Allow them to cry about it. They have to hold onto any percieved weakness they see in Man utd when they have nothing to celebrate themselves. Better players than Rooney has left man utd. When will these people learn that its Fergie that is the essence of man utd not Rooney? When he leaves then I will worry but any players leaving? Never.

SAF said he considered him for preseason but the preseason squad was getting too big and thought not to take him. but he was very close. I'll be surprised if he doesnt make atleast a handful of first team appearances this coming season.

I'm abit jealous of City signing Aguero. We really need a top midfielder to add to the squad.

Hargreaves was just bad luck. Played a full season very well for us and then it all went down hill after that.

I'm sorry but the bookings thing with tiote is an issue.a lot of them were picked up for very very brainless acts which can become a liability at the highest level.we were willing ton put up with it with Scholes,but he's gone now so no need to keep chalking up the bookings and playing with a liability, part of Makelele's talent was avoiding silly bookings. Plus he's good player but really not that good.

Im warming to the idea of Nasri as the rumours arent going away. Doesnt mean we'll get him but i sense there is atleast a chance otherwise we wouldnt even bid for him. Although, I maintain we need a more Modric type of midfielder not a necessarily a Nasri type of attacker but obviously I'll take either. Nasri is still only 24 so when Real Madrid come calling we can sell on for £60M+
