truth be told....he's a very good midfielder. if he can stay fit, he would be a wonderful asset in our midfield. as fans, we tend to underrate any player moving from a PL club to man utd. if this dude plays for PSG, bayern or juventus, we would be screaming for his signature.

he's better than kondogbia in my opinion & i would give hands & knees for sign kondogbia. if we cannot get any of pogba or vidal, any of schneiderlin or alex song is perfectly fine by me.

While song is a pretty good player. I really dont agree he is good enough for what we want. Plus he has the tendency to do stupid things on the pitch.

As much as I would love us to sign Morgan Schneiderlin, probably just rumours as we'll be linked with over 100 players.

Yeah but I would expect them to improve that this summer. As long as they dont lose any of their attackers, they should be fine.

LVG demoted van bommel when he saw that he wasn't up to the required material again. if he could take penalty rights away from rooney then you can bet he would relegate him to the bench if he could.

rooney can never win anything for united as the main man. it will never happen. rooney of 6 years ago is so much different from the rooney of this season. he has become united's albatross - a monumental liability!

I do agree with that, I just dont think LvG will agree with you.

LVG has to be a morön to even make any of RVP/rooney a lead striker next season. we won't win a spoon if we don't get a world class striker this summer.

LvG has made Rooney the captain. Do you think we'll have a new captain next season? I'm talking realistically here.
I absolutely do not want to see Rooney as a number 10 or in midfield. I'll be happy to be proved wrong but unless you're advocating Rooney being sold which isnt realistic and wont happen then I dont see how you want to play Rooney next season if you buy a new striker.

This is my rationale.
Ideally, I would like a new world class striker but that isnt going to happen because Rooney has to play ( according to LvG). I can only accept Rooney in the starting lineup as a number 9. I dont like it when he plays anywhere else.

For that to happen, RvP knows he must now accept a place on the bench as the sub for Rooney upfront. Wilson either on loan or enters the rotation with either.

Our game has been awful. One of the worst matches I've seen in a while.

Would love Morgan Scheiderlin (sp?) but he doesnt seem to be on our radar which is a shame. But someone of that ilk would be perfect.

Finally all depends on Di Maria. I hope he stays for a 2nd season as i truly believe he'll improve and be more consistent after settling in Manchester. I really think it'll be a big mistake to sell him. However, if he decides he cant settle in England then I guess we would have to go balls out for Bale and lose DDG to Real Madrid which isnt bad but also isnt great.

I'm actually happy to go into the season with Rooney, RVP and Wilson as our strikers as we'll mostly start one at any one time.

Massive 3 points. Injuries just finishing us sha. Shaw never got any injuries at Southampton but now at man utd injut every 2 games. Rooney and smalling also injured. I like Blind but he simply isn't defensively aware in his play. Was always going to be a tough game at Palace so nice to get the 3 points.

On the issue of whether we need another AM?The answer is self explanatory.Earlier in the season,we were atrocious in the back,we were conceding goals left,right and centre As the season progressed it has now become a case of not conceding much but not scoring lately.I hope you do remember that we have not scored a goal in our last 3 EPL Games and you talk about creativity that our AM's have.which AM exactly are you referring to?
For all of Herrera's skills and technique, I dnt see him as a grade A(Tier 1) AM....Like say someone like David Silva,Iniesta,Scholes or Fabregas..He is okay but he is not top, top class.Even Di Maria has been creatively better than Herrera this season and he spends more time on the bench.Mata has been pushed to the wide right position and the least said about Rooney in midfield,the better..so I ask again which "loads of creative AM's are you referring to?If we had loads of creative AM's we would not fail to score goals in the last 3 games.This is because there is no creativity to unlock teams that have parked the bus against us or maybe you are referring to having 80% possesion of the ball without penetration and passing,passing,passing as having loads of creative AM's.
My Pal,there is no creativity in our midfield or wings,not for now.That is why we have gotten Depay and I am sure LVG will get one DM and one top class AM at the most this summer and we will address these issues

Well for me, a lot has to do with balance. If the Strikers and defence are solid enough Mata,Herera and Di Maria is enough to unlock most defences. Our best performances have come when the team was well balanced. Its important that Herrera and Di Maria continue to improve after the first season in a new league and I'm hopefuly they'll improve next season. Depay will hopefully bring added pace and more goals from the middle or wide positions so I'm really not continue we need that much more in attack apart from a Striker to replace Falcao. The Focus needs to be on bringing in a CB, RB and Defensive midfielder/Deep lying playmaker and a striker. that's it in my opinion.

Why does buying a DM mean we need another creative AM? we have loads in thee AM department. And to be fair Balance is important in a squad so I dont really see the issue here.

Carrick missing the rest of the season is a huge loss. Definitely need a defensive midfielder/deep lying playmaker this summer. We simply cannot rely on an increasingly injury prone 34 yr old no matter how important to the team he is.
