PoliticsRe: Atiku Will Support Peter Obi In 2027 If The Party Decides by mrskillz: 7:11pm On May 18, 2024
If Obi returns to PDP on the pretext of promises made to him, he might get dumped by the PDP and there is no where he will head to again. He should not allow Atiku to destroy him. He is walking alone back to PDP, and expect his followers to be intact?

Be careful of what you say around children.

Maybe they all have once checked the cooking gas before, with the girl, tried it, and expressed how dangerous it is where it is located, but the little girl decided to see next time they visited, how dangerous it is really.

He was very much aware that the future was technology, investment and personal development and not FEMALE....

He has keyed into this and already reaping the rewards.

TravelRe: Cow Imported From US By Ekiti Government Breaks Loose At Lagos Airport by mrskillz: 2:00pm On Apr 23, 2021
This is long awaited. This is a natural solution to the problems caused by Fulani herdsmen.
Let all Southern states take up this initiative , and watch the Fulani's ancestral business crumble.

My advise to Ekiti state government is to secure the farm heavily, because it may likely come under attack, so as to frustrate the Govt. effort.

Abeg, are you trying to kill mosquitoes in public places.

Instead of you to
1. Close all the borders

2. Encourage local production of sanitizers and make it available at a cheap price

3. Compulsory usage of nose mask

4. Enforce Social distance

Ayoefa:
The way some where going about bragging about Amotekun gives the impression that they are all ready set to go.

That's not my main reason for asking the question sarcastically, it's because we always put the cart before the horse.
The biggest crime problem in the SW is not about Fulani Herdsmen but about thugs, gangs. cult and the like but the talk of FUlani Herdsmen is more politically expedient for the politicians hence all the cacophony and hoopla about the Amotekun lunch. Isn't crazy to create a security out fit to go after a crime that come up once in a month or even more but ignore crimes that occur on daily basis.
I swear black man is condemned to doom for the next 100 years.
I said it from scratch that Amotekun idea is as foolish as a toddler asking for permission to drive a car.
Common sense will dictate that you will create a security outfit to tackle all crimes in the SW not just a crime that comes around so infrequently just because you want to satisfy your political base. Pure rubbish.
How do you feel when you show your ignorance glaringly online with brazen foolery.

I’m sure U don’t even know the scope and the limits, modus operandi of Amotekun

I’m sure you are not aware that they are yet operational.

Stop typing faster than what you know.
Seek knowledge first.

Please don't justify crime in any way.

It is lazy people that blame others but themselves.

The criminality had always occurred before the lockdown, according to you. No body can give you all you need, anywhere in the world.

It will still get finished no matter the handouts given.
You must eaten something today, right?
If not you will understand the guy you quoted earlier.
The poverty rate is escalating with the stay at home.
It’s eat or you die at home.
It is a natural phenomenon for crime rate to skyrocket in situation like this, cos hunger does not know gentle man.
Govt should manage the process of getting palliative to the citizens more effectively and quickly, because the next couple of weeks may not be funny.

Water must find its way.

In a sane society devoid of nepotism, corruption and sectionalism, this is how it should be;

Compile the list of poor elderly; 80 yrs and above( put them on compulsory monthly stipend).

Create opportunities like community service(planting of trees, cleaning of the environment, public work, farm settlements for the people identified as poor.

Create Public shelter for the vulnerable across the nation.

Above all, a large chunk of these money should be invested in compulsory Education. An uneducated mind is so limited By poverty in today’s world

You have emboldened a lazy man to never seek for work when you keep giving him free money.

Awol1:
They are working so hard to gather points they'd consider enough to curry the Eastern votes in 2023.

But hey, I think I need to remind us that the Second Niger bridge was commissioned as Public Private Partnership Project.

What that means, as I remember president GEJ saying then, is that once the govt pays it's counterpart fund for the project, which Jonathan did, the project will go on irrespective of who is in power.

That's the truth they don't want us to remember.
Do you think that is how PPP works, even if Jonathan initiated this project.
Who provides 100% counterpart fund at a go for a gigantic project like this?
Payment are made in tranches after sections have been certified completed and satisfactory.

Brainwashed boy
PoliticsRe: FG To Borrow $500m To Digitalize NTA by mrskillz: 2:49pm On Feb 10, 2020
Officialgarri:
It's quite a shame on you to be among the people who affirms a belief that social media might have come too early to Nigeria.
Everyone child wants to comment even on matters they are totally ignorant about. What do you know about TV stations both analogue and digital? I mean can you even afford a TV set?

Did you and the 'first to comment crew' even try to read the report to the end? No. You just read "$500m" and then your adrenaline pushes you type whatever...

No doubt, the proposed social media regulation would have helped a lot.

Go to Quora or other educative websites and you'd see it will cost about $850m to setup a TV station. But you didn't even read the part where Lai said....

... the loan was aimed at establishing the media and culture industry centre at the cost of $245m, digitise all NTA stations at $11m and construct integrated television services to infuse on network, .......

Instead you were bent on making bold every letter you need to expose your ignorance.
What is the essence of the media and culture industry center.

Useless White elephant project.

Instead, establish an Entertainment academy( in Lagos) .

Set aside endowment fund for talented producers, actors, musicians, comedians and others.

By the way, people like wizkid, Davido etc has made Nigeria proud than your Government.
Recognize them appropriately. ( if there could be SANI Abacha road and stadium in Nigeria despite all his loot.....)

The truth which they conveniently seek to avoid is that the more divided Nigeria is along all demographic indices the worse the security situation becomes.

A good leader will try to ensure universal liberties for every citizen, equal rights and privileges then yoi can tap into their inherent patriotism to ensure they donot consume one another but Nigeria right now is so polarised that the so called saying of my brothers keeper is for the birds.

When our leaders cry out about saboteurs, sponsors, etc it is just an admission that how they lead is incorrect. Because I can never imagine a sane man sabotaging what is good and to his own benefit. It is when society is dirty, unjust you have rats running around.

I simply cannot imagine a Japanese citizen sabotaging the Japanese economy or causing mayhem and mass murder in society. For what reason?
Saboteurs only propagate their wishes only where there are breeding grounds for it
PoliticsRe: President Buhari And Service Chiefs In Closed-Door Meeting by mrskillz: 3:01pm On Jan 30, 2020
Reference:
Told you folks in 2014 that it was a big mistake, so what do you call voting him in again last year...

It is clear that capacity is lacking at the very top. Our problems require cerebral solutions, new ways of thinking, new strategies...

I was telling a friend in Portharcourt a few days ago concerning security, that success in creating a secure country is not measured by more checkpoints, more policemen riding shotgun with the rich or more AK's on the streets but exactly the opposite.

Security means freedom of movement 24/7, freedom to conduct business or leisure in any part of the country, freedom from fear of crime... or will you give each tourist or businessman who comes to Nigeria MOPOL escort...?

We must recognise that there are serious structural issues bedevelling this country that simoly cannot be solved by any leader no matter how well meaning until we all sit down and discuss Nigeria first.

I make bold to say this to anyone who cares: President Buhari cannot solve the security problem or any other fundemental question facing Nigeria because he simply does not have the tools to do this.

So change the service chiefs 100 times, place checkpoints at intervals of every linear metre along the streets and highways even if you give every citizen of this country a police guard, yes recruit 180 million policemen, as long as no two Nigerians agree on how they choose to live together as fellow citizens, insecurity will continue to thrive.... No be curse.

Any leader that seeks to succeed in a complex country like Nigeria must first seek to get all her ducks in line, all the citizens he or she leads operating to the maximum patriotic levels possible. And this is only possible when every citizen is signed up to the Nigerian project willingly.

Security simply means that the love I have for my fellow citizen and the solidarity I share with him is far stronger than any other prejudice of race, class, religion, wealth, or any other demographic.

That is called a 'POSITIVE STATE OF THE NATION'.
You have spoken well!!!
Imagine what people say in the open is far reaching and better than what Leaders tell themselves behind the damn closed doors

One day, the door might not be able to close again
