chinex276: attention seeking alert..Happy sallah, bros. Even after sallah, let love reign. |
Many people in Nigeria use corn for zakatul fitr. This is perfectly okay according to the ulama. But we all know that our people eat rice on eid day. I will rather we use rice for zakatul fitr , for those who can afford it. Maasalam. |
The biggest challenge we face today as a nation is that politicians have created a huge disparity in wages to their advantage. The minimum monthly wage in the civil service is 18,000 naira but even the lowest political office holder grabs hundreds of thousands of naira without doing any work. Some of them dont even have a fixed pay - they just pillage the treasury with reckless abandon. What is salary to the president, governors, lg chairmen, when they can spend billions as "security vote" without accounting for it! I laugh when people complain about lack of development despite the huge revenue accruing to the 3 tiers of govt. The money goes into the pockets of political office holders and the few civil servants whose collusion is needed to perpetrate fraud. Okonjo-Iweala is a fraud herself. She is paid in dollars. Is dollars our national currency? As long as we do not have honest, selfless and visionary leaders we are doomed in this country. |
The attempt on Buhari's life may not necessarily be the handiwork of boko haram, but what's certain is that enemies of Buhari want the general out of the way before 2015. Assassins are on the prowl and this may just be the beginning. 2015 desperadoes should know that they are riding on a tigers back in all these shenanigans. |
Ilekere: I feel sorry for these parents. They broke away from Northern ideology of "one true religion" and poor illiterate statistics. And for doing what many dare not do, they lost their hope (children).Useless prayer. Boko haram made alot of money from high-profile kidnappings. The bulk of their arms were seized from nigerian troops, according to the CIA. |
voxpopp: pls what is the version of this bible. The english is so plain, simple and straightforwardSo you have different versions of the bible? Your god says one thing in one version and contradict itself in another version! |
MiguelMi6: Excuse me,but what is Un-african about a sensible government allowing consesnting non-threatning persons express their sexuality as they will.Come to think of it,the laws have been suspended,it still gives you headache,no arrest for gay persons.Do you for a second assume that 14years imprisonment will change a person's gayness. They say that same-sex intimacy is alien to their African and religious values and you are talking crap! You and the perverts givig you likes should go and live in the west and leave us to live in peace in anti-gay society. |
The 1 billion dollars is Gej's slush campaign fund. Ha Nigeria! After pocketing 1 tr naira ( 6 billion naira) yearly defence budget, additional 1 b dollars to fight bh? Daris God oo |
Promhize: Lol at thrown outEven your saint Gej has a muslim as his vice and his attorney general is a muslim. If you dont hav anything to say better keep quiet rather than expose your stu.pidity. |
The pastor collects money on behalf of god and spends it on behalf of god. Shikena, no "long grammar" about it. |
Many people in Nigeria seem to hv nomophobia going by the way they hv tied their lives to mobile phones.Imagine somebody driving at over 100km p/h and phoning - l have even seen a lone man riding on a motorbike and texting! |
[quote author=reedbam]Too many seeds, so annoying [quote]The seeds are edible - you eat everything. The most nutritious part is the white flesh under the green skin - but that's not eaten by many people out of ignorance or because it is not "sweet" |
Marilyn Ogar, smart lady. She always says/fabricates what oga-at-the-top wants to hear. Sure next DG! |
Hard to find a northerner in this type of crime. |
A good talker does not necessarily make a good leader. Yar'adua performed excellently as governor of katsina but never spoke much. All this talk about debate is pure deceit - after all they are groomed by experts to mesmerize the gullible with sweet talk but when they get into office they do the opposite. |

There are many traditional religions. Are they calling for the recognition of each of them? |
Passing the buck, eh? |
juwoonn: I forgot to mention that. Almost everybody in a center writes the same thing, in fact a candidate forgot the photocopy of one of the answers in his/her booklet (teacher involved malpractice) and another forgot a page of the keypoint in the booklet. The education sector is really deteriorating by the year.Wuruwuru in waec exams has been going on in SE since time immemorial. Anyone with a distinction or high grade from this area in the past 50 years is prime suspect. Even the ones who call themselves professors today were exam cheats. |
berem: so what will you say about the bombs found at Winners Church in Owerri? Was that also orchestrated?Apt observation. They are sad that the plot failed. Criminals they're too- these are the fools doing murderous jobs for politicians. |
The lady has exercised her freedom of speech. She did not insult anyone by what she said. But I'm not surprised by the Senate's action. Since senators have nothing tangible to do, they like to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Btw, obj has said Nigerian legislators are worse than armed robbers - I wonder why they did not invite him for grilling. |
Nigrr delta terrorists and boko haram terrorists are birds of the same feather. |
ololo12: This madness will stop, once power returns to the Northern Oligarchs. You heard it here first. Why not? They will find a viable end easily and exploit it unlike Gej and his advisers whose only focus squandering the 1 trillion naira budget. |
This is pure speculation. Read the back page of the Sun of 3 Jan. 2014 where Femi listed some of the predictions of this same "prophet" for 2013 that never happened. |
Well, Cecilia Ibru is of course a woman. How did she manage the billions as ceo of oceanic? - she stole everything. |
He isn't the first nor the last. Soon, all these ubiquitous self-proclaimed men of god will be exposed. It's not only fleecing the gullible to acquire private jets and other luxuries, they also engage in diabolical acts. |
The witness could be telling the truth. Could be lying. Could have been manipulated. The cross-examination, if any, should have been reproduced so that his veracity may be determined . A large number of poor and homeless (estimate about 200) were said to be using the uncompleted building for shelter at night and they have refuted this 16-year old boy's account. With the information, why didnt SSS infiltrate the building under cover. Their unprofessional conduct has led to the needless loss of innocent souls while the prime suspects reportedly got away. |
Obj, Gej, Clark.Do we regard these people exchanging insults statesmen? Haba, even area boys observe some decorum when speaking! |
Poster above l am not undermining the products u're marketing. But fact is, exercise and good dieting are all a person need in weight loss effort. With those no side effects. But the products you mentioned have unpleasant side effects and are just total waste of money. You'll still sell anyway, because there will always be people who want to try their luck even where there's no luck! As for tea, it's the no.1 refreshing drink and that's why it's been popular for centuries, not because of the weight loss claim lately by people who want to capitalize on other people's ignorance. |
All these products are not magic wands when it comes to weight reduction. I used raspberry ketones and green coffee as recommended but did not lose even a gram. My advice to anyone desiring weight loss is, dont waste your money on these over-hyped products. The surest way to control your weight is to eat healthy food and exercise regularly - that's it. |
You can also do transfers to accounts in another bank using platforms like Uba's Umobile or even atm card. These are convinient alternatives to qeueing for endless hours in the banking hall. Sceptics of the cashless transactions had better have a change of mind otherwise the train will leave them behind. |
Even if you have a right of action against the bank, the other consideration is, the delay and corruption in the judicial process. Yes, anyone can initiate a suit in court but it takes 8-10 years for a case to move from the High court to final conclusion at the Supreme court. And the case would likely get to the supreme court because the bank's lawyers will ensure that litigation is maintained without exploring out-of-court settlement. In the end it's the lawyers on both side that will swell their bank accounts. As for the bank and the robbery victim, well, they will have to lick their wounds - years wasted for the case to thrown out on legal technicality or some spurious ground. |
