PoliticsRe: South Africa Defies Nigeria On Nigerian Soil by mrtidy(m): 5:55pm On Mar 08, 2011
@Ajanlekoko
True talk

See how we're screaming over spilled milk, The days of Nigeria's greatness are history. let those who hold the light shine forth. Nigeria is in the dark and the earlier we do something to come out the better rather than grovelling over lost glory

CelebritiesRe: Oprah Winfrey Fired Cousin For ‘talking About Jesus’ by mrtidy(m): 7:22pm On Mar 05, 2011
I hate to be supersticious but Oprah poses to be a free thinker, why hate someone for religious association?
PoliticsRe: Inec Seeks Additional N45.39bn For 2011 Poll by mrtidy(m): 2:56pm On Jan 02, 2011
Jega was hailed as "credible election" himself but with 87 billion to be spent on election and even going further to ask for more, how is this different from the status quo? or is inec another House of Assembly?, that kind of money would only make a man want more money rather than delivering credible election!!!!!!!!!!!!

PoliticsRe: 2011 Poll : Jonathan, Ibb Talks End In Stalmate by mrtidy(m): 1:33pm On Aug 30, 2010
na_so:
That will not be a wise move my friend. IBB has already declared his intention and any attempt to use some process that will not be so easy to prove  to stop him, will definitely be challenged in court and IBB has a bright chance of winning at the courts(at least for now), because the process of proving IBB guilty will be a long one, and the courts will restrain the FG from taking further action pending the determination of the suit.

Secondly it will give IBB that posture of someone  GEJ is too afraid to meet at the polls and that will not be good for GEJ.

The battle field presenlty is the PDP primaries and there is no evidence anywhere that IBB has a better chance than GEJ to clinch the PDP ticket.

GEJ is only trying to talk IBB to step down so that the PDP can approach the general elections with a united front. I am not totally sure GEJ will get the PDP ticket, but I am very sure he will stop IBB from emerging.
Na so brother I agree with you my fear is the primaries cos the north so want a Northern president at any cost whether credible or not and if GJ is smart he could opt out of PDP at the slightest indication of failure at the primaries. I believe as a flag bearer the West East and South would be able to give him the victory at the main elections
PoliticsRe: Government Officials Pay Tithes To Pdp ! by mrtidy(m): 1:24pm On Aug 30, 2010
I hail all 'em tithers. Someday real politicians who know the meaning of the word "SERVICE" will be in office, So unfortunate the coming of that day is obscure
Car TalkRe: China's Future Bus by mrtidy(m): 4:09pm On Aug 11, 2010
Wow, That's absolutely amazing and from the look of the model its a well thought out tech. no where near impossible. the huge size of that bus tells that they are not meant to make turns like smaller vehicles except in stations which of course would have enough space for such manoevre. if a smaller vehicle underneath it needs to make a turn it only needs to wait for the bus to drive ahead and follow traffic lights (and rules) as usual.

tpiah:
so, because you can now type on the internet, you're of the opinion the insurance companies do not send experts to assess the genuineness or otherwise of claims presented? huh
I've seen people like you alot and know how to deal with them. I'll ignore the insult and ask you to re-read you post about going to court 98 percent of the time before paying claims, if they have experts with unbiased assesment why go to court 98 percent of the time? I want to believe you either partly own or work for one of those s**t holes that parade themselves as insurance houses.
PropertiesRe: I Live In Lekki by mrtidy(m): 9:23pm On Jul 19, 2010
tpiah:
^^if you were running an insurance company in nigeria, would you pay up without a court case 98% of the time? huh

nigerians are suddenly angels because you want to make a point, abi.
I bet you'll like to visit the court while signing the policies, are they suppose to go to court to pay up or send experts to assess genuity of damage and pay up when necessary? if you have a way of making it better suggest rather than covering up their shit, And yes those that pay their premiums without getting nothing are angels here and screw the damn companies!!!

and care to share what makes them failures? huh

the fact that they're based in a country with a lot of lawless citizens?

or are they failures because you personally never had insurance when you were in nigeria.
we are about a 150million right? and most probably 70 percent of that are withing the age of 18-65 and out of that 70 percent (105million) 10 or even 5 percent (5 million) has insurance/assurance policiencies. How many people do you know or have heard of that the so called companies have paid back without court cases?

try to get hold of the person and ask them.
I sure will

and for those asking for insurance companies, I know a couple that I can't say cos though they exist how many properties or lives have they been able to replace according to their policies, they are all failures just like most institutions in Nigeria, Don't get me wrong I see the light at the end of the tunnel

I live in Lekki and its a beautiful environment, ocean views, good air, and wonder architectural designs, why dont you paste some pictures of New Orleans, USA ? I don't think you should hate the wealthy class, you mock yourself in doing that.
You'd agree that just because there are good things about the area doesnt mean we can't talk about it flaws, understand that we have a govt and offices that are suppose to set standards for environmental designs
PoliticsRe: Wear T-shirts With ‘police’ Inscription And Go To Jail by mrtidy(m): 7:35pm On Jul 19, 2010
So unfortunate for us to call some set of idiots members of a FORCE!!! first it was okada now its T-shirt after indescent dressing what's next, Its a crime to look at a police man, it destracts him from executing his duties
PropertiesRe: I Live In Lekki by mrtidy(m): 7:24pm On Jul 19, 2010
That's horrible
come to think of a nation where insurance is inexistence and where it does is best described as a scam.
Imagine the loss due to negligence, And those freak at the planning office would be after your ass if you mould a block!!!!!
TV/MoviesRe: Igbos In Wolverine by mrtidy(m): 12:02pm On Mar 15, 2010
We are in the movies yes, but are we being portrayed as the Brilliant Legitimate Intelligent Nigerians with Great attitude that we are or as HOOKERS and CROOKS from some creepy FOURTH WORLD COUNTRY?! We should be careful what we celebrate. In DISTRICT 9 we're portrayed as hookers and hustlers, in XMEN we're portrayed as villagers engaged in stone trafficking, and in AVATAR we're just some remote part of the universe that some punk ass commander went for mission. so what's worth celebrating in all these?!!!
PoliticsRe: Senate Excludes Military Rulers From New Presidential Pension Scheme by mrtidy(m): 12:38pm On Mar 12, 2010
beeke:
Can u just give me one reason why your god will be happy, sometimes i lack words to express how sad i feel when 9gerians celebrate mediocrity a bill dat got absolutely noting to do with the welfare of the hungry masses of 9ja, after 4 or 8 years of looting billions of naira awarding contract to themselves without doing a thing, take OBJ as a case study

OBJ wokeup one day and decided that 9ja should have NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION CARD billions of naira was approved for this project we all know wot happened up until now the dishonorable thieving moneybag members of NA neva ask any questions and the claim to represent you and i

OBJ pump in billions in the energy sector without any tangible result to show for it

how about our road network from 1999 to 2003 OBJ spent billions on roads rehab and networking but we all know how deplorable our roads are, our health sector is a grave yard dat why if any of the ITT sneezes twice he or she is on the next available flight to europe for medical attention look at our education a country were noting is working instead of making laws for the masses they are busy making laws that will enable them to loot and loot and continue looting, after reaping us off we still be paying them retirement benefit what a shame, nigerians are still deep in slumber. one thing i know is that my God is not happy and neither is he sleeping becos a change will take place in that nation called 9geria God himself will master mind that change and when it happens our politicians will only have one thing in their minds FEAR
Beeke bro you just said it all.
Its so disheartening the level of mediocrity rocking this country and the leaders are actually aware, else how would a so called president or even govnor travel over 500km to commision a .5km road tarred with the worst materials!!!!! and of course we hail that as an achievement and even call some of them VISI :oNARIES!!!
SportsRe: FIFA to Scrap Offside Rule? by mrtidy(m): 2:44pm On Mar 05, 2010
I don't think scrapping off side would be confusing for players but the goal keepers its gon take a while for them goal keepers to adjust.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Orders Probe Into 'brutal Bus Robbery' On The Lagos-benin Highway by mrtidy(m): 2:28pm On Mar 05, 2010
its so sad that a bunch of bench warmers are sELECTED into our national assembly, Bleep the police!!!!!! Nigeria will be safer without them. now the buzz word "PROBE" is on again tell me what will happen to whatever report if any that would be presented to the House.

PoliticsRe: Haiti: BBC Traces Scam Computer To Nigeria by mrtidy(m): 1:59pm On Feb 19, 2010
We all should stop lying to ourselves we all know we rank amongst the highest scammers in the world. we should be thinking of ways to help clean our dirty act rather whinning about our name being mentioned. there's hardly any cyber cafe you visit today that you don't see one yahoo boy or girl!!!
PoliticsRe: Dora Rejects Aondoakaa's Apology by mrtidy(m): 1:37pm On Feb 16, 2010
Let her use him as a scape goat. he's got to formally and properly apologize or face a legal action. While the lesson is going on let others learn
PoliticsRe: What Will Become Of Soludo? by mrtidy(m): 1:05pm On Feb 10, 2010
Soludo is very popular with his merger deed and a lot of nigerians including anambrarians like and are proud of him enough to make him win an election as a governor but he sure mixed up with the wrong crowd. PDP is criminal from conception/founding, criminal in operations and criminal in administration anyone who associates with PDP is 100% sure to be perceived as a criminal. Soludo's failure however unfortunate for the man is a true sign that Nigerian voters know what they want.
PoliticsRe: Support Rally For Yardua by mrtidy(m): 1:25pm On Feb 05, 2010
sometimes I wonder if those that claim to support Yar'Adua has ever seen a copy of the 1999 constitution and if they actually have then does it not say that the vice president is suppose to act in the absence of the president? or are they saying that the president has not been absent?

Emeka should go to Onitsha Market and start a business instead adding to the already horrible international image of Nigeria or does he think the world is not watching?
Jokes EtcRe: Nollywood Movies In 32 Lines: by mrtidy(m): 12:37pm On Feb 05, 2010
Our problem is we are always looking for excuses for our shortcomings or should it be shortsightedness. we wonna blame our worse than crappy movies on budget, what they're already spending on these craps called home videos is enough to make good "entertainment" if they actually have good story tellers and directors who wouldnt trade quality for the female waist or the rush to saturate the market in hope of making money from plenty. A couple of weeks ago the same old story of "frog turned prince" was in the US Box office, that tells you that how a story is told matters more than the story itself.
PoliticsRe: Dora Akunyuli Asks Yardua To Step Down! by mrtidy(m): 11:05am On Feb 05, 2010
For Dora that's one real bold step she's taken and if others could follow suite that would be nice rather than giving handshakes behind closes doors.
And as for Jonathan I wouldnt blame him for his passiveness remember he swore an oath and he's not to betray the big boss else he would be charged for treason. Don't hold me for it but I strongly believe that Jonathan has his plans and would act at the right time. The Northerners are just trying to play with time waiting for Yar'Adua to die and raise fuse about him not handing over so therefore another election should be held for the number one seat, More Nigerian backwardness!!!!!!!!
PoliticsRe: South Africa Request Nigerian Teachers by mrtidy(m): 1:25pm On Oct 27, 2009
I have said it before, this man who poses himself as Education minister knows nothing about the job, He's better off working in rices farm back home at Ebonyi, What a disgrace to education!!!!!!!!!!!
