I know I am going to steps on some crusty toes. Here it is! I am not going to bring the bible nor other religious books in this equation. I am going to simply speak logically. for·ni·ca·tion (fôrn-kshn) n. Sexual intercourse between partners who are not married to each other. We now know the definition of Fornication, let look at the definition of Adultery. a·dul·ter·y (-dlt-r, -tr) n. pl. a·dul·ter·ies Voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and a partner other than the lawful spouse. We now know the definition of Adultery, let me further elaborate on my point. Now poster, your question is having more than one wife is a sin and vice versa with having more than one husband is a sin. If we are speaking from ethical standpoint, which means a system of principles then we would say that it depends on the person who are committing such act on the SYSTEM of which they believes to be ethical. However, if we were to look at the moral standpoint, we will say that it is a sin for a person who have multiple wives or husbands because of the judgement between good or evil. Now wrapping it up in a logical standpoint is if a person is LEGALLY MARRIED to a person who is cited on a certificate or license that would not be consider a in because they are legally married therefore no act of fornication involved. Now if a person who is LEGALLY MARRIED to a person who is cited on a certificate or license that having relations of any kind to a person that is not cited on the license is committing adultery according to the definitions. People have their own sets of principles of how they see fit and most likely use principles that benefits them regardless of it logically sounded or not. |
It seems as if you are looking for approval from the masses as if Asians and Nigerians do not have sexual or romantic relationships. If you love him and he love you, he will propose to you at his own time. You do not want to DO ANYTHING to make a man PROPOSE TO YOU then you will wonder did he proposed out of love or pressure. Just enjoy life and if he doesn't propose you within a year then self evaluate and prioritize your goals. If there is no proposal and you seeking it then I would say He just not that into you. It doesn't have anything to do with your race nor culture. |
Dsense Are you saying correct on romantic or unaffectionate? |
