Yes, he has the right holding to the fact that he may end up becoming your husband. Yes, he has the right to stop you from any thing he thinks can danger you or the relationship. There are always a lot of negative comments going on here on daily basis(I don't know why the owner and moderators allow that) which requires some maturity otherwise you might get home or office depressed as a result.
