The issue with the team has nothing to do with the 343 formation. Switching formation isn't going to change things for the squad.

I think there is too much emphasis on system. Ultimately good players adapt. There no buying good players for just a system. As long as you buy good players. Liverpool have VVD, Konate, Gomez and Quansah for example. All fast athletic CBs who can defend wide areas but also in a high line. You're telling me they wouldnt be able to play with 3 at the back? Apart from Yoro ( Who is still only 18)where are the fast athletic CBs at United that can cover wide areas?

Amorim said in one of his first interviews he was surprised by the fitness level of the squad and also the lack of football understanding of the squad. This is obvious. This is not a good squad of players. The reality as Amorim said is expect lots of pain because he has to try to get these guys to do the basics of football well. And its nothing to do with system or formation. But I guess we'll see.

What best players? We need to accept that this squad of players are shit. This is a mid table squad that has proven it. I promise you good players can play any system. Majority of these guys are just not good enough. Just because they're expensively assembled doesn't mean they're good enough.

I just dont see a situation where Musiala will leave Bayern for Man utd. Feels like we have just as much chance of signing Mbappe from Real Madrid.

I think Musiala is more robust and PL ready than Wirtz. Musiala also seems more creative while Wirtz seems more like he prefers to get at the end of things even though he can also be creative.

I know I said Musiala is more robust but I can also see him getting more injuries in the PL because he dribbles a lot more and those thuggish players in EPL will just be chopping down his ankles.

I'm one of those that absolutely still loves Rashford but if Amorim is saying all this in the very short time he has been at the club then he absolutely needs to leave the club asap.

We are also forgetting Malacia. I've liked the look of him in that LWB role even though he's not fully fit yet. I see him displacing Dalot from that role if he keeps improving his fitness as the season progresses.

Malacia is too limited in attacking quality.
