Yep, But also that has always been Jose's style. Always keeps a small squad of players anyway but we just havent had that ype of luck with injuries. I would really like to see him lose lots of important players for long spells and see how they cope as well.

I have to credit LvG because he's picked up maximum points from the last 6 when I criticised him for doing very badly pointswise with the first 6 of the season despite injuries. The injury excuse simply doesnt wash. Points on the board is what is expected so I wasnt going to exempt him from the criticism due to that.

DDG, What else can we say about this kid. Even though Liverpool were terrible with their finishing, He definitely had to make those saves and not many keepers would have done so. So happy for him because the defenders in front of him are a complete and utter car crash. They are all disasters. I really feel for DDG that he has to be overworking because they the defenders in front of him, if they arent getting injured, they're making stupid mistakes and just being generally woeful. We must have the worst performing defenders in the top 6.

Happy Rooney and RvP are getting the goals but we really need Falcao to get mins as we'll need him in the 2nd half of the season.

Finally, Fellaini should not be a Man utd player.

3 points. Cant complain about that. Soton always dominate us at their place. Even when rvp scored a hattrick 2 years ago they dominated us and should have won that game. So i'm pleased. I still think the 352 has to go and as long as the injury situation gets better the performances must improve. Really hope lvg keeps u his fergie style luck. A great quality of great managers.

Poor first half from us. Fella has been exposed. He's an awful passer for a midfielder. Cant really say anything good about any of the players to be honest. This 352 is killing us in my opinion. LvG needs to change it although with the injuries. Needs must. Not happy with LvG at all.

This type of weekends used to happen a lot under SAF, most of our rivals would drop points and we would take advantage. I really hope LvG can do the same.

On another note, Welbeck's goal just shows how tough making those save DDG made against Arsenal can be even when they seem to be close to you.

SailorXY's formation is what I would go with. I also don't think we would have shipped in 4goals with that formation. Maybe we could have reverted to the 352 formation when shaw got injured. That would have been understandable, not starting with it.

Di Maria actually helped out defensively today. Although Arsenal were chasing the game, but we looked better when we reverted to 4 at the back with Blackett Smalling McNair and valencia with fletching covering, even though we were under pressure we seemed to have been able to work the ball out more comfortably for a counter.

Its unfortunate Rooney was called off and Di Maria fluffed that chance, there were other times we broke out and caused them problems.

The 352 is new and the players are not exactly comfy with it. It shows in there lack of belief when in possession.

This win just makes the formation look good cause its our first away win and we did it at Arsenal.

We take each game as it comes and hope the injury situation gets better. No point looking at a stretch of games.

They are all tough matches.

As much as I'm not happy about the international break, I hope its a chance for some of these injured players to return. The likes of Falcao, Evans,Jones, Rafael in particular, Who all seem to have weird unspecified injuries. We really need to be pushing on from here now.

Do we even know the nature of Rafael's injury? Or is it one of those Rafa/Fabio specific injurys?

I'm also hearing it may be Blind and McNair as our CB today.
