It high time we the youths of these nation rise and take charge of our destiny since the old men we left in control seem to be heavily occupied with the thoughts and activities of embezzling funds and further plunging us deeper into slavery and servitude.

Our Endurance level is way too high and it sickening.
These cannot happen in South Africa. By now the media will be agog with news of how some south African youths stormed a Chinese owned Company, looted and sacked the whole place while leaving the Chinese citizens in a pool of their own blood for having the effrontery of maltreating a South African in his home land.

You claim you can't walk away from the marriage cos you already have a son for him, giving us the impression that you are a caring and loving mother who cannot afford to abandon her own child but at the same time you can afford to take ur own life hence (still) abandoning ur son and at the same time making what is left of his life miserable forever.

Honestly your reasoning and thinking is terribly warped.

Get a divorce ma'am if you can't cope with the marriage any longer while making sure you claim custody of your son.

A dead man feels no pain, only the living (which in these case is your son ) does.

Pls do not destroy that young boys life by leaving him with such a stigma. He isn't responsible for your pain and shouldn't b made to suffer for it.

Peace

Any baby I pick his/ her used pampers only lives for 14 days, afterward he dies"
This 'mad man' was arrested at Asaba, Delta state with a bag full of used baby pampers. He collects them from people's waste bin in the guise of scavenging for food. On interrogation, he confessed he sells them to a client in Ogun state

PoliticsRe: Biafra Vs Arewa Face Off: The Five Major Issues We Must Not Fail To Understand by MrOdyssey(m): 4:10pm On Jun 14, 2017
Nnemuka:
i stopped reading when i saw this "The complete lack of regard for the religious believe of the typical Muslim is usually the trigger for violence between the Arewa Muslim community and the Igbo nation, it is not unusual to find an Igbo man provocatively gulping a bottle of beer before a fasting Muslim neighbor without recourse to their emotions during Ramadan, the failure and outright refusal of a vast majority of the Igbo community to recognize and respect the religious beliefs of their host communities will continue to be the weakest and most lethal link in this complex relationship."

So because some set of people are fasting then others should not drink beer or may be eat again? you were making sense until i read that.
i will advise you to delete that part and think of something else to say. Its like saying people should not take their bath because its snowing in America, and Americans dont bathe during that period. mtcheww
Or perhaps saying because it ramadan and Muslims are not allowed to engage in sexual activities, non-muslims shouldn't sleep with their wives.

The posts obviously reeks with sentiments and bias.

but the Igbo's are not united within themselves.....have Biafra and you'd see the truth.
Igbos are not united yet the collectively obeyed the sit-at-home order by a 'no body' called Nnamdi kalu whom the see as their representative?. Perhaps we all have to go live in the same house and eat from the same pot to show folks like you how united we really are.

its very easy to market them. u can take them to market or sell it to those roasting corn by the road side. I have checked one market close to my school and demand for corn there is high same with d price.
well I plan to cultivate it next session becos we are rounding up our second semester exam 23rd of these month and we are vacating the school hostel after exam, by God grace I will cultivate d farm by September when we resume and am going to plant cassava because its easy to maintain and it's not going to affect my studies. I would av love to plant pumpkin but it requires intensive care of which I don't av d time for.
Damn!. Did i just hear u say take it to the market to sell?. Lolz. Mehn. I can't imagine my self going to a market place to sell corn. Ok. I will go wit the second option. Sell it those street women roasting corn.

I intend using paid labour. I.e pay people to cultivate the farmland for me while i nurse the plant and do the harvesting my self. Can i still make a reasonable profit from the sells of the corn even after paying for the labour?

Do you have a customer target?
2.whats your plan for the farmland after these planting season?

PoliticsSouth-south Leaders To FG On Biafra: Listen To The Cries Of Igbo. by MrOdyssey(op): 1:56am On Jun 05, 2017
By Emma Amaize, Regional Editor, South-South

THE Pan Niger-Delta Forum, PANDEF, a coalition of traditional rulers and leaders of ethnic nationalities of the South-South region, yesterday, advised the Federal Government and the rest of the country to listen to the demands of the Biafra agitators in the South-East region.
PANDEF, in a statement by its Co-Chairman, Obong Victor Attah, said: “Biafra is born out of a deep-seated and agonizing feeling of marginalization and discrimination, so as has been advised; let us listen to the Ibos and the Biafra agitators.”

It pointed out that there was no harm in discussing the unity of Nigeria, adding: “We listen to them with clear understanding that Nigeria is better off united and that disintegration is not in anyone’s interest.
Biafran Angels at the event

“The success recorded by the Biafra sit-at-home call as reported by various news media is a clear indication that all is not well in our country. We in PANDEF find this quite disturbing and, therefore, consider it necessary to issue this statement.”
“We have always had centrifugal and centripetal forces working at variance within the country. The compromise between this forces gave birth to our federal system, which at independence provided for us to be our brothers’ keepers, while at the same time providing enough for each region to develop at its own pace”.

The South-South group said it was convinced that the solution to the challenges that agitate the nation today were contained in the over 600 recommendations of the 2014 National Conference.

It posited: “Restructuring does not, by any stretch of imagination, suggest a breakup of the country. We also acknowledge that restructuring cannot happen overnight or in one fell swoop, but must be diligently embarked upon for our harmonious co-existence.

“The conference report did not suggest abolition of states, but carefully spelt out steps to be taken to restructure our federal system without pain. The wisdom of implementing the recommendations of that conference cannot be overemphasized,” the group added.
