Update: I just told her this evening to Bleep off and take her hatred and bitternessness to hell. I have done enough, I did not steal or murder someone, I wrong her and have apologise but if she chose to still hold grudge she can go to hell.

I was diagnosed with HIV in 2009 in a heart to heart center and immediately, I start exhibiting all the symptoms of HIV. I got thin overnight, sores started growing in my throat, and some rashes too.

I was told to begin medication immediately.. The hospital they referred me to, for my ART drugs ran another test.

Everything came out negative. They conducted more test to confirm and everything was negative. I got confused.

I went to a more sophisticated private lab here in Abia state. Still, the test was all negative. What happened? What do I have to say about the symptoms?

What am I saying? The mind is powerful, and these churches and pastors will not help you. Instead, they will play on your emotions and heighten your fears..

Dump all of them and go to a reliable hospital. Let them run some tests and know what's really wrong with you.

Hospitals are where you should go when you're sick, not the church. I don't know if this will sink, but for your sake, I hope it does.

Yes, logic counters logic, but you cannot counter logic with a logical fallacy. What you have explained up there is a kind of logical fallacy known as Onus Probandi, that is, shifting the burden of proof. It is logically impossible to prove a negative (e.g. God does not exist), hence why the burden of proof is usually on the claimant (i.e. there is god)


This is another kind of logical fallacy called the Equivocation Fallacy. If you want to argue for the existence of god or any other entity for that matter, you must first define what that entity is, otherwise, it is impossible to make your case. If you define god as an ant for instance, then of course, it makes no logical sense to disagree with the existence of god. But if you define god as an ant with trunk of an elephant, then your conception about god can be questioned. If you define god as 'some entity', you will be technically correct, and everybody would agree god exists, but the lack of precision makes your statement meaningless. Consider an examination scenario where you are asked for the answer to 1+1. If you say your answer is 'some number', you will be technically correct, but you'll never get any points for such an answer. Put simply, the meaningfulness of your claim (i.e. god exists) is directly proportional to the precision with which you definite the subject (what god are you referring to?)

Your advise is spot on, but your analogy is anything but logical. The Nigerian government is not all powerful, nor did it create (free)will. Unless you are prepared to concede that god is not all powerful. But first, you must define god (See my response to 2)


Your petitions don't make any sense at all. Atheists do not claim to know/have all the answers. In fact, their level of knowledge varies drastically from person to person, and they disagree a lot, even on subjects within the realms of science. It's the obsessive compulsive need of religionists to impose an answer on everything that is the problem here.

If I only wanted to diss people that disagree with me, I could do that on the politics, sports, romance section...or I could go to an atheist forum...but I don't do these.

How do you know this is me? You are being fastidious, it does not matter whether is me or my sister or anyone because in this forum we are all anonymous. The bottom line is that you know you are communicating with a human being. Therefore your position is not tenable.

You can't answer a question by posing another question. I am a humanist and you asked me if there is anything that I believe in that cannot be verified. The simple answer is no. I am not superstitious and I believe in things that are verifiable including when you tell me about your God, you have to prove that he/it exists.

That leads me to a response to your assertion that when I said that there is no evidence of God, it means I claimed to know it all. I do not claim to know it all, my claim is that there is no evidence of God and you have not been able to discredit this assertion. I don't even know enough to say there is no God, my position is there is no evidence of his existence and this is a truism.

I would not be debating the physics, biology and chemistry of the world, it will do you and I no good. I do not care what you think about evolution, consciousness or energy. It is a search I am not interested in. Similarly, my interest here only relates to the evidence of God's existence. If you have any verifiable evidence of God, I would be willing to share it with you but please do not tell me the bible is your evidence because it is not.

For your assertion that other gods but Yahweh are false, you are again engaging in a conclusion you have no fact to support. You simply do not know which God is real if at all there is God. If you understand why you dismissed Zeus as God then you would understand why others dismiss Yahweh and his son. If your qwest is to discredit evolution to validate God, I say good luck in that but count me out. To me there is a possibility that both evolution and God dogma are both wrong. However, evolution makes more sense than the God delusion.
