I can't stand anyone defending Amorim currently. Moyes went to Everton who were relegation contenders and in 8 games won 4, draw 2 and lost 2. That's the same amount of wins Amorim has in 15games at United which includes embarrassing Home defeats and you all think it's just the players. He has underperformed badly even with this current crop of players.

I cant defend Amorim. The league table from when he started the job till now shows him at 17th place over the 15 games.

I dont know if I can trust the people who decided he was a good idea to hire the next manager. or if they same people who wined and dined a DoF only to sack him within a few months after having to pay conpensation to sign him. Make all of them get out.

The hiring and firing thing is a common practice even at the most successful clubs in the world and it in no way undermines the competency of those at the helm of affairs there

Of course context needs to be applied. if the hires keep failing questions will be asked. If Madrid keeps hiring a Carlos Queiroz types. Questions would be asked about who is making those decisions. Not so much for hiring and sacking Jose Mourinho after his 3rd year.

Successful club dons in Europe usually prioritise permanent interests of the club over relationships and sentiments - they seldom give endless excuses for underperforming managers like we do here, neither do they advocate that the fans "suffer endlessly"

That's not correct because Bradley replaced Trent as a sub. Thry werent on the pitch together. Trent was subbed few mins after the goal for Bradley. Trent was still playing RB when he scored. Thats not to say Rashford should be tracking Trent or not.

Depends on your definition of failure and success. You want someone that would be here for a long term, average term for a manager is 3 years with 2-3 trophies until they mess up or move on. Gone are the days of Alex Fergie spending 10-20 years at a club with consistent great performances.

Lol. I havent said anything about long term. Are the club happy with the managers they have been hiring? Have they been a success? Why do they keep firing them if they have all been a success?

There is no wrong manager. It’s always a gamble. If it does not work, we move on. Very few managers are right managers with guarantees. E.g. Pep. If you can’t get such managers, you keep hiring and firing.

So why all man utd gambles failing?
