Specifically pertaining to jobs in Dubai, there are two separate Labour Laws you need to understand, The UAE Federal Labour Law and; The Dubai Labour Law. What is the UAE Federal Labour Law? @ dd25251 am awed at your narrative renditions of your home country GUYANA, AND HUMBLED BY YOUR INDIFFERENCE to the ugly and demeaning stereotypes Nigerians are usually associated with. I respect your highly matured and well informed opinion that we find good and bad people every where on the globe irrespective of creed, color, tribe or race. i would certainly love to visit Guyana someday..may be settle there. if you wouldnt mind i would love to relate with you on personal terms, your modest and scintillating personality speaks of you.. thanks |
Agent8706: Abuse of freedom of speech. That you have the right and means to voice your opinion doesn't mean that you should do so foolishly. What qualifies his right to freedom of expression as a right.. Is it the right conferred upon him by the ignominious seriake dickson or its an inalienable right he enjoys as a human being and a bona fide citizen of Nigeria.. My dear don't be a bland , self -deluded loquacious uncouth oaf, a poster boy for tyranny.. He enjoys an unqualified right to express his opinion and if there lies an action for defamation...its an action impersonam the deluded governor can sue him for libel.. Rather than exercise his executive might like an un schooled infant... |

aiyeboy: pls how can i get importers here this thing is getting too longHello. I am so sorry if this advise is coming rather a bit late. But I am rather bemused that the NDLEA confiscated your laptop. However I would like to ask some few questions. 1. Did u hide narcotics in it?.. If not the statutory duty of NDLEA and laws establishing it precludes it from such functions. I think we have the customs for that. 2. Are laptops on the federal gazette of prohibited imports? To the best of my knowledge I don't think so. 3.Did you pay all your import duties and charges ? They could leverage on this. 4. Have u had a fallout with them before as regards possession, sale or usage of banned substances? U may have been on their watch list. If you are free of all possible indictable offences. Then they have no right whatsoever to seize your laptop.. I urge u to seek the services of a LAWYER fast before they extort and exploit u for no just cause. Delay defeats justice.. Here is my nos. . Email. Mikebassey@gmail.com. Ciao |
This is a great forum.. I keep wondering why learned fellows like us take the back seat when educated peeps are at the fore on topical issues affecting the socio-political as well as economic well being of our dear nation.. The profession comes with its perks no doubt.. But we can all create time and contribute positively here..to the benefit of both aspiring, new wigs and veterans of the profession.. No one is a reservoir of knowledge.. Thank u |
BY Xplicit: Pls Gurus in the house I seriously need your advice on career path, I am a law graduate who is seeking a better path in the field but am not previlaged to know the lucrative areas I can pitch my tent, some of my friends who graduated before me got into practice with some law firms and d salary is ridiculous btw 7k to 30k.Though I would have suggested u practice for a year or two to build on your theoretical knowledge of the LAWs nonetheless if ur insistent on diversifying ur interest.. Then I did advise u Get professional certifications in some related disciplines to give the needed employment leverage in in-house practice.. Eg. CIPM, SHRM, CIArb .. Just to mention a few the world is dynamic.. Static lawyers die static..peace |
I no gree . . .You'll do err'thing yourself or my mama go help you ![]() Frittata takes me not more than 4-5 mins to make. I use just onions sometimes, other times I use zucchini. Whisk and salt your eggs (cheese is optional), heat a little amount of oil, add sliced onion or shredded or sliced zucchini, watch for softness and then add the sauté zucchini or onions to your whisked eggs, whisk again and pour in the pan containing oil. Tilt the pan to make sure the eggs settle evenly, cook for a minute or 2 until the eggs are baked. Voilà! I don't bake in the oven. Well I know for many.. The topical issue relating to lesbian, gays, Bi's or even transsexuals would remain a polemic issue for a long time to come. While many a conservative individuals like 'ME' would never ascribe to HOMOSEXUALITY.. Some folks may remain indifferent, while some are and would always be advow proponents for the rights of LGBT peeps. Now back to the topic.. As a black man, An African, An partly Nigerian.. I abhor homo's.. #nooffence.. Just my preference.. But how would you feel if u took a girl on a date and a nice time with her, only to discover later that SHE was born HE and changed sex to SHE.. Impliedly u slept with a fellow man with a VJAY.. I have pondered on what I will do.. And my thoughts should be best left to your imaginations.. Well would like to know what fellow guys would do if found ins such situation!
You know India is the 3rd largest economy in the world bigger than Germany and Japan! Which are countries that can boast of rural cities more glamorous than Indian capital, Mumbai! India's rural areas are poorer than any village in Nigeria or Burundi! But, they are working on it. Likewise, don't expect Nigeria to displace South Africa in terms of infrastructure overnight. It is a gradual process that will span over many years. That is if we decide it is better to spend our money on infrastructure than buying weapons to fight ourselves in a 2nd civil war after 2015.I don't trust black people to making good choices for their countries. Only time will tell which option Nigerians will rather spend their money.
Please stop misleading enlightened minds.. India has never and can never be the 3rd largest economy of the world.. If she was were would u place JAPAN don't ask me GOOGLE is ur friend. |
