agaugust:All that started with a paper dummy!! Jonathan approached the national assembly to ask for an approval to make a loan with a proposal in black and white. He was offered an approval to approach foreign banks to make a loan of $1 billion to buy weapons in black and white. His loan application was approved by the foreign banks in black and white. Can you now see that paper dominate everything dummy. Even when we design a new car, ship, aeroplane, electronic device, budget, expenditure, etc, we put it on paper first. An MBA graduate who does not understand the basics of reporting, recording, accountability and evaluation. You will be a bad manager who will teach students to spend without a plan on paper to outline what they want to spend for. I wish you do not manage any company because that entity will rot just before you even start to spend. |
agaugust:Most of Nigerias locally produced weapons are sub standard and many of which are still in infancy stage. Such weapons do not even make 0.10% of the inventory of the local armed forces. Nigerian military itself does not even have confidence on their locally produced weapons, the reason why Denel proposed to take over Dicon years ago. Businesses has its up and downs, surely the author did not do proper research about business before he could put all that to paper. The money lost was.an investment of buying controlling stake of Dangote's flour mill. I fail to understand where does this go about Dangote r.aping our economy unless you did not understand the texts well. I really doubt if you have MBA degree, that is happening in Nigeria. |

lezz:Your thinking has already been compromised by that tiny little plot of kleinfontein and orania. SA has developed as even more better and bolder than it was during apartheid. That has even been admitted by the DA the first opposition party in SA. Our country was full of slums during apartheid and ANC has eradicated all that and performed magic by converting all of that into decent residential area. SA now looks attractive with many slums evicted and rebuild with more attractive look. The ANC has invested over $400 billion to continue to eradicate all those slums everyday and build free houses. There is no so called exclusively white areas in SA and places which happened to be dirty are those occupied largerly by foreigners (forgive my xenophobic comment). Truly, places which turn to be occupied by foreigners in SA are dirty. Just take Hillbrow as an example which is predominantly occupied by Nigerians. The place now is a hell on earth, it is drugs capital of Africa, dirty and smelly. Nigerians do not take a good care of themselves, the places which they live in and even their personal hygiene. Hillbrow, and many places in Johannesburg which are currently occupied by foreigners used to be jewels and diamonds of SA during Apartheid. It is usually these places that white men blame black men for not maintaining. Whenever, they see foreigners, they mistakenly classify them as black South Africans. Foreigners must know to look after SA buildings by keeping them tidy. Once, SA start to complain about this, they cry xenophobia. |
agaugust:Every expenditure start with a paper. Go and ask Jonathan and he will lecture you that every expenditure in the federal republic of Nigeria started in black and white. It has to be in paper so that the aims and objectives of the expenditure are outlined in details to the public. Every expenditure of the democratic government should be transparent and achieving just that they will have to record every expenditure on paper. So, to us, since it is now starting to reflect on official documents other than newspapers, it is just more than even hope. When it comes to money matters, Nigeria might have the biggest economy in Africa, but does not have a rich government. In actual fact, SA government is more richer than Nigerian government. Owing to the fact that you made recent arms procurement does not mean you have more money, it means that you deprived other departments of their budgets and vote all that into war against terror campaign. You prioritised war and SA prioritises development and that does not translate into SA not having money. It only mean SA focus is somewhere else and if there is any need that SA must inject billions of dollars into its defence account it will happily do so. Our billions of rands are awarded to our aged persons, orphans, terminally sick, children from 0-18years, handicapped, etc. Something which many countries in Africa can only dream of doing. |
MikeCZAR:The F7-NI we both know that is not a good machine for a dog fight. The gripen will detect F-7 jet from kilometers away without it noticing the presence of the gripen jet. Does anyone know how does it feel like when your enemy can see you and you cannot see him. What are the implications? l see DANGER!! DANGER!!! DANGER!!! painted everywhere…Your life will literally be in mercy of your enemy. Let us pray that your enemy is merciful. The gripen jet with its stealth capability will thrive anywhere from the weakest link of the F-7, let say from the side or even rear and send the F-7 pilot to the gate of hell. BOOOOOOOMMM!! Well, everybody, Nigerian fighter pilots are more wiser than @agaugust, they know what I am talking about and won't even dare to challenge 4th generation fighter on a death ring. They know the moment they do that they will be signing their death certificate. F-7 can only challenge gripen when it (the gripen) has discharged all its weaponry. |
agaugust:Man, you are not making any sense anymore, or do you want to tell us your MBA tactics have now run out. You are not making any more of facts but just one fiction after another. |
saengine:That's true, I have also seen the approval of such acquisition on the allocation of 2015 defence budget. SANDF is moving forward and we just only want to prove to the likes of @agaugust that it is not only Nigerian armed forces that has the monopoly to a procure weapons. We all have that financial capability. |
agaugust:Sorry!! you are not AAA n American but just a bloody poor Nigerian who is just fantasising about being an American. Well, you are right, not all states in America have abolished death penalty, but many of such states have not changed from their evil past of propagating racism. It is always predominantly blacks who happen to be put under death raw when they commit felony as compared to their white counterparts. Man, America is not such a paradise that they always show you on Hollywood. South Africa is much more developed than other places that I have seen both in America and Europe. It is not to say that I overrate SA, but I have to admit SA is beautiful. |
lezz:Numerically, SA has over 6 million white people. |
lezz:Kleinfontein and Orania does not even have a population of over 5000 people combined together. Not all white South Africans are mentally sick. Stop putting your garbage of lies on Zuma's mouth. He has never sang "Kill the Boer" ever in his political campaign to lead the ANC. You are confusing Malema's "Kill the Boer" with Zuma's " Bring me my machine". Both of the songs were neither composed by the two. The songs were sang by revolutionaries in exile during the struggle again apartheid. My message is just simple, stop deceiving people with misconceptions. |
agaugust:An accountant who does not know that everything start with a plan before it becomes a reality. I pity the institution that awarded you with your imaginary MBA. |
lezz:A lot of negative stuffs can be said about SA, but we always come out victorious. The analysts across the world have made various interpretations that when a black SA man takes power, he will drive all white men to the sea. That could not happen in 1994. They then wrote again that when Nelson Mandela dies, there will be Armageddon in SA, a black man shall kill a white man wherever they meet. Mandela died and was buried and nothing happened, instead we hugged, moaned, cherished and ate together on one table to prove to the world that they were wrong. Even if there can be evil forces out there, who supported apartheid and are still moaning its abolishment, we are very sorry to tell them that they are just bunch of losers. They can paint the whole net with garbage soiled with propaganda for as much as they can, South Africa shall prevail. The spirit of Ubuntu shall live among us to show the world who are the real propagandists. South Africa unite!!! |
agaugust:This illiterate statement cannot come from an MBA graduate. Since when do doctors who depend on government for feeding and clothing bankrupt the economy. Foreign African doctors in SA are paid peanuts and does not compare to local doctors who have plenty of opportunities. Dangote's purported investment in SA is so small that surely by now has not seen any rewards. He is said to have bought controlling stake at Sephaku, a cement company which was unknown to South Africans. Dangote will just have to know that SA has over 20 cement companies and He and Sephaku will have a hard time to dominate the industry. Here it is not Nigeria where the only bag of cement you can get is that of Dangote. He will just have to be strong because it will not be easy. |
agaugust:Those items you mentioned above is only few. Look we only received Hawk model and we build them ourselves. We changed the performance of our starstreak and we can even give them new names because they do not perform like starstreak missiles generally. The centurion tanks we changed them completely to give them new face. Generally over 90% of our weapons are locally produced. Of course, jealousy can never allow you to see all these. we are on the top 20 arms exporters in the world. http://www.sipri.org/googlemaps/2014_of_at_top_20_exp_map.html |
agaugust:Nigerians are the world no 1 drug peddlers more than any country on the mother earth. |
iterator24:Nigerians who live as refugees and Nigerian doctors to say |
EVarn:Narcotic drugs, mumu. |
agaugust:Bwahahahahahahaha!! Don't make me laugh like that. Nigerian survive by selling drugs in SA. Nigerian doctors work in government hospitals asking for salary in order to sustain their lives. They are found only in few hospitals. Dangote will just only have to be strong, because SA is not Nigeria where he monopolised everything. I have never came across any company owned by Dangote in SA. However, SA companies are r.aping Nigerian economy like hell. |
iterator24:What I like about it is that it says "the first ever", meaning it has never happened before. Hopefully it is just another estimations again. |
EVarn:You are dreaming, the only best thing that Nigerians do here is to sell drugs and nothing else. The pakistanese, Bangladeshi, Ethiopians, Somalians do fairly well than Nigerians. |
iterator24:How can I write of something and I don't know what does it mean, Dummy. |
agaugust:Yet, Nigeria's Spar is South Africa's franchise. That we can bet. |
iterator24:But is true. |
EVarn:Still the place is always untidy. Most Nigerians buy their meat from there. It is only the middle class who always runs to Shoprite and Spar to buy fresh juicy SA imported stake. |
agaugust:Nigeria does not have a reliable data. They do not take data of anything, it is just estimations, as corroborated by my dad, a professor. |
iterator24:My dad grew up in SA and is now a South African. He speaks 5 SA languages. His parents relocated to SA in the late 60s. |
EVarn:Zartech cannot be everywhere every time. What about the one in your market? In SA we have butcheries everywhere and we normally do not only buy meat at a specific place. |
EVarn:Your meat from the market bought from those butchers with smelly armpit looks dirty to me and to even South Africans. You can never sell the meat that has not been inspected and stamped. You can never sell meat from an open market where there is lot of flies. That is unhealthy and dirty. The meat stuff must be packaged and wrapped or must be inside the cooler to keep it away from flies. |
All meat stuff that you buy from SHOPRITE and SPAR are imported from SA and many Nigerians buy meat from those places. |
EVarn:So you are used to eating that dirty meat from the market which is often mixed with dog meat |
@DieVluit-You won't find T-Bones, Chops, Chuck, Sirloin steak, Rum steak, etc. in Nigeria. |
