Travel / Re: Relocating To Calabar: Any Tips? by msanda(m): 6:18am On Dec 25, 2007 |
wany: Wany? Thanks for that! I was wondering if the city was somewhere in Hawaii (no offence meant) or something. Ok, yeah, Calabar must be great but the kudos where reeeeally going wild? I was beginning to really think I ought to relocate! |
Career / Re: How Well Do You Like Your Job? by msanda(m): 7:32pm On Dec 03, 2007 |
Love my job? I hated my bank job for six months - then I quit - and went to sit at home. For two months. That was probably the scariest time of my life of my life (kids, do not try this at all! ) Now, I have a job that is near perfect. It fits practically all the criteria I had for my dream job. And more! |
Romance / Who Hurts More/longer? by msanda(m): 7:15pm On Nov 04, 2007 |
So much for the theory that guys are made of stone and babes of butter. I personally believe that guys have much deeper emotions that girls do, and when it's over, you guys (girls) sure move along much faster__ __ at least for naija! PS: I hate feelin wot am feelin. I promise me neva to feel dis again! |

Computers / Re: Microsoft Vista - A Serious Pain In My Rear by msanda(m): 6:57pm On Nov 04, 2007 |
Floomer99: It's not that bad. Really, I think Microsoft's best OS so far is still Windows XP Media Edition. However, they outdid themselves with Vista's Windows Explorer. Still, I'd rather have Windows than LINUX or Mac |
Romance / Re: My Special Friend Keeps Lying To Me! by msanda(m): 6:37pm On Nov 04, 2007 |
Babe, get real. The guy doesn't think u are "just friends". He wants mo' but he's either foolin' himself that he's in control of his emotions or he's just too chicken to ask for it (he probably thinks he aint got a chance - considering the other guys u gist with on the phone) What should u do? Simple. Be kind to a brova. If u really don't want to go further, cut him loose now. Completely. He can't handle the "just friends" thingy and you'll only hurt him more by holding on. However, if u think u like him enuff, c'mon__ Give the brova a chance, please? |
Romance / Re: What Kind Of Lover Are You? by msanda(m): 7:33pm On Oct 30, 2007 |
chychy: Chychy, Daaaaarling! U sound like my i-deal! Me. I'm protective but not crowding. As a matter of fact, a previous girlfriend once told me she'd need me to be a lil' jealous so she can be sure I cared. But I do care. In many, many, many ways. |
TV/Movies / Re: Writers: Abeg Help Nollywood! by msanda(m): 7:24pm On Oct 30, 2007 |
Seun: Believe me. I know for certain that we can do much better than the stuff we see, especially on African Magic! We have produced some stuff before, if only occasionally. If u consider the writers of the old Checkmate (that made RMD so popular), as well as the fact that Nigeria has produced some great novelists and storywriters in the past few decades, am sure we can come out with a grade A blockbuster. Preferably not some "action" movie, though! |

TV/Movies / Writers: Abeg Help Nollywood! by msanda(m): 7:26pm On Oct 29, 2007 |
I'm sure we all know the nigerian movie industry is like the 3rd largest in the world. It's not totally unmerited. We have great actors, and other good aspects (can't think of too many right now, sadly ) So wots d problem? Why is it difficult for any intelligent young person to sit down to enjoy a Nollywood production and actually get up with genuine satisfaction at a story well told? Two things: Daft story lines and rushed production. We may not be able to do much about the second point but I know for a fact that we have extremely good script writers amongst us. So puleeze! You guys should bl**dy come up with some good stories and start sendin em to Nollywood@Alaba.come! |

1. Sharp guy + Dumb girl = one nite stand 2. Sharp girl + Dumb guy = marriage 3. Dumb guy + Dumb girl = baby 4. Sharp guy + Sharp girl = affair I did the last option. Now the affair is over, but damn! I feel like taking option 2! |
Romance / Re: What Does Your Zodiac Sign Say U Re, Read Mine? by msanda(m): 7:02pm On Oct 29, 2007 |
I'm a Crab and like someone described moi. When it comes to love, we chill, we seem inactive, harmless, almost dead, but move near, get close enuff, then we strike! We seize ur heart and cling on. You won't, you can't escape the grip. But it's ok, it's fun being loved by a Cancer, believe me, I know (I've loved and been loved by one- heck I'm one) |

Computers / Microsoft Vista - A Serious Pain In My Rear by msanda(m): 7:49pm On Oct 23, 2007 |
I dunno wot ur experience has been like but i seriously wonder wot dem windows boys had in mind when they were comin up with Vista. They removed all the fun tweaks Xp had, u got to authorise ridiculous things like copying to an external h/disk, and i can't install my favourite games (tombraider, chess, etc) The only thing I'll give it up to them for is_ windows explorer. it's much more robust, i av to say. but pls! wot are they tryin to do? capture linux users and get rid of windows loyalists? i mean they outrightly copied some stuff from apple and redhat! Anyways in spite of it all, am annoyingly gettin used to d features in explorer. how abt u guys? |

Romance / Re: Ten Most Dangerous Mistakes You Probably Make With Women by msanda(m): 4:54pm On Sep 15, 2007 |
@iice Point II doesn't mean a girl's mind can't be changed. You just won't make a girl fall for you by telling her you are the best thing that happened to the female gender (well maybe if you use that line, it might work). Her emotions are not to be reasoned with, duh! PS: On Point I: to all the "nice guys" out there, Sorriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeee! |
