Calling 767 or 112 (Lagos state emergency lines) is reliable. There have been good testimonials about their response time.

from the picture code they did carry placards
Are those in the picture the "25 Islamic clerics"? Please let's be objective. The photograph and the body of the story do not match. The "Islamic clerics" would be men, probably advanced in age, not some teenage girls. The picture relates to another story, but the writer felt the need to bring in the picture for lack of pictures of the current story.

EducationRe: Muslim Clerics At Osun School To Enforce Hijab On School Girls by mrteee: 11:31am On Jun 21, 2016
blackbartee:
I don't know on whose claim you are on but either way if they don't want to be bias why do they have have to take to the streets just after the Christians and the atheists started dressing equivalently, what's pricking them..... this issue of hijab thing to some extent is just an individual decision at most times at least I could remember a school that hijab was brought into the picture all because the current principal happens to be a muslim and the school has been existing for up to 30years without such an issue surfacing, it is obvious that there is an islamization agenda going on and we don't have to act naive to this show of shame
1. They did not "take" to the streets, and it was not in response to Christians and atheists reaction. Check the post's heading, it clearly states that they went to a particular whose principal claimed to be unaware of a court ruling granting the muslim girls right to wear hijab. You make it seem as if they took placards and what not and paraded the streets. You need not sensationalize stories to make your point.

2. The hijab being worn in schools does not cover/hide/camouflage the school uniform. It on covers the head, neck and upper bossom regions. It is just like a head covering like the beret and hats used by some schools. The uniforms are still intact from the chest region down, unlike the pics we saw of 'christian' students who wore complete robes over the school uniforms. It was laughable to say the least.

3. If you agree that wearing of hijab is a personal thing, why are you getting your knickers twisted over it? Does it threaten you? Someone posted a picture of U.S. President Barack Obama talking cheerfully with a little girl in hijab in a US school, he doesn't seem to be threatened. Also, I posted a picture of Michelle Obama at a school in the UK, where a good number of the girls wore hijab, and she doesn't seem to be threatened either.

4. A popular adage says "people are afraid of what they don't understand". I think Christians need to seek better understanding of Islam so that the fears that some selfish leaders have fed them with may be dispelled.

Peace.

the fact that its not osun state high school or ansarudeen salaudeen or something of some sorts debunks ur claim, so whether it is funded by the state government or not, tge fact remains its a christian school and as far as I'm concerned Christians should also have their claims.... this hijab thing is not supposed to be a do or die thing
Wow. Clap for yourself.
You, my dear sir, are obviously ignorant of the facts on ground, and someone corrects you but you still insist on holding on to the wrong position?
Once again, clap for yourself. You have done well.

It is worrying the trend we notice these days, where our young (and not-so-young) people are comfortable with going with social media "news". The need to study and research on subjects is so alien to them, that most are too lazy to read a 5-page newsletter talk less of reading a book. It's sad. A nation that does not read is on it's way to ruin. Just like the Bible says "my people perish, for a lack of wisdom (knowledge)".

This method is for pussiys....the best thing to do is to look for a close and drive in untill you get to the end of the street..make sure it is an isolated one...of they are still following you using reverse mode..quickly jam the care from the front or better still side to disarm and confuse the intruders..then pistol in hand come out and quickly shoot the driver and other occupants of the vehicle..head or chest shot is better..one the are dead, take their phones and wallet to track their senders and set the care on fir while driving away fast and smoking a cigarette...get a cool beer afterwards cool

EducationRe: Photos Of Osun Students In Church Garments by mrteee: 5:25pm On Jun 14, 2016
wadetaw202:
You are right. Nigerian Muslims are known to wear traditional and cultural dresses of people from the middle east. And because you nigerian Muslims are mentally backward, you now link the garments to religion; whereas, there is no link between hijab and Islam. Hijab is the cultural and traditional way of dressing of Arabians.
Such ignorance on display, and to make it worse, you proclaim your ignorance with no self-awareness whatsoever.
Your statement "nigerian Muslims are mentally backward" exhibits the low flatulence level of your faculty. While your assertion that "there is no link between hijab and Islam" shows that you know next to nothing of Islam and Muslims.

The cure for ignorance is learning. Sound knowledge (on a subject) before making a comment is recommended before you injure yourself.

What the hell were Nigerians thinking when they voted buhari into power and expected him to change an economy in this modern timehuh
They just gave buhari access to presidential medical facilities for the next 4 years.
I agree with you. Choosing between a man with the defects you listed above and an incredibly ineffectual buffoon who barely merited the post of a ward councillor was not too hard to guess where the pendulum would swing. Nigerians were left with little choice.
However, prepare for 2019. Keep your PVC safe and promote, or better still, be a better candidate.

PoliticsRe: Buhai Reacts To David Cameron's Statement About Nigeria by mrteee: 5:02pm On May 11, 2016

Think deep.

His response is a disguised slap to Cameron and UK. It's like saying " our looters and corrupt politicians wouldn't have succeeded in looting the Treasury blind if you didn't provide them the platform to keep their loots; an accomplice to corruption is also guilty of corruption".

Apology will not undo what Cameron said because it's the truth. The thing is, no leader is expected to disparage another country especially one you claim to be partnering with on the same course.

So, PMB is 100% correct with his response.

Did you see the thunderous applause that greeted his reaction?

Watch it bro.
Thanks bro, for lending the unfortunate poster a little common sense. Thank you thank you thank you.

Well yes, its true that the President "agreed" to take loan from world bank. Its also true that the President signed a powerful agreement with China that will limit the use of dollars in trade. So u can see why the west will not be happy with this. its really common sense. Nigeria's focus is shifting away from America's greek gift.

Ask yourself why the sudden interest in what happens to Nigeria. what is the reason for this write up?? Since all these years of our real challenges, the west never even knew where Nigeria is on the map. Now that we are no longer solely dependent on them, they have started with their cock and bull stories. the sole purpose of this ridiculous write up is to discourage investors from Nigeria, its not because they like u!
True that. I read a one story in one UK newspaper (online) about a kidnap case in Warri, Delta State, and the newspaper attributed it to boko haram, and I was like "WTF?!! Which slowpoke wrote this story? BH in Warri? what nonsense.
