Joagbaje:And what were the names of the Churches Under Paul , Peter & John respectively, and what did they teach or how did they address the Church in the matter of oneness. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Simply put, the Church is organic, a " person " not a business or corporation likened to a Bank, as we have in today's religious practice. This person is Christ, the head of the Church The Apostles initiated the Church through the revelation from God " The Holy Spirit" its constitution today has been seriously faulted, why? the Self, Greed, Satan, Philosophy, division, doctrine, religion, The term "Overseers" implies those who over see the affairs the church life, and these ones are Chosen relative to their experience in the church overtime. It is not a position for one man, one person to dictate and administrate like a business venture. As mentioned by one of the contributors on this topic, most denominations hardly want to accept the truth apart from what they have being feed with , without properly seeking the Lord with a pure heart and a spirit void of division. Christ is our only true reality. Amen |
First, marriage's a blessing that attracts God's favor. If you look at your present financial state and also the country at large, you might never get married. There're people who had no money in the bank and little to show but bodly stepped into marriage and things turned for the best. Also, people who had fat jobs(bank job) and stepped into marriage confortabily but now, things're not the way its suppose to be.I got into marriage when I was earning a little above N100k and when I had a good level of experience in my career.I didn't have much savings and my wife just finished her NYSC.I entered into marriage bodly and God has been faithful. Its all about God's favor! There're things you shld do b4 marriage: 1. Get a job or a good source of income(never depend or have hope on anyone even your family, wife and wife's family) 2. Get a place to stay even if its not too equiped 3. Try and get to a level in your career or business that's confortably so you can switch companies easily.Don't start a fresh career or business while in marriage, you might regret it 4. Learn to pray.
Well said, well said, thanks for this insight. |
The penalty was a fail, but it could have gone both ways. There was a real stonecold penalty committed by Abbate against Cesk. And a lot of other yellows graced by the ref. Overall, Barca won without even playing their most serious game. They were very relaxed, experimented with the defense in three and rested Pique and Iniesta. There is a great gap in quality that Milan cannot close in another 3-4 years Barca beats Milan without full squad in an away match that AC Milan treated as a final. Impressive Barca! |
Reggie2:I agree that Ghadaffi was a tyrant, the context of this information is for us Nigerians to ask our selves critical questions about what ,how we define what we are as a people, so called democracy we have of 12 years. The simple truth here is that its a shame that a mad and crazy Ghadaffi was able to accomplish what our supposed , have been unable to accomplish in 51 years, " Calm & useless". ![]() |
FACTS ABOUT COL GADHAFI AND LIBYA: · There was no electricity bill in Libya; electricity was free for all its citizens · There was no interest on loans, banks in Libya are state-owned and loans given to all its citizens at 0% interest by law · Home considered a human right in Libya –Gaddafi vowed that his parents would not get a house until everyone in Libya had a home. Gaddafi’s father has died, while him, his wife and his mother are still living in a tent · All newly weds in Libya receive $60,000 Dinar (US$50,000) by the government to buy their first apartment so to help start up the family · Education and medical treatments are free in Libya. Before Gaddafi only 25% of Libyans are literate. Today the figure is 83% · Should Libyans want to take up farming career, they would receive farming land, a farming house, equipments, seeds and livestock to kick-start their farms –all for free · If Libyans cannot find the education or medical facilities they need in Libya, the government funds them to go abroad for it – not only free but they get US$2,300/month accommodation and car allowance · In Libya, if a Libyan buys a car, the government subsidized 50% of the price · The price of petrol in Libya is $0.14 (N22) per litre · Libya has no external debt and its reserves amount to $150 billion – now frozen globally · If a Libyan is unable to get employment after graduation the state would pay the average salary of the profession as if he or she is employed until employment is found. · A portion of Libyan oil sale is, credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens · A mother who gave birth to a child receive US$5,000 · Gaddafi carried out the world’s largest irrigation project, known as the Great Man-Made River project, to make water readily available throughout the desert country Under this bad man called Gaddafi, Libyans had the highest standard of living in Africa. In 2010, the United Nations Development Programmed rated Libya as having the highest ranking in its Human Development Index for Africa. In terms of the world, the UNDP HDI statistics considered Libya better than countries such as Saudi Arabia, Russia, Brazil and Turkey. Nigeria was rated one of the worst developed nations in the world in terms of the Human Development Indices for both Africa and the world. Countries such as Ghana, Cameroon, Benin Republic, Togo and even poverty-stricken Bangladesh were ranked as better than Nigeria. Even worse, Sao Tome and Príncipe that Nigeria donates money to, was said to have a better standard of living than we do. Gaddafi’s Libya had free health care, interest free loans from banks, free education and subsidized housing. Libyan’s schooling abroad had access to not only finance for their studies but recognition for engaging in scholarly activities. While our university system progressively loses value like termite-infested wood and our graduates can’t even write essays much less books, Libya had a literacy rate of around 90% with women receiving an almost equivalent exposure to education as men. Of course, our rating is somewhere far behind them, even Tanzania and Gabon are doing much better than we are. Petrol in Libya in March this year was the equivalent of 19 Naira per litre, subsidized by Gaddafi’s government without complaint, while in Nigeria successive thieving governments have attempted to yoke the masses into perpetual slavery by increasing the cost of petrol each year, now they are threatening to cut out subsidy and leave us with fuel at 142 Naira per litre next year. Nigerian refineries catering to 180 million people have a combined installed capacity of less than 460,000 barrels of crude oil per day, yet we’re lucky if we get 75% of this production capacity. Under Gadaffi, Libya’s production capacity in its refineries was for 378,000 barrels. Their population is 6.4 million people. They only use about 220,000 barrels per day for domestic uses and export the rest. Libya under Gaddafi had total installed electric generation capacity of 6,248MW for their 6.4 million people. Nigeria have 4,000MW installed but we only see about 3,000MW of this capacity performing for 180 million people. The inevitable in life is CHANGE and no man can claim monopoly of knowledge, I think that have warranted some Libyans for a forceful change. Nevertheless, if Gaddafi have done so much for his people, I think having him in Nigeria will be a blessings to us. So What's the Problem with Libyans? The long rule? Or what? Col. GADHAFI, needs to rule Nigeria for 500yrs! Pls we need Gaddafi like type |

lekywhite:Thank you my dear, but let us believers call on the Lord to enlighten us more on how to reach out to the many unsaved for which this purpose is meant for. On the other hand, these government advisers or what ever are very funny, why are they not making laws to get rid of the area boys who liter the whole Lagos like moon dogs, or the Music playing CD/Music sellers freaks!!! or the crazy parties held on streets you have all over the place. I had one behind my house for a time and this guy plays the songs so loud to the amusement of those who hear, and dance to it, for crying out loud he had little or no stuff to sell, but took delight in disturbing the peace. In the same area a church puts up a speaker to preach our Lords message, and people were fast to complain and condemn. Ironic isn't it, may the Lord covers us all, Jesus is Lord |
Barca dominates quarterfinals Edgar Fornós Players from FC Barcelona are leading the way in the World Cup. Of the 14 players who started the competition, 10 still have a chance of winning the Cup and are making a huge contribution to there respective teams. Now that the tournament is down to the last 8, Barca not only has more players involved than any other club, but they are also producing some of the best individual performances. Passing kings Foto_Espanya.jpgBarca is famous for its passing style of football so the fact that three of the top four players in the ranking of passes are Barca players comes as no great surprise. Xavi leads the way with 368 passes, follow by Sergio with 327, while Piqué is fourth with 306. Top guns Messi tops the shooting ranking with 23, with 13 on target – also the highest total. He’s closely followed by David Villa with 12. Villa top scorer villa.JPGRecent signing David Villa is also joint top scorer in the competition (four goals so far) - along with Gonzalo Higuain and Robert Vittek. However, Vittek won’t be scoring any more as Slovakia have already been eliminated by Holland. Every minute Messi, Piqué and Puyol have played every minute of every match so far – 360 minutes. Villa comes very close – he was substituted two minutes from the end of the match against Portugal. Man-of-the-match Four Barca players have been chosen as man-of-the match: Messi in the match between Argentina and Greece; Villa (Spain v Honduras); Iniesta (Spain v Chile) and Xavi (Spain v Portugal). |

scantee:scantee, i think you should just ignore these haters, inside they are wishing, , all that "yabing" is just to disguise their admiration for Barca. This is what it takes to be on top, in the next 3 years Barca will win the CL again over there slizzy head, all they do is just talk, one true indicator in life that you are doing well is the number of hates & jealousy you get from under achievers, |
. See yarns. abegi make we hear word jare. So when a defender attempts to clear the ball out of danger and the attacking team player uses part of his hand to stop the clearance and re-initiate the attack, you will allow it on the grounds of ball-to-hand and hand-to-ball bullcrap? Nonsense Ok you did not see that Pique's goal was offside? you guys always look for referees' favour in big matches. One-dimensional predicatble attack.E be like say barca get one secret rule say everybody must touch the ball before una attempt to score. Jose has the record that he has never lost to a Barca team with his eleven men on the pitch. Barca with the REF's help did first part of their difficult task in 28 mins by taking out MOTTA. Do I talk about the off the pitch shameful acts by Barca fans and officials before the match? Una never halla.
The true remark of a Barca hater, yeah like barca didn't beat them with 11 men during qualifying rounds, inter won when it mattered the most period, & Jose, good coach,
Oh I'm VERY afraid. . . .
You better be Tudor !!, I've gone through the tread and not very impressed on how you have analyzed the issue and I can see how a lot of others share this view. I know you love Christ in your heart and will love him to be you personal Lord and saviour, and you know it's simple," Just say Lord Jesus I accept you as my personal Lord and Saviour, I repent of all my wrong, come in to my life today,Amen. Now that you are born again " if you say those prayers", take time to study your Bible and understand the purpose of his death and his resurrection. And please stop " talking trash of Pastor Chris" God bless you. |
ladej:Please do go through the discuss very well, doesn't seem like an issue of decline, and even at that, the simple fact remains that a culture that is none progressive in terms of economic gains, social maturity, tolerance, etc will definitely be dumped by any generation, its a case of "practice what your preach". If we don't want a decline in our culture we should say our culture and mean our culture. What is responsible then? Nigerians have developed a "split personality", we are at a cross road in our history as people who do not understand the dynamics of who we were and what we want to become, its like branding. What America has done with it's way of life (culture) is simply make a super brand of it, that is irresistible to the world, not just Nigeria. Decline from mostly the youth in Nigeria is attributed to a life style(Culture) brand, that made us a unique people suddenly disappear, who culturally are our heroes today?, Wole Soyinka,Fela,Obasanjo, ?, our parents? lie !!! Most of them are confused themselves.Lastly we look as the issue of religion and believes, more youths today are drawn to religious tenets as a result of lack of trust on the cultural system which contradicts their faith, be it Christian or Muslim. God Bless |
Culture culture culture, why do we elude our selves of the reality on ground.Culture is not Dbanj's or Asa's song or just native wear or the salutation.Culture is a way of life of a people.what's our way of life here?, for 40 + years we have not been able to define the true tenets of who we are as a people. An elder in Nigeria steals public funds and tells the younger generation that they have derailed, which is accepted in our culture? the MTV effect or the stealing acts. Until Nigerians define a true identity and a well definite blue print for our selves as a people and what we call culture becomes relative to our growth, poverty alleviation, better living, and a sincere purpose and desire towards nation building, , we would just be fooling our selves over and over and over. |
Theblessed:Thank you Theblessed, the simple answer " Inferiority Complex" case closed, low life's make the louder noise, and always try to impress.Nothing wrong with speaking good English, but they should try not to make an exhibition of themselves when talking, ![]() |
