A source at the Presidency has confirmed to SaharaReporters that Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State was sidelined in the selection of Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, the ministerial nominee from his state. Mrs. Ahmed is the current executive secretary of the Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (NEITI), a position she has held since the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.Source: - http://saharareporters.com/2015/10/15/el-rufai-sidelined-selection-kaduna-ministerial-nominee

Investigations by SaharaReporters have revealed that this property was purchased on May 30, 2014 by one Kevin Okyere, who has close ties with Mrs. Alison-Madueke, for the astonishing sum of £4.5 million. SaharaReporters has found that a £4.5 million mansion belonging to the notable oil tycoon from Ghana, Kevin Okyere, provides a connection between him and the recently arrested former Nigerian Minister for Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke and her ongoing legal battles. On Friday October 2, 2015 Diezani Alison- Madueke was arrested, along with four other individuals ages 30-60, by agents of the UK National Crime Agency (NCA) for financial crimes of bribery and money laundering, according to a press release by the NCA. The following Monday, October 5, UK police officers filed for the seizure of £27,000 found with Mrs. Alison-Madueke by British authorities under the powers enshrined in the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. Beatrice Agama, Alison-Madueke’s mother, also had £5,000 and $2,000 detained. A third individual, Melanie Spencer, similarly had £10,000 detained by British authorities operating under the Proceeds of Crime Act. Since the detention of these funds, SaharaReporters has found that Melanie Spencer, implicated in the NCA’s ongoing investigations with Alison-Madueke, is a resident at 14A St Johns Wood Road, NW8 8RE in London. Further investigations by SaharaReporters have revealed that this property was purchased on May 30, 2014 by one Kevin Okyere, who has close ties with Mrs. Alison-Madueke, for the astonishing sum of £4.5 million. please read it carefully cos am confused. Bashing is allowed but please in a civilized way. now my story. I met this lady in 2009 when I finished my waec but I loved her so much, we started dating and we became two love birds. But suddenly she changed and followed another guy a year later when I got admission and in the university, so we both went our separate ways. now I have graduated last year and now she is in part three we later become so close and we welcome back our love and I found out I love her even more than before. the problem is that she is dating another guy and I categorically told her I don't share and I will not tolerate it, but she keep dating the guy and I find it difficult to leave her and the worst thing is that any time we are together and the guy calls and am mad she start complaining that I like getting angry all the time and she picks his calls in front of me. Am confused I love her so much but I find it difficult to say is over and I will be living for NYSC by October 28. |

as the Nigeria Senate begins to investigate the power sector today 8th September 2015. there are various shocking revelations, according to punch news The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Power, Mr. GoodKnows Igali on Tuesday said a total of N2.74tn has been spent on the power sector since 1999. He also said no engineer was employed in the public power sector for 11 years. Igali said this at the beginning of the Senate probe of the sector. According to him, the absence of proper investment in the sector prior to 1999 as well as acts of sabotage were largely responsible for the problems bedeviling the sector. He explained that from the 1900s, when power first came to Lagos, power generation and distribution remained in the hands of government until the sector was unbundled in 1999. Igali said, prior to 1999, “by law, even if you can generate power yourself, you cannot sell to your neighbour.” http://www.punchng.com/news/n2-7tn-spent-on-power-since-obasanjos-govt-ministry/ But obasenjo was not happy with this development and he quickly rush to Mr buhari for help, according to punch news President Muhammadu Buhari and former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday held a closed-door meeting at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. The two leaders met for about one hour at the President’s office. Details of the meeting were unknown as of the time of filing this report. Obasanjo refused to speak to journalists when Buhari accompanied him to his vehicle around 4:17p.m. He told journalists that approached him “ Comot joo (go away).” http://www.punchng.com/news/buhari-obasanjo-meet-in-aso-villa-2/
