The solutions can be this:

NIGER DELTA MILLITANTS: ground the economy by resuming destruction of pipelines a nd demand for restructuring before any election

SOUTHERNERS AND MIDDLEBELT: Governors of the states should hold meetings every month and speak with one voice. They should Create ranches in their various states and let indigenes only rare cow in the then while enforcing anti open gracing policy. This will put the tyrants out of business.

Religious and opinion leaders should continue to speak against this ill.

It is Benue, Taraba, today, it may be bayelsa, Oyo or Enugu tomorrow if care is not taken

No. President Obama is not a Kenyan citizen. It's somewhat complicated, but here are the basic facts

Since President Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, he is an American citizen by birth. When Obama was born in 1961, Kenya was not a sovereign state but a British overseas possession. Because Obama's father was a citizen of a British colony, Obama had dual American-British colonial citizenship at birth. When Britain granted Kenya its independence in 1963, Obama lost his British colonial citizenship. Technically, he then became a dual citizen of the US and Kenya but he automatically lost his Kenyan citizenship in 1984 when he turned 23. At the time, Kenyan law did not allow adults to hold dual citizenship, and Obama could have kept his Kenyan citizenship only by renouncing his American citizenship and swearing an oath of allegiance to Kenya. He did not do so. Under current Kenyan law, he could apply for and receive Kenyan citizenship because of his late father's citizenship, but I suspect the probability of that happening is pretty low.

Dear Ortom,

Can you prevent flood from eroding a community by fencing it off? No. Because the flood might get fierce and break down the fence. So You create viable channel or alternative for the flood to pass without affecting your community.
That is the analogy.
The governor ought to be smart enough to provide sustainable alternative for the herdsmen in term of ranching.

Bring in investors that will build standard ranches that guarantees enough water, food, security and treatment for the the cows.

Then woo the Influential associations of the cattle rearers to see reasons why the built ranches will guarantee much more productivity and security for their lives and their cows.

Continue to work with the various associations of both farmers and herders by having meeting with them at least every month.

Secure the state boundaries by conducting aerial surveillance by adequately equipping the state police with necessary apparatus.

Form the state vigilante group that works closely with the police. This vigilante group should be well trained home and abroad

Continue to lobby the federal government to strengthen the border security across northern Nigeria.

PoliticsRe: Why Are Well Meaning Nigerians Silent On Fulani Herdsmen Attacks? by mrskillz: 8:15am On Jan 03, 2018
Let’s discuss the challenges and root cause then solutions.

CAUSES:

Climate change: this is making the herdsmen move down south In search of greener pasture and water.

Population Explosion in Northern Nigeria: The fight for scarce resources by both man and the cow gets worse with alarming but untamed increase in the population of both the people and the cow.

Activities of Boko Haram: This has rendered large chunk of land in the North East no go area for the herdsmen for security reasons.

Cross-border Insecurity: Nigeria’s border especially in Northern Nigeria is so porous. This need to be water tight. Government should see how other countries are tackling Cross border infiltration.

Farming Activities along the Age long normadic path of the herdsmen: it’s just like building a house on a road. The Tiv and some others can be fingered in this, because of their style of farming. They practice normadic kind of farming.

Government negligence and Bias and lack of foresight: the government needs to take Kenya as a case study and see how their government get involve.

Multiplicity effect of the above mentioned: the bad blood continues unabated.

Let’s pray we don’t have another BH at hand.

Prevention is better than cure.

Nigeria as a whole can't be fixed.

You and your Ethnic group can fix yourselves but not Nigeria as a whole.

That is why I belief Ethnic Groups like the Igbos should band together and workout their solutions rather than wait for the whole country.

The Igbos should find a system that can sustain them outside Abuja influence.

It is easier for 4 ethnic groups to come to an agreement than 250 ethnic groups.

Do you think it is only the Hausa Fulani people that oppose resource control.?

Don't you know that Yorubas and many Christian ethnic groups up North also oppose Resource Control.

How can Nigeria grow when most ethnic groups don't have faith outside SS/SE oil & gas.
There is more crude oil in SW than SE

Blame Tinubu, Osibanjo, Fashola who shouted true federalism, resource control and state police when they were in opposition but have gotten power, rather than impose this solutions on Buhari and his cabals or abandon the administration are contented with crumbs of political appointment which will only last but for a season.

futurism:
You only ended up proofing one thing: Yorubas have no balls to challenge the status quo. They have no courage chart a new course, They don't have the faith in trying something new by another approach...

Insanity is doing same thing over and over again and expecting a different result--unknown.

Yorubas are NOTHING but the mole in the south as far as the future of this country is concerned. The day yoruba will decide to challenge the Status quo, challenge the North... is the day this country will move forward and the North put where they belong.
This is the typical mindset of every Igbo man. They know the west will have to lead the challenge of the Northern Oligarchy, but they are too selfish to support them, too arrongant and boastful to let them see reason in a civil way.

What am saying is, until they change their style of approach, the domination they so much loathe, will continue unabated

Igbo people are strong willed, hardworking , adventurous people that always have their eyes only on success, yes financial success. But why are they not successful politically in Nigeria? I believe they need to first of all neglect their past ordeals and focus squarely on the future. Independence and slavery starts from the mind. They must come together has one and see themselves as a country in a country. They need to tell themselves; let’s work and sweat together as if we are a country- a country without no crude oil resources. Let us develop an enviable culture, of humility, respect for the elders and one another and being our brother’s keeper. Let our children speak and bear Igbo names. Let us build a great headquarter that will rival Abuja or Lagos in the next 20years by charging our governors to collectively contribute towards this. The governors should collectively raise fund to build a dry sea port instead of waiting forever on the federal government to help. Let us shun all act of hatred. We need the West and other neighbors to realize our dream. Let us love them. Be happy about their own progress and be sober during their grievance. They will love us us too in return. That way, they will support us and rally round us also. Don’t forget, a tree can never make a forest. Let us speak the truth at all time, regardless of whose axe is to be grounded.
