River state , Emeka from Imo state are all igbos regardless of the artificially created geopolitical zoning. Igbo bu ofu

PoliticsRe: Count Me Out Of Biafra Cabinet – Labaran Maku by MrOdyssey(m):
Maku is one Northerner i hold at a very high esteem and once again he has proven himself to be an intellectual technocrate.

Notice the way he filed out answers to each question concisely and intelligibly without sounding spiteful at those who named him minister like the typical Northerner will do. Aside Magu, i give it up for Sultan Sanusi. These two guys are quintessentially refined northerner with no trace of arrogance nor penchant for violence in them, something peculiar to the average Northerner regardless of the level of education but i beg to differ the last point.

Religion will never and can never be an instrument for societal reformation except of course he meant reformation in the context of struggle by a particular religious sect for domination, Struggle by the other minority religious sect not to go into extinction which eventually causes political and societal instability, unrest, disunity, hatred ,fear and eventual collapse of the system.

Religion can and will never be an instrument of unity rather Religion divides so when we are talking about unity here, no pretentious hypocrite should dig up religion as a factor.

seunmsg:
Senators Leahy and his hypocritical friends can do nothing. The Trump administration is a strong ally of the current government in Nigeria and both countries are partnering to put an end to Islamic terrorism. The US Senate will easily approve the sales because it's in accord with the policy of the Trump administration.

I know some of you ipobs are saddened by this development but the truth is, Trump do not give a fvck about your Biafra. American stands to gain more by partnering with a honest and anti corruption crusader like Buhari irrespective of whether Obama or Trump is the president.

By this sales again, America already made it clear where they will stand in case of another war of secession. Let the wise be guided.
The United States government just like Trump are Busness people.

Terkimbi01:
Now I know the North is truly scared of the emergence of Independent states from Nigeria.

As Nnamdi Kanu is the symbol of the current agitation, they hate him with soooooo much passion.

I don't see any need of him going to Kaduna, but if he has the courage to and ene up going there, then me too will plan to be there with him.

This is a sweet but powerful revolution, I want to be part of it.
Bro i have been observing your comments and contributions on threads here lately.

You just earned my respect!.

You are an intelligent and brave comrade. if every Nigerian youth had your kind of spirit, Nigeria would hav long been a better place.
