Business / Re: Tension In Kano As Seized N315b Textile Materials Await Burning by mrramadan(m): 2:56pm On Jun 07, 2015
Beremx:
Instead of burning the textile materials, why not donate it to the less priviledged?

I agree with you. There are thousands of people who really need these. Especially our internally displaced persons in the north and the thousands of orphanages in the country. But instead, most of it will be carted away by the so called officers and will still find itself into the market.
I believe this is the handiwork of that so called Dahiru Mangal. The same man who has helped in crumbling our textile industry. God pass all of them sha.

Business / Re: Am Based In Germany, If You Need Anything Let Me Know by mrramadan(m): 11:52am On Jun 06, 2015
jascon1:
I accept that as a compliment and thanks for not being critical to my comment as other members here do. But, I'm equally a diaspora like u, but am now looking inward. I believe the land is green for all of us. There is actually more money in Nigeria only if we seek the right places. After all think, we take our money from naija to Germany n then back to naija n still profit is made. Which means if we locally manufacture what we seek in Germany there would be double profit making.

I'm with you on this. It's only when you leave the shores of Nigeria that you get to realise that so much more money could be made in Nigeria and you can also touch lives in a positive way while actually making money.

thanks bro

Let me add to this. You can also decide to become a freight broker for companies, it's less stressful once you understand it. Believe me when I say that is one of the safest and with less risks when it comes to haulage and transport generally.

Phones / Re: What Is The Ideal Number Of Missed Calls To Give A Person?? by mrramadan(m): 7:39am On May 11, 2015
Osihgen:
I want to know the number of missed calls you feel you can give a person without being a pest because many people end up giving you loads of missed calld without realising that they are disturbing. For me sha, I think 2 is enough.

Two is enough. I will call you the first time and allow it ring until it stops, then redial it again, in my head I'm thinking the person is about to pick and then it hangs up (MTN users). So I will call the second time, if you don't pick then that's it. I will only call you back maybe after 1-2hrs (depending on how important) or maybe the person is out of airtime.

A person who isn't enmeshed in politics does not see the need to become an apologist.
Either by association or commission, she is a politician.
While it is a rather derogatory term, I think Oby does more of politicking.

I can understand her reason for distancing herself from the word.

Despite my interest in politics, I wouldn't want to be referred to as a politician.

But then, it is what it is.
God bless for this..

It does't really matter if she has been a follower or because she is from his state or whatever. Most of us here are fans of GMB, so whats the big deal?
We are so quick to forget or maybe some of us don't know that GMB was the same man who discovered a great woman like the late Dora Akunyuli and recommended her to the past administration. We also know that GMB is someone who knows how to pick them. Another thing we fail to realize is that he is human, he is not 100% perfect like most people have seen him to be. 100% of his cabinet can't be people we all will agree to. Let's see what she can do first, before we start to crucify her.

Crime / Re: How Indian Defrauded Nigerian Banks Of N32b, Court Told! by mrramadan(m): 11:44am On Apr 22, 2015
This is one of the reasons why I use the signature, "Never envy a man's trousers, his boxers might be full of holes". I was told this at a very early age and this has really kept me out of trouble and also taught me to never envy any of these so called rich men we see riding in big cars, coming on TV getting international awards and the likes.
You see a man whose total assets are worth 1 billion, but is owing the banks 5 billion. Abeg how is that a rich man? With the 5k wey I get for account, I be Bill Gates for his side grin... lol

Career / Re: Sacked For Sending Official Mail With Blackberry by mrramadan(m): 8:38am On Apr 19, 2015
biggy00000:
Pls I want to talk oo.
1- did the company permit staff to link their devices to their official mail? ( wait for ur company official policy/ guideline before telling hr that u r smart n u use a smart phone)
2-- if ur company permit 1 then its either u did not follow policy( policy would av stated aw to configure n what to edit) OR 3
3--- HR WANTED TO LAY U OFF.

These are the most important questions to ask. I am regularly on the field and I send and reply emails from my mobile device on a daily basis. The signature "From Blackberry or Samsung" . This is also to let the person you are sending the email to know that you are on the move have limited access to a computer.
There is a reason why it is called a smartphone, before Nigeria turned it into a show off device which even secondary school students now carry smartphones around, it was actually made for professionals.

freetowns:
Hey guys,
I am currently looking for a man or woman (living in USA) who is interested in partnering wiv me in bringing in goods from USA.

I currently sale UK cosmetics and toiletries at the popular TradeFair complex in Lagos. I have slowly studied the US market here and I am well interested in diversifying to US products.

I have enough finance, but looking for someone who would wanna partner wiv me.

The idea is the partner handles the buying from the US while I handle the selling in Nigeria.

Goods that we can sale well here are: Pringle, Bounty tissues, Daily Chef Non dairy creamer, Famous Amos biscuits, Quaker Oats, Wilson Cranola Oil, Irish Spring Shower Gels, honey bunches, Netscape, caprisuns.

The idea is d partner source for the goods in USA, loads d goods in a container with 2 accidented cars. I sale d goods in Nigeria n remit money bck

I would have loved to join but I am not current based there. But if you have business in UAE, then I'm your guy...
