Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has reacted to the decision of some state governors to relax the lockdown order in their states for churches to celebrate Easter.



While preaching on Friday April 10th, Pastor Chris said the church is not a place of infection but rather a place of blessings. He prayed against anyone coming to church and getting infected.



The clergyman who last week said the lockdown in Lagos and Abuja was for the Federal government to install 5G network in the state, said any wise government knows not to trouble the church.

They're given 50,000 per day for the next 30 days - FCT minister announces daily hazard fees for COVID-19 frontline health workers in Abuja


The daily hazard fees for COVID-19 frontline health workers in Abuja as approved by the FCT Minister has been announced.



It was revealed that doctors who care for Coronavirus patients will get a hazard fee of 50,000 per day. Nurses, lab scientists, and pharmacists will get a
hazard fee of 30,000 per day, and ward heads, cleaners, and drivers who handle Coronavirus patients will get a hazard fee of 20,000 per day.

The announcement was made after doctors cried out that they are putting their lives on the line only to get 5,000 Naira hazard fees.


Following the announcements, doctors replied, stating that the 50,000 Naira only applies for those in the frontline in the fight against Coronavirus

and the rest of them get only 5k per month, not per day.

Consul-General of Nigeria in China confronts Chinese officials for targeting Nigerians in the wake of Coronavirus in the country


The Consul-General of Nigeria in Guangzhou, China, Mr Anozie Madaubuchi Cyril has confronted some Chinese officials days after a video of Nigerians being sent out of their apartments in the Asian country went viral on social media.

Mr Cyril accused the Chinese officials of targeting Nigerians in the wake of Coronavirus which began in the country. The ambassador insisted that no Chinese citizen has been served the same treatment in Nigeria, as he also pointed out that the same act is not meted out to citizens of other countries where Coronavirus has been confirmed in.

He disclosed that most Nigerians who are victims of the Chinese government maltreatment live in China and have not been out of the country.

Former Oyo state First Lady, Florence Ajimobi, opened up to her daughter Abisola Kola Daisi that her husband, former Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi cheated on her multiple times. She also explained how she handled his infidelity.



During an Instagram live chat with her daughter, Florence spoke about marriage, motherhood, growing up as a love child, and the only condition under which divorce can be considered.



She said that she caught her husband cheating on her a few times but she chose to forgive him each time to save her marriage. She said she never called him out for it after he apologizes.



She said: "Even on one or two occasions that I've caught him cheating, he will apologize. And once he apologizes and it ends, I never go back to them again, I never Bisola, I never ever discussed it.



"Because, what I'm saying is, to err is human, to forgive is divine. We are friends.



"Even as a wife, sometimes I fall below his expectations. Sometimes we do things that is even worse than cheating."



"Like what? What is worse? What can I do that is worse than cheating?" Her first child Abisola Kola Daisi asked.



And the former First Lady of Oyo State responded: "I know some women that build houses without their husband knowing. It's as bad. It's as bad. Why would you do such a thing without telling him. Why?



"So, there are different things we do. It is not just cheating that is bad in a relationship. There are some people that you know, they keep dirty secrets and they don't tell their husbands.



"So, if you say somebody is your friend. Why are you keeping things?



"Sometimes, when I do something, sometimes, I can't even face my husband. I send him messages when I know I've done something because I don't want to see the hurt on his face, I just write it down. I send him a text and he replies me that 'it's OK, Flory, we can talk about it'."



She added that for a man, having sex with his wife is different from sex with a side chic. She said having sex with the wife is "making love" while sex with the other woman is just sex.



"But I think most men, when they cheat, they just have sex with the woman. And the women are smart enough. They know what they want. They have sex with them and they...



"When a man is having a relationship with a woman he loves, he's making love, he's not having sex.



"So if you're cheap enough, give yourself to my husband. He's mine. Whatever is mine will not go away. He will use you and come back to me.



"I tell people, it's my leftover you're eating. He's my leftover. I've eaten the better part of him. I get the chunky meat, eat the bone, it's none of my business. And you're doing it hush hush hush hush. You're not enjoying it because you're stealing. You're looking, 'is somebody there? Am I going to be caught?'



"So, he's my husband, he can't go anywhere else..."



She added that cheating hurts a woman when she loves her husband, but a woman who doesn't love her husband wouldn't care what he does.



"If you don't love your husband, you won't be jealous. A woman that doesn't love her husband will not care what he does out there. She doesn't care. Even when you see him, you don't care.



"When I see my husband, you know, ahn ahn, I feel like dying. When I love him so much and I don't want to be seen as a failure to lose him to somebody else, so I fight for him. I'm always fighting for him, always fighting to get him back... And he knows."



She went on to reveal how she reacts when her husband cheats on her.



She said: "Sometimes, I see my husband... I can Google the girl's name and then I just print out the picture and put it on the bed. When he comes back from work, he sees the girl's picture on his bed and he knows the girl.



"I put her name, I put her telephone number and I don't say a word. I don't say a word. I've done it before, ask him. I print it out.



"Because, when I see the phone, I use Truecaller, it will give me the name of the person. I'll Google the name of the person. Even, one was living in America. I Googled her, printed her picture, put it on the bed. What do you have to say? And I left.



"So, when he went into the room, he saw it on the bed. I don't know what happened. I wasn't there. I don't know what he did.



"But, you know, he now came to me later that, 'can we discuss?' I said, 'about what? Nothing to discuss'. 'Do you want me to send her away?' I said, 'pay her off'."



She added: "No, I want to keep my home. So, where would I go? I'll go and be staying alone? When I've laboured all these while then somebody will come and enjoy? Never. It's not going to happen. Never. Never. Never never never."



Abisola then asked her mother: "You're known to be an advocate of 'no divorce'. At what point can divorce make sense?"



Florence Ajimobi responded: "The point where I'll opt for divorce is when he becomes violent.



"But I don't buy divorce because i look at my background and especially where I'm coming from. I'm a love child, my mother never married my father. I was born out of wedlock. I grew up with my mum and my stepfather and I knew what it takes . It is not the best for any child.



"So, when I got married, I had made up my mind that when I get to the union called marriage, it's going to be forever. And i had also made up my mind that there's nothing the man can do, it's from his house to my grave."



Her daughter pointed out that she mentioned she would make an exception if violence is involved, and Ms Ajimobi stated that for a man to get violent, the woman must have played a part.



She said: "But, for it to get violent, I tell a lot of ladies that sometimes, you prompt it. I'm not going to let a man beat me because I'd rather lock myself up and tell him I'm not going to ever come out because I know he'll beat me.



"Maybe I know I've said some horrible things. You know women, we can talk, we can get aggressive. Sometimes I know I've said horrible things to my husband and I see the look on his face. Before it gets further, I just lock myself in the toilet. And he'll call me to come, I'll say 'never, your going to beat me'. He'll say, "Florence, I'm not'. I'll say, 'promise me on your mother's something, you can't beat me'.



"And he's not a bastard. You tell a man some horrible things, he gets angry, he gets worked up. So, I want us to learn from that. We should mind what we say. Because an angry man cannot control himself. Neither can an angry woman control her words too.



"So, we sometimes provoke the men to that level. But when you know you've done it, don't let any man beat you for crying out loud, don't allow it."

Nigerians who travelled to China for business have alleged that they were mistreated and were thrown out of their hotels over fears that they may bring Coronavirus back to the Asian Country.



China has succeeded in bringing the Coronavirus pandemic under control but the rest of the world is still battling the virus that originated from Wuhan in China.



Nigerians who travelled to China for business shared a video online to show the way they were treated when they travelled there.



In the video, Chinese police are seen chasing the Nigerian businessmen from their hotel.



The Nigerian men are heard telling the Chinese police that there are Chinese all over Africa and they are treated well. The men added that the virus spread to other countries from China yet they (Nigerians) are being punished for it.



Another video shows the Nigerians roaming on the streets, stranded. They revealed that they are not allowed to lodge into any other hotels and they have nowhere to go .



They claim that when they arrived in China, they were quarantined for 14 days and after the 14 days were up, they were sent out and have been prevented from booking any hotel.

Dino Melaye has called for the demobilization of 5G network which he claimed has been mounted in some parts of Nigeria.

The former Senator who described 5G network as evil, stated that it kills the immune system, affects the respiratory system, causes cancer and hypertension and indirectly causing the deaths of Coronavirus patients.

He back his statement by sharing videos in which plants growing near a 5G network were affected by the fifth generation of wireless communications technologies.

Another video has surfaced online, showing young military officers, sending warnings and threats to Warri residents. One of them can be heard saying "Warri people, we go dey worry una." Another said "una don touch us ooo, una don pice, una must buy am."

This comes some days after warri youths attacked military officers posted to Warri who are meant to enforce the sit at home order of delta state, killed a warri youth. It is alleged that one of the military officers later died from injuries sustained during the assault.

A Nigerian man based in Philippines said he was woken up this morning by government officials who gave I'm among others, a bag of rice, noodles, sausages and some other food items as part of governments gesture to help reduce the negative financial effects the sit at home order would have on its residents.

He wondered that if he who isn't a citizen was given such gifts, what then would be given to citizens, and even marveled that the government officials also took him phone numbers and gave him theirs, so he can contact them should in case he needs anything.

This video which occurred in Ghana to me is the best action I have seen an African military officer take so far since the COVID-19 lockdown across major West African countries.

The officers caught a bus fully loaded with commuters who not only broke the sit at home order by the government, but were also not practicing social distancing, nor were they wearing face masks.

That the normal violent act of punishing them which we have seen not only African soldiers carry out, the army officer took his time to address the commuters.

He told them that it is better for them to go through the hardships at home, than risk contracting the virus and dying.

He told then that they being the military officers would even have preferred staying at home, but have been deployed to make things easy for them (citizens) and country (Ghana).

Let her die in my house - Nigerian dad threatens to take his daughter out of isolation due to poor treatment

A video of a Nigerian dad complaining bitterly over the poor condition his daughter is allegedly being subjected to at an isolation center, has surfaced online.

The man who introduced himself as Mr Olanutu, told reporters during an interview that his daughter who is diagnosed with the novel Coronavirus, has been left unattended to by the medical staff at one of the isolation centers.

Although he did not mention which of the Isolation centers, the aggrieved dad also said his daughter had not been fed since she was moved into the isolation center.

A video clip of a sick passenger on an Air Peace flight from Lagos that landed at the Aminu Kano International Airport, Kano, on Tuesday caused fear of a COVID-19 spread in the city.

The one-minute-four-second clip suspected to have been recorded by an airport staff, has background voices saying the pilot had refused to allow the passengers disembark because he suspected coronavirus.

The voices commended the pilot for his supposed action, “as the case may spread the virus to Kano where many people see COVID-19 as conspiracy or media hype. The best thing is the flight should return to Lagos. Since there are confirmed cases in Lagos, or Gwagwalada.”

However, the special adviser to governor Abdullahi Ganduje on Media, Salihu Tanko-Yakasai, said the passenger’s sickness was not a case of COVID-19.

According to him, the pilot refused to open the doors when the plane landed after a passenger was reported to be vomiting, pending the arrival of CDC experts who examined the person and found his was a case of flight phobia, being a first-time air traveller.

“The CDC team also took precautionary measures by spraying the entire plane and passengers with disinfectants,” Mr Tanko-Yakasai added. “They equally took details of the passengers in case of any issue that might arise afterward.”

Also commenting on the development, the co-chair, Kano State Task Force on COVID-19, Abdulrazak Habib, told journalists that a preliminary test-run on the patient returned negative and he did not have symptoms of COVID-19.

‘’The case is a young man of 17-years old and a first-timer boarding aircraft. The boy boarded the aircraft for the first time and developed phobia,’’ said Mr Habib.”

Mr Habib said the boy was discharged after his data was taken.
