To all my brothers and sisters been delayed, i really feel your pains and i say take heart and try again through Masters just like other gurus have suggested. Just yesterday or so, i posted about the yearly quota/limit for TRV especially for students, infact due to the high rate of PGC/PGD applications coming from Nigeria and other countries recently, i see CIC cancelling PGC/PGD or bringing a new law that completely prevents foriegners from using that route to enter Canada. The Applications are much...The day i submitted my application VFS the crowed was like a crusade ground.lolz Those of us still waiting i wish us the best and those who already have a response please move forward and God will help u in ur next application or endervour..Na Master sure pass now. |

Hello House, Though am not a veteran in this house but i will like to encourage all TRV hopefuls, remain positive about your application no matter the delay and situation. I believe with prayers and faith everything will work our for good in our favor. From my experience about US visa's this is the truth of the matter; All VO's or visa processing centers have daily/monthly/yearly quota or limit of TRV to be issued to international students aside other visa categories. Therefore assuming all applications are deemed perfect then who will they drop, definitely they will raise the bar and qualification points. Our applications are been scored while under review, so if your application falls below a particular score then there's trouble. Sometimes the bar is raised or lowered according to some conditions. That's why we sometime see a very ridiculous application that even @Yemdogg will throw out, receiving TRV and yet another application with everything almost 100% perfect will be denied with flimsy excuses and reasons. So at the end of the day it's all FAVOUR and GRACE. 7 Likes |

yemdogg: @yemdogg, Thanks for your brutal and honest response,I know very much better on how to package an application now haven learnt from my mistake and that of others. But God is man of possibilities and sure if am destined to go to Canada, even with my honest mistakes i can scale through,Am well prepared for any outcome, it's just the long wait of over 3 months that's my headache. At least if i have my passport i can plan other trips and movement but this one they practically seize passport for over 3 months no good o. |

michV: Thanx bro, from the things i learnt here i argued with my agent concerning the study and work experience correlation thing but the kept telling me it doesn't matter since it;s not MSc and that PGC or PGD candiadates are people who want to change career path...and many other excuses, but i believe there's nothing impossible for God to do. I made sure i put in my best in other areas of my application. Meanwhile please can you comment on other areas of concerns i pointed out. @thesoj @yemdogg and other gurus please your attention is needed on my case. Thanks |

Hello TRV Elders in the house, i greet all of u and i wish us ALL a successful TRV approval. I have some concerns and will appreciate you guys to help address this concerns. 1. I submitted my application on 19th July,2016 via paper route, no upfront medicals. I didn't receive any acknowledgement mail from VFS but i was able to use my tracking ID and it was dispatched same day to Accra. But my concern is that i have tried linking my application online several times but the cic website keeps telling no application found. I input all details correctly. 2. I was offered an admission into Humber College, for Wireless Telecommunication program for September 6 to May,2017(9 Months). On my offer letter it was stated that i need to confirm and accept the offer before 3rd June,2016 and make tuition payment by 23rd June,2016. Initially i didn't want to accept the offer because the course is not that related to my UG degree or Work Experience, after waiting for other schools to offer admission without a response , my agent convinced me to go ahead with the application for study permit. i'm a chemical engineering graduate and work experience of over 5 years in HSE. The agent accepted the offer on my behalf but i didn't make any tuition deposit as requested by the school, THE SCHOOL STATED THAT FAILURE TO CONFIRM MY ATTENDANCE OR PAY FEES BY DUE DATE WILL JEOPARDIZE MY PLACE IN THE PROGRAM. so do you guys think it will affect my chances of getting a TRV? Although i hope to defer the admission til January having seen all the delays in TRV for PGD/PGC. I sometimes check this thread even before my application so i had some ideas concerning the applications but not as much as i know now,so i decided to write a good SOP to defend the reason for my choice of program considering that my UD degree and work experience is not that related. Generally from my application details what's my chances, Do you think i should get a new offer letter for January 2017 and send to CIC to backup my application? thanks to the gurus in the house |

Hello guys in the house, Please help me suggest a style of letter that my Dad could issue for me to support my visa application. I have all my documents ready, am sponsoring myself and i have enough funds to cover my tuition and living cost. Am going for PGC and i have m study leave already. My Dad is a permanent Secretary in my state and i feel his input in form of letter will be advantage to my application. |
