Well the formation change under Amorim has made us look structured and like a team that is being coached at least. Though it might also expose the quality of the players.

We need someone like Amad that knows how to press, collect the ball, and guard it upfront. If we can get someone else to join Amad who is not selfish like Garnacho, our attack will improve a lot. Transfer window opens in 3 weeks. I hope Amorim has identified one or two targets

I'm not sure we can realistically sign anyone in January unless we're able to get some good money from sales. We probably need a left wingback as a priority though. At most we'll sign 1 player in January but I think its more likely the club wait for summer. The bank account is not looking healthy for the club at the moment.

There's no way Yoro should be playing his first competitive game for us as a start away at Arsenal. I would expect the coaching staff to ease him in.
I think I'd rather your lineup with Maguire in the middle. MDL can play the RCB with Maz as LCB because Arsenal's Right side is their main attacking strength with Odegaard and Saka attacking from there. Either way, I just dont want a hammering because I still see signs that we susceptible to giving up some easy chances and a good team would punish us severely.

Seems like we might have to rollout Evans again. Not sure how sharp Maguire's fitness is but him or Evans defending that left side of the 3 man defence against Saka sounds like a disaster.

I'd prefer we finish as close as possible to top 4, than to compromise a decent finish in the league for some competition in which, by any stretch of imagination, we cant be considered as favorites to win

I think it's easier to even topple the likes of Brighton and co in the league than to think of eliminating teams like Lazio, Ajax and Sevilla

I dont know if its good enough but its a cup competition so with a bit of luck on any given day anything can happen.

Why is it that when we count league titles we include pre Premier league era but when it comes to record and stats we only count EPL. Champions league/European Cup counts both. They didn't start counting stats and trophies from when it was rebranded to Champions league.
