lezz: Those must be another way of describing the Xhosa/ Zulu war, and the Tswana/Bantu wars. Or the apartheid war. Can't you even see that those are cities outside SA. |

lezz: sorry, you don't have the experience to prove it. Your sandf merged by Mandela has not fought a single battle and won, let alone combating faceless terrorists.
Your defence ministry has admitted its own decay. You really love to hear yourself talk. 1. SANDF altered the faces of Lesotho rebels in Lesotho 2. SANDF defaced Seleka rebels in Bangui 3. SANDF thrashed M23 rebels in Goma |

Henry120: Production is expected to begin in 2015. First production vehicles are planned to be delivered to South African National Defense Forces (SANDF) in 2015-2016. Deliveries are planned to be completed in 2022.

You have no Patria IFV's in service, this is a fact, deal with it. SANDF has only few models in service. |

agaugust: #Show Us One Single Dead Seleka Killed By SANDF...Like this below... . Seleka is not important. The life of an SANDF member is more expensive than that of Seleka and Nigerian soldier. If an SANDF soldiers are killed in action, the media will run after the developments until their final days when they are finally laid to rest. Nigerian soldiers are not important at all, they are just like Seleka rebels who are buried secretly in one single shallow grave. |

EVarn: you said that it was our top military commander who made the claim,is nuhu ribadu a top military official?,nuhu ribadu is an opposition politician, how come you are posting comments made by a politician who is running for a governorship seat instead of a top military official?.what does a politician know about delicate military matters? you are always backward with the current news and affairs or is it because you live in SA and seem to have forgotten about that small nigeria NUNU RIBADU is a member of the rulling party http://www.nationalbeacononline.com/new/index.php/politics/item/617-nuhu-ribadu-dumps-apc-for-pdpChief!! that was just the same. That was a man who was directly involved in procuring those illegal, rusty and second hand weapons which were acquire from the back door in the black market. Surely, they should have got all the information from SA mercenaries. |

EVarn: BH isnt an army of rag tag child soldiers,it is an organised islamic terror complex supported by international allies and fielding trained guerilla fighters from the arabs and even france. Yet I can only see children here.

EVarn: more like you were cowed by the french government, the same french government that cameroon is now boldly defying. your troops were slaughtered like babarians under the sword of rome by child rebels.seleka smote your paratroopers with the edge of the sword, leaving your soldiers running in wild panic under the umbrella of france.your troops failed, period. Yet we killed over 600 of those child soldiers until they cried for their mommies. What about Nigerian troops who have been slaughtered and even beheaded by these rag tag BH child soldiers?

EVarn: we acquired our OPCVs from the black market?,what of our CH-3,T72,T55,BTR-4,and BVP-1?,did we acquire them on the black market too?.are you mad? Yes, from Black market as confirmed by the highest ranking member in Nigerian army. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 8:56pm On Feb 22, 2015 |
EVarn: to cut the long story short; your troops failed in CAR,they ran to the airport on bare foot, leaving behind dozens of your geckos to the rebels. Our troops never failed, they were waiting for reinforcement. They commited massacre by killing 600-800 seleka rebels until they backed for mercy. Gripens and Rooivalks arrived and we were waiting for Game 2 and the parliament said NO. |

EVarn: That same arrogance will topple your nation into a pool of flaming sulphur. Most of our weapons were acquired legitimately through defence contractors, moreover; what 'antidote' do you have to our CH-3 UACVs cruising leisurely into your airspace? what 'immunity' can you muster against a convoy a T72 tanks pointing the business end of their 125mm guns at pretoria? what 'solution' do you have against NNS Centenary OPCV penetrating your territorial waters and running circles round your frigates and submarines without asking for free fuel? do you really have answers to our BTR-4,CS-VP3 MRAPS,Super puma armed attack helicopters etc....? False, large majority of your weapons were acquired as second hands and illegitimately as even confirmed by Nigerian military. They even tried to acquire them illegally from SA, remember. 1 gripen= thousands of drones 1 ingwe= 1 T72, MRAPS, BTR, etc. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 8:33pm On Feb 22, 2015 |
EVarn: can you buy T72 MBTs,CH-3 missile drones,BTR-4 and OPCVs{fitted with combat system} on the black market? Yes, you can. Executive Outcomes were specialist of Russian weapons from their armoured vehicles to their gunships and you know what, they acquired all that from the black market. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 8:31pm On Feb 22, 2015 |
EVarn: so you say....in the absence of civilian 'war' journalists,a special team of SANDF troops who werent actively engaged in combat could have done it. Nope, war jurnos who were supposed to have been born and bred of CAR could have filmed the whole scene and pictures. In SA, there is a journalist in almost every city to cover any incident which appears to be newsworthy and if it is too risky will even organise a well trained war jurno. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 8:22pm On Feb 22, 2015 |
Most of recently acquired Nigeria's weapons are just junk which has been bought from the black market. Nothing is big about them, they will only be good to chase after terrorists and not a fully fledged professional army like SANDF. We have a solution in a form of an antidote for all of them. We are definitely immune. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 8:11pm On Feb 22, 2015 |
agaugust: It is wrong as usual, does not include Nigeria's new weapons purchases in hundreds, T-72, BTR-4, RM-70 MRLS, BVP-1, CH-3 Missile Drones, CS-VP3 MRAPS, Spartan MK III, Igirigi 23mm x 2 cannon, Alpha jets with PGM, Puma armed helicopters, Gazelle armed helicopters, NNS Centenary, NNS Okpabana, NNS Sangbama, too many including weapons SANDF has never dreamed of . Do you mean second hand products bought from the black market which are nearing their life span? |

EVarn: it isnt unprofessional,do you mean to tell me that video recordings of scenes in WW2 by world military powers are unprofessional?,it isnt unprofessional,it is something to be done with pride, something that future generations will witness and be proud of.it also has the positive effect of psycological morale boost for both soldiers and citizens. that your troops werent capable enough to do something doesnt mean its unprofessional. There were special people who were assigned to do that work and they are called war journalists. Unfortunately, CAR is still backward more like Djibouti. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 7:08pm On Feb 22, 2015 |
EVarn: hmm....be that as it may, there are supposed to be picture and perhaps video evidences recorded by your soldiers specially to prove the reports of your adventure. a lack thereof signifies defeat. That's unprofessional and immature for soldiers doing battle with video cameras and carrying riffles at the same time. We only see that unbecoming scenes happening in Nigeria, Thank you. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Msauza(m): 7:05pm On Feb 22, 2015 |
agaugust: Even if we don't use other sources that say Nigeria has Otomat Mk II, lets just assume Mk I for analysis purposes alone today.
SAN Exocet range 70 km
NN Otomat Mk I, 80 km when two missiles are fired in salvo, they cooperate and extend range from 60km to 80km . Nigeria does not have a launching platform for Otomat anymore. |

lezz: your own defense review confirmed you neither have trained and qualified personnel for your decayed equipments. And one of you slumy lier from a nation of pretence and identity crisis was talking about your mercenaries teaching Nigerian army how to handle sophisticated equipments.
Well it turned out your SANDF will need to fly in experts from Europe to help you clean up your military mess. http://www.defenseindustrydaily.com/south-africa-military-maintenance-matters-010956/ Are you still crying foul about our mercenaries who are training your rag tag air force. Your jets are still flown proudly by SA mercenaries. born and bred in SA. |
