Elder001:Must You marry? |
She should go for a job that she can cope with. Or forget marriage and "marry" her job instead. Sound odd? Not really - marriage comes with duties and responsibilities for both husband and wife. In this part of the world the wife cooks for the family - as far as I know there's no culture anywhere in nigeria where the husband cooks for his wife. By the way, if mere preparing garri or boiling rice/yam/beans is too much workfor this lazy woman, I wonder whether she will not also complain about the activity in the "other room". |
Opinionated:These guys operate with impunity because they're protected by the likes of Saraki. Even the Offa robbery would have passed off barely unreported but for their "mistake" of shedding so much blood (police say 33 but vigilantes' leader say over 60 killed). These guys are political thugs by day and robbers at other times -spreading fear and terror in the state. Police and Dss surely know them but their godfathers are the powers that be and so they're untouchable. I also believe that Saraki & co courting these bloodthirsty fiends are being divinely reprimanded for their atrocities. Loot the state treasury silly and silence the people by intimidation - that's the classical mafia style the Saraki family has adopted to maintain their political stranglehold on kwara. Hapless Kwara state has suffered so much in the hands of these heartless people. But God listens to the cry of the oppressed. |
PMBfirstson:Maybe that they were not their children but were armed and financed by some unscrupulous politicians and were killed fighting a useless fight while high on cannabis, codein or tramadol. And Baba would then order them to be taken to where they deserve to be forever. |
beresponsible:Their stewpidity is unimaginable. Split nigeria into 3 so that igbo, Yoruba and hausa/fulani can lord it over nearly 250 other ethnic group! |
darfay:What stops them from doing it in their houses? |
And people like this igbo woman will be saying Pmb is corrupt or not fighting corruption. Now she will know whether Pmb is or is not fighting corruption! Twenty-one years' imprisonment loading. |
This 419 man should pay up the dubious 11 billion naira he took from unity bank. |
dukeokafor:Any good phone repairer should be able to do it. |
That's exactly what i did a few days ago. I have this rugged power bank but both Usb hubs were damaged from long use. I kept it aside for quite some time thinking it couldn't be repaired because it is sealed. Just a few days ago at a phone repairer's shop I saw a man came to collect a power bank repaired for him. I took mine there the following day and the beast is as good as new now, working perfectly. |
Good man. Led a simple life. Died peacefully. |
As a christian, how would you keep the injunction Love thy Neighbour when you are rejecting even food from your neighbours? |

Blame Buhari and fulani herdsmen |
Hahahaha, maybe it is a school for the visually impaired! And the drawing was by one of the pupils! |
kellyJames5:Hahaha, you "think"you can never do the job, but as for me, i "know" I will NEVER do the wicked, cruel and inhumane job no matter the pay. Never! |
More like you are trying to deceive or confuse others. Contrary to your deliberate falsehood, Muslims don't say there's no God but Allah, rather, the affirmation of faith in islam is to believe there's no god(or deity) worthy of worship but Allah. Allah is the Arabic word for God; it is illogical to say there is no God but Allah |
And the man is a anointed reverend! |
I watched the video clip of this guy climbing barehand to the 4th floor of the building. I watched it over and over again. It took him less than 90 seconds! Without the video hardly anyone will believe this extraordinary feat. I am absolutely convinced that God used him to save the 4-year old boy from falling to his death, with the added bonus of propelling him to the status of national hero under just 90 seconds. Lucky guy. The guy may not even be the religious type, yet God picked him for special favour. That's God for you! |
May we know the religion the man professes? I know if he's a Muslim this thread will get to at least 10 pages of Islam bashing by islamaphobes . If he isn't a Muslim, there will be no negative comment on his religion. See classical hypocrisy! |
Ratello:This is not primitive reasoning at all; infact they are exhibiting native intelligence. These people's land was acquired and they're shortchanged. The only weapon they have now is to browbeat the govt to fulfil the promises made to them. They know that as Africans one way to go about it is to instil fear of the unknown on the other guys. Given the level of fetish belief in this part of the world, the tactic could work wonders. |
Drnice2:Ok o! They have sacrificed their worthless life for biafra which is non- existent! |
Smart move. At least his transport allowance is assured. I see many copycats trooping to see Ebele Azikiwe after this. |
Esseite:Not harm is done if you direct your observations to them so that they can consider whether the causes you listed qualify to receive zakat allocation. |
SkydaDGreat:I cant believe that the standard of education in the south has fallen so abysmally! |
Esseite:Don't forget that this is zakat money. Zakat is a religious tax which every Muslim irrespective of age or status must pay from his asset, subject to possessing the minimum threshold. This govt agency is only a collection/distribution body of the zakat. Because zakat is distributed to a certain set of needy/poor people many zakat payers simply give theirs to standing bodies like this agency to handle the distribution to the deserving individuals/ institutions. Similar bodies both govt and private- run exist in all Muslim communities across the globe. |
Esseite:In your state just one person could embezzle the whole money. Mark you this is endowment, not necessarily govt money. The money comes from different sources including donations. Looking at the distribution, it is all to charitable causes, complying with the established requirements of helping the needy and alleviating suffering. |
Mogidi:They don't want youths like the hoodlums running SUGs to come and add to the shenanigans the babas are exhibiting in politics now! |
They were married for a whopping 73 years! When his wife Barbara died some weeks ago I knew it will be difficult for him to cope without her. I know of elderly couples who died just a few days between them. Imagine two people living together for decades and for one to disappear forever - the other will just follow! |
MrMcJay:Ironically the Sarakis who ran Societe Generale Bank aground got off scot free. |
All the wicked people in Nigeria, every single one of them - May Almighty God save us from their evil. |
inoki247:This reminds me of a funny ("thought-provoking?) post I saw sometime ago about a guy who wanted to buy a new bike but changed his mind. Instead, he opted to steal one and ask God for forgiveness! |
