Amedino99: Benin needs a win which will guarantee them automatic qualification regardless of other results. A draw or loss means they wont make the playoff because they will be deducted 4 points due to zimbabwe. Nigeria needs a win for two reasons, a play off spot and automatic qualification in the event results go their way. South africa needs a win for automatic qualification only and also hope nigeria wins. They cant go through on play off due to zimbabwe. A nerve wrecking day ahead to come. Tomorrow will be chaotic |

chrisooblog: Lol that's us football fans for you D'Law.
Football has to be one of the few sports were spectators are all experts.
D'Law imagine a random person you met on the road side telling you how you should have filed a legal objection or used this or that legal strategy without having ever studied law in Uni. It's crazy man. And Social media has amplified by a thousand decibels, the voices of these arm chair experts. 😂😂 |

mekabuachi: This one most Nigerian journalist alongside Sunday oliseh are trying to to push propaganda and agenda.. that Nigeria was caused by Erico in 2002 before the world cup after his sack... Hence the reason Nigeria football is declining Omo we mo really need all those talks now ooh After world cup qualifiers we talk that one... Do these people know the psychological effect it can have on both fans and players at this crucial moment?
Omo nawa ooh A curse is a negative pattern. So let's dispel such utter nonsense from our minds. Since 2002, we qualified for 2010, 2014 and 2018 World Cups. Keshi who Oliseh mentioned as being part of the aggrieved triumvirate of coaches won the nations cup in 2013. |

Just watched a clip of some fans warning Nwabali to be careful. As in what will you do?
We too we here dishing out strategies, formations and line ups.
The sense of ownership or rather of belonging is what fuels the delusion that we matter. And this is what makes the game sweet. |

If they can’t beat Rwanda then they had no business aspiring to play in the World Cup in the first place. Trash! Him spirit don dey tell am say they won't qualify. You know that sinking feeling inside one's belly. |

dragonflyy: The kind hope wey una get for this thread, I envy you guys. yesterday proved that we can't even finish off smaller teams anymore. In this same group, other teams use Lesotho to boost goal difference. When it came to our turn, we dey play them like say na El Classico.
by the time Benin score 1 goal tomorrow in the first half and we spend the entire game looking for an equalizer, maybe it will finally dawn on us that this team is not World Cup material. we're not ready. You can't reap where you didn't sow. When other teams were grinding out results, we were busy dragging our feet and gambling with our coaching staff. We escaped a draw with Lesotho yesterday. what makes you so sure we'll beat Benin? the same Benin wey turn this same Lesotho like garri? It is because the situation is hopeless that we have hope. |

Nwabali
Fredrick. Ajayi. Bassey. Zaidu
Onyeka. Ndidi
Chwukwueze. Iwobi. Simon
Osimhen Perfect. Those training courses have really added more depth to your tactical nous. If we deploy this system, our defense will be shielded. Iwobi will score or give an assist to Osimhen. But Chelle will go for a 4-4-2. He's that predictable |

yinkeys: I have a question for you Osimhen is arguably in the top 5 best strikers in the world conversation right now Are you in the top 100 conversation in your profession globally ? No wonder that man earns over $1 million monthly
I will not like to see Osimhen as captain though, it would affect his performance plus he’s too emotional/passionate Rasheedat Ajibade became captain & the responsibilities that position entails affected her performance at AFCON She wasn’t exceptional like she used to be The captain band is heavy What is this at the bolded? Affected her performance, how? She wasn't exceptional yet she won nothing less than 3 player of the match awards and was crowned player of the tournament at this just concluded WAFCON in July this year? |

COOL10: Tuesday's match against Benin will be bloody. I see a 2:2 draw or 3:2 win for Nigeria. The only problem is South Africa's match against Rwanda. They'll do all they can to win because they're playing at home. Even Moetsepe the President of CAF (who's a South African) may be present in the stadium that day. Wuruwuru go plenty that day. Everything points to a South African victory.
This is why I hate Permutations and Combinations. I don't joke with my peace of mind. South Africa will win that match. Walahi. |

I praised Jpes for his Afcon performance and I wanted him to stay but Chelle has not done badly given the circumstances in which we found ourselves in these qualifiers. Imagine, we have 14 points. Chelle alone gave us a whopping 11 out of that measly 14 points. He should be commended. Like BankyGee said, we only have this slim hope because of him. MetalJigsaw, you don smoke gbana if you don't see that Chelle has done well getting us this far. |

That Angola coach was my expectation, or Leroy or that former Zambia coach but Chelle just got the job out of the blue. I was disappointed We have to be fair to Chelle. These are high stake games and the time to strategize is short. Chelle has secured 11 out of a possible 15 points. That's massive |
