It's not new. My dad is in his late 80s and my mum in her 60s. It wasn't until his 80th birthday that we knew his actual age. His sister sent a special birthday message in church. We didn't have any big celebration, nothing special, because we didn't know it was his 80th birthday. It will be hard to explain that to anyone. My mum was in shock.

I recall a similar incidence at Balogun market one Christmas period a few years back. The lady was crying and screaming that her breast was gone. The market people were shouting “hold your breast oh”. Different people were touching her chest and asking her if there was breast there before and if she was very sure about that. I hurriedly left the market before sharing stories that touch. I don’t know if she got her breast back or not. Was traumatizing for the lady.

No basis oh! Their pathologist was present and they all accepted the result. They waited for 3 days and after burial, asking for the body to be exhumed. Terrible people.

On what basis are they demanding another autopsy?
This is what LASG should first demand if indeed the school is requesting such?
We mustn't use government to Lord over individuals and organisations.
If an appointed pathologist from the school was present and accepted that the autopsy was properly conducted and signed,then their request is prosperous.
But if no pathologist from the school was present or he didn't sign or disputes the chief pathologist's report,then an issue arises that should be handled openly and fairly.
We are talking of the untimely,gruesome death of a young girl with a bright future.
Going forward,what lessons has the government learnt from this,to avoid repeat in future because closing of school is not always the answer.

This is really upsetting. They all had representatives there when Lagos state government conducted the autopsy in a government hospital. Result came out on Monday. They buried her on Thursday, the school didn’t say anything. They didn’t ask for a second opinion until she was buried. Very inhumane school.
How can you ask to exhume the body? Why didn’t Chrisland object in the 3 days leading to the girls burial. They know the girl was electrocuted. They know they poured water on her that sped up her death. The autopsy revealed the girl was alive after the electrocution but failed responses caused the girl’s death.
Parents should rally around the girl’s parent and demand accountability. It could have been another healthy child.

Lagos people mask up. The Delta variant is deadly. In the last 2 weeks, I know 2 people that have died. Another one is currently in ICU. It's moving from 0 to 60% in less than 3 days. Those that died had covid for less than 2 weeks. Compared to what I hear, these nos are low. Let's all stay safe oh

My advice: Do not leave Bank A. If you were not going to training school, and it was a a desired move, this advice would be different. If you finish from Bank B's training school and you are deployed(remember, you have no control over the deployment) to the same department you don't like , what would you do? You would have wasted your 20months in Bank A and additional 3- 6 months of training school and back to negative. Since you are then bound for the next 2 years.

Take certifications or trainings in the field/department you would like to move to. Update your records with HR, speak to someone in the department you would like to move to , to notify if there's a vacancy.

Congratulations on your baby! Please look for Red Acalypha leaf (you can google the picture-it's very common). boil this leaf and bathe your baby with it 2ce daily. Also, Natural Nigerian has a great baby range which works(from experience) also made with Red Acalypha and others.
Do not be tempted to use steroids- they are terrible.

Hello house, my boy is barely one month old and he developed this skin issue. One of my colleagues said it is Ela(Yoruba) but from my experience, ela use to manifest as very red tiny rashes around the neck and joints.

Now this one is not on his neck (though it is in both his elbow joints, scarcely on his Tommy and this morning I say it at the back of his knee), his skin molts around the rashes. I just can't completely describe it that's why I included the pics.

I need help elders in the house. I took him back to the hospital where he was born but they said it will go but I don't like the look.

Mods pls help me push to fp.

I know you've got so many suggestions. Check out amalbotanicals on Instagram or mobabycare. Use any of their products and see results like so many people I know that had this issue. Also observe the diet. Is Baby exclusively breastfed? What is mum eating?

I think there is a database that has been compromised. Not necessarily that of the bank.
I work in a bank and I got a similar call. The person had my full name and my full date of birth.
I played along and he asked for "the nos on my ATM card" and that I was going to get a code to take to the bank on Monday.
Now, if this person had full info from my bank, he would have known I had a Staff Account and not a regular account.

My advise is never expect your bank to call you from a GSM no. And NEVER EVER give out ANY Code sent to your phone no to anyone.

I have used Medela Manual pump and I say it's the best! I did my research before I bought a manual pump and Medela came out tops. I tried tommee tippee and lasinoh double pumps(electric) and I could be there for 1 hour waiting for a 150ml bottle to get filled up.
In comes my Medela, and I have a full bottle in 3 mins.
Everyone I recommended it too had the same experience.

Hi coolniks, I wouldn't employ a wait and see approach . Time is of the essence if there is actually an issue. To assess autism, a developmental paediatrician is required. I saw this post when my LO was 14 months, I was afraid and went to the hospital. The pediatrician picked a key which he looked at and she shook the bunch and he heard. The conclusion was there's nothing to worry about, he can see and hear and i shold come back whEN hes 3 years old if i still suspect autism.I started my research and thank God I did.
In essence, a mother's instinct is very important. You know your child.in the meantime, I suggest getting g GEMIINI. Just search for it on Google or Facebook. There are scholarship plans and it helps with both receptive and expressive speech.
A friend told me then "if you start today and there's no issue, you would have lost nothing. But if you wait to see if there is an issue and there is, you would have lost a lot ". The option is yours. Your LO will do just fine.

I found a lot interesting and encouraging and I want to appreciate all for that. I will continue to do my best and hope respite comes my way someday. I don't want to share any personal stories on the forum just yet, but medication and supplementation are different. I am strongly against Medications except it is absolutely necessary.

Thanks, I was at federal neuro hospital at oshodi Lagos State last week, doctors examined him and asked some vital questions and prescribed some medications, she refferd us to speech and OT units in the hospitals. That's what we are doing now, I hope to get relief there.

Please don't just give your child medications. What is the diagnosis? What are you dealing with?What is the medication for? These are very very important questions.
