The main reason Nigerians are rejected Visa GLOBAL, the Europeans and Americans are tired of accommodating a runaway Nigerians who can't stay home because of a Highly Corrupt leadership.
Nigeria has collapsed under Mr Tinubu.

Oga try and stop being biased. I never in anyway gave any excuses for anyone. US was downgraded simply because of the tariff issues. Moody upgraded Nigeria just to give confidence to portfolio investors, it doesn't reflect positively on real investments that create jobs.
So please stop all this propaganda, see mark my words, Nigeria will float a diaspora bond again.

You think Moody is as sentimental as you.

They have indices they look at before upgrading and downgrading.

Oga it was the tariff policies of US that made them downgrade. But the A1 rating is still good for business and real investment, because other factors of production are still there. In Nigeria's case the upgraded rating is for confidence to portfolio investors so that they can trade in Nigerian securities. The real investment which is needed for the economy is not there. Nigeria is still high risk for real investment that will create jobs.

You guys are irredeemable. You would fight tooth and nail to give excuse for the western world even when they are going down the hill.

Who started Tarrif trade war? Trump. Was that not part of his policies?

Moody upgraded Nigeria and downgraded US credit ratings. Why is that difficult for you to understand? Why are you arguing what’s not?

America credit rating was downgraded from Aaa to Aa1 two weeks ago by Moody.

Under Tinubu’s watch , Nigeria credit rating was upgraded.

This was a well balanced editorial with the Government given the knocks where necessary, praised for its bold and historical efforts for attempting to turn Nigeria fortunes around and advised on the next step towards robust economic recovery.

Apart from unrepentant cynics, even the international community knows that our President is trying and leading Nigeria out of the woods .

I love the fact that the greedy State Governors are singled out - “ First, his government has to tackle inflation — still running at 24 per cent — with more urgency. Food is the biggest driver. State governments need to increase supply by providing farm inputs, security and better access to market ”.

The Governors had sold all the lands to real estate people instead of supporting the President in its drive to jolt the economy. It’s a sorry case. Nigerians blame the President only for their woes while excusing the Governors for their incompetence. Pretty sad and ill informed.

If other countries do this, imagine the outrage that will happen in the US and the sanctions that will follow.

Trump has undermined the bedrock of the US greatness - the democracy. He desires unlimited power and does not want to be reined in by the courts.

A project that is still conceptual and exposed to a lot of corruption with Elon musk leading the pack for the spaces-based service.

Where will the US get fund for this project? In an era where US debt is becoming unsustainable with Moody dropping their credit rating, they will want to raise the debt ceiling again.

I don’t see the US implementing the whole project. They can only implement some parts.

What you guys don’t understand is the social purse of these countries are getting depleted. I mean, the purse which runs their benefit system.

Their own citizens are not giving birth as a result they have more aged populations and less working people. Thisposes a great challenge to their social system. Thus, they prefer to bring people from other parts of the world to work and pay taxes to refill their social system purse so that the benefits system as well as their infrastructure could be maintained and modernised. They prefer children more because they have a long working years ahead of them.

In summary they ain’t doing you any favour. It’s a way of sustaining their social system, and you are considered critical tools in the midst of it all.
