I really don't know what is it that these Nigerians are refuting about SA mercenaries involvement in Nigerian war on terror. Nigeria could not wait for anyone's advice about recruiting SA mercenaries to train their army because pressure was mounting. They had to use whatever way possible, legal or illegal, to eradicate terror on their land.

Our defence minister cannot entertain hearsays. If she went on to present it before the AU summit there must have been some concrete information she discovered through secret services. Otherwise, she would have dismissed it as lies. Do you mean that she could ever confidently instruct the law enforcement to effect arrest on mercenaries if there had never been any mercenaries in Nigeria? Are you insinuating that our minister made up a story to deceive AU dignitaries with propaganda. Did you even ask yourself why Nigeria has remained mum and never even came out of the closet to defend themselves about such accusations? I never ran away, I asked if you are that important enough for Google to run after you to trace every step that you take. It is simple, rather blame your media for leaking such vital information that you wouldn't like people to hear simply because you feel that it tampers the integrity of your military. The government of SA has never denied any invasion of Nigeria by SA mercenaries. It was all over SA news and they confirmed it and unless there is a cover up that is propagated by the two countries to downplay the whole thing for the good cause of relations between the two countries.

Nigeria is flying Mi-35 Hind E combat helicopter gunship 2014 latest version with FLIR/TV and advanced avionics that no Southie mercenary has ever seen in his life time....only Russia can train a user on Hind E....how does a rifle man mercenary train NAF on ultra modern equipment that even SAAF and SANDF does not have today 2015 ?

Knowledge is power. Executive outcomes is made up of former fighter pilots, highly trained soldiers and special forces. Executive Outcomes used to own gunships particularly Hinds. They used them extensively in Sierra Leone and Indonesia. Most members of Executive Outcomes can fly helicopters and planes, they are well trained to e execute that.

I do not deny that SANDF was unaware of the mercenaries until a white newspaper Beeld reported about it. SANDF does not keep track nor trace whereabouts of ex-soldiers. Most mercenaries are white and beeld being a white newspaper very close to them revealed the story.
