GraciousWords:

Please calmly read and digest page 1.

EE has 3 streams EE-FSW, EE-FST, EE-CEC.

EE-PNP may be considered to be a subset of EE-FSW, so the 67 eligibility points applies to EE-FSW (and EE-PNP by extension)....as I understand it. For EE you need to create an express entry profile...I'm not sure the system will let you create a profile with less than 67 eligibility points.

For EE-PNP read this post and the PNP thread (link is also on page 1). There are also other PNP schemes that are not related to EE. https://www.nairaland.com/6081746/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/692#105689364

Regarding Masters - again please see page 1, the only thing better than one Masters in an EE world is a PhD.

Thank you.

Please help! I am trying to understand the PNP route and have the following questions:
1) Must one have a minimum of 67 points to be able to apply through the PNP route or that is for EE only?
2) Does having two master’s degrees increase your score? I read that having a master’s degree can give you up to 21 points.

Thank you.
Properties / Re: Paradise Estate Abuja, Leaving Behind Tales Of Anguish To Subscribers In Abuja by MumJ4J: 7:12pm On Jun 14, 2021
Now that we have a lot of Paradise Estate employees and perhaps management on this thread, I would like to advise you all to concentrate your resources in completing the Paradise Boulevard Katampe and other old projects like the one the OP mentioned, instead of using old subscribers funds to open new project sites. You regularly send me adverts of your new project sites which make me wonder why you have refused to put more resources in Paradise Boulevard Katampe 3.

Your continuous inability to deliver projects in time is a breach of contract, and it distorts subscribers’ plans.

If you refuse to change many of us will start talking on socio media. It is Nairaland today, tomorrow it will be Facebook, Twitter and other social media. By the time we drag you to the court of public opinion, you will find it difficult to market your new projects.

Revise your strategy now and make quality and prompt delivery a priority, rather than continuous expansion that you do not have sufficient capital to fund.

@ OP, please create the WhatsApp link as I advised earlier. Thanks

@ OP, there are a lot of people in this category. But because subscribers do not have a forum to talk to one another like a WhatApp group, Paradise Estate keeps taking people for granted. Please create a WhatsApp link in the original post that subscribers can join and discuss how we can jointly sue Paradise Estate for flagrant breach of contract. This will reduce legal costs for individuals. Also, there is strength in number.

I am a subscriber to Paradise Boulevard Katampe, in Abuja

Alphabits:

They say don't use a calculator, buy you can make do with a small phone calculator for stuff like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Also, don't waste time, if you don't know a question, just pick any option and go to the next question (note that you can't go back to a previous question)
Use a pen and paper for solving too.

Good luck.

Please do you have any materials you can share to prepare for the CCAT? Thanks
Religion / Re: Living Faith Creates USSD CODE To Facilitate Offerings And Tithes Online. by MumJ4J: 2:11pm On Mar 27, 2020
These online platforms for collecting offerings are not new. I don't know what the people that brought this one up want to achieve.

But let me educate you about the administrative and accounting procedures of Living Faith Church which are RUN by members (these are called statutory bodies) and NOT pastors or Bishops.

In each assembly, there is:
1) a Church Board headed by an Elder:
2) a Local Church Council headed by a Deacon
3) a Financial Managemeny Committee headed by a member with professional knowledge in finance and accounting;
4) an Audit Committee headed by a member who should usually be a chartered accountant; and
5) a Deacons Board.

The heads and secretaries of statutoru body 1, 2 and 3 are the signatories to the Church's bank accounts. Some selected members from these bodies form the Budget Commitee which prepares the local assembly's annual budget and defends it at the State Head Church to secure approval.

It is through this approved budget that roads and church auditoriums are built, musical instruments, sound systems, medical gadgets and supplies are procured, and other needs of the local church are catered for.

The Winners Satellite Fellowship and the Hospitality Unit handle the welfare of members. Even as we speak now, members needs are being met through these platforms world wide.

I know all these because I have been in these statutory bodies in the past in my assembly.

Last year the Church planted more than 5,000 churches in Nigeria alone. This year we are planting more than 10,000. I believe the devil does not want this and that is why this is coming up. But he cannot prevail because Jesus will build His Church.

Congratulations to all the GTs that received an offer. To those who did not make it this time, know that it is not the end of world. If you believe in God and take THOSE certain steps you have been thinking of, you would one day look back at today's setback and laugh; you will have reasons to thank God again.

I'm talking from experience here. I lost an important opportunity years back that almost made me go into depression. But about a year later, I got a better position that was better than the one I lost. But that wouldn't have been possible if I had not missed out on the former opportunity.

So pick yourselves up, because the future is very bright.Cheers!

Romance / Re: Am I Making A Mistake? by MumJ4J: 9:29am On Dec 17, 2019
Based on your own assessment, you concluded that he loved you. That means, there is an iota of truth in his suspicion. There is an appearance, if not actual, unfaithfulness on your side. Those are the things that trigger his anger.

Work on yourself to remove those appearances and help him to trust you.

I know of somebody who used to beat his fiancee. Immediately after they got married, the wife broke her old sim card, changed her number and disconnected from some old friends that the man had complained about.

It's been almost twelve years of their wedding, the man has not beaten her once in marriage. They are happily married.

If he truly loves you, help him to trust you. You know what to do if only you are ready to sacrifice certain things. People do change.

P. 10 was really friendly and professional.

The first question was from my CV: do you want to stand with your claim of being proficient in SAP? I waited for some seconds as I was not expecting questions on my ERP proficiency. I said yes, and was asked to describe how it worked, which I did.
There was a situational question on audit process. Another one was on what I would do as an NNPC employee who had been tasked to lead an audit of a subsidiary. Also, a situational question on what I would do to a difficult subordinate.
The question on HSE was a tricky one: what would you do if you are assigned an office with many tables and chairs to the extent that you can hardly move about?
The last question from the Chief Panelist was on renewable energy (definition/description and 2 advantages).

GOD helped me to do my best and I trust HIM to perfect my appointment letter. Thank you Father in Jesus Name.

Guy rest, you'd be forming badoo here dey form meek for shell thread.
After all the McKinsey you go still beg for jarus interview coaching. undecided

The fact that he went for Jarus coaching shows he is the the type that always wants to learn from others; an important trait of great minds. That he is soliciting assistance on the Shell thread also buttresses this fact.

Please let’s enjoy the oil & gas conversations on this thread. Believe me, I have learnt so much on that front in the last 6 pages.

For example, I have never seen the kind of McKinsey interview questions on Jarushub until today. But I have done many interviews in my life. So please let those of us who want to learn enjoy the conversations. These guys are not abusing anybody but just sharing their experiences. Why do you think people write autobiographies?

As a matter of fact, if I were a GT I would be asking mosgoon about the ‘idea hub’ he previously mentioned. Information is what rules this world. Let’s take advantage of it when it is being freely shared.
Thanks

NNPC staffs generally are friendly set of being...I believe poverty have a stake why people are aggressive.
SS 3, SS 2 are supervisory level , SS 1 is supretendent.
Next time you must learn to prepare questions from home for the panelists, it is best to ask questions that tend to pose as a challenge such as Transportation of their products or Safety concerns. NNPC doesn't joke with Safety. They can pay darely for it (legal reasons)
I remembered advising some here that dressing was 10 marks and so putting on suit is the surest way to earn that ,in fact i once said go and lend . I can assure you merits is a must and a major target (Pressure from political Office holder can change this narrative most times but i repeat merit is a must). Recommendations is also part of the process and so don't argue.

Another committee will form the next stage .

Please did ‘do you have any questions for us’ carry any marks? Cos I said no but thanked the panelists.

As a matter of fact, I agree that giving out direct questions affects your chances, and gives another an edge to perform better.
However, what I have issues with is the fact that those who are screaming "ethics", "right and wrong" have all read other people's interview experience, and used it to prepare for theirs.

They only became righteous and objective all of a sudden because they don't want others to enjoy the privilege they've enjoyed.

Question for such guys
Would you be on this thread if people weren't sharing their experiences and questions?

I have applied for other jobs where I got far in the recruitment process because previous candidates shared their experience. I do well to drop my experience for posterity as well.

Just try to put some water in the well you drink from.
If you don't intend to do that, stay away from the well, or at least, don't put dirt in it.

So, I went through your posts and did not see anywhere you gave your interview questions for others to benefits. From Sterling Bank to Standard Charted Bank to KPMG to PwC interviews, I did not see you drop your interview questions!

Some of you think that you have gotten the job because the panelists shook your hand or applauded you or gave a signal that made you believe you have the job already. And therefore you came here to give the questions since you have already ‘aced’ your interview. You may get the shock of your life when offer letters start flying.
If you read 2012 recruitment thread, you would observe that interview questions were not discussed. Do you think they were stupid? There is a difference between opening your answer sheets for others to copy while in school and interviewing for a LIMITED number of vacant positions. While in school, I helped a lot of students pass their exams including students outside my department. But I can’t give out interview questions for so many reasons. One is that you may be lowering the chances of others even if not your own chance.
If you think you did not perform well, other candidates for the position may also not perform well, provided you have not given out your questions. That is what is called general failure. When there is a general failure, everybody still has a chance. I was not expecting to be called for this interview because of the number of questions I ‘thought l’ I missed in the CBT. But was pleasantly surprised when I got the invite. So don’t lose hope and trade your own chances by being foolish.
The foolishness of men is making God responsible for what He has given them power over; don’t blame God for your foolishness.
For your information I had my interview on the second day and was told I answered all the questions correctly. I plan to state the questions and my answers only after the whole interview process is concluded.
Please be wise. You are no longer a student; you are an applicant now. If I were you, I will go back and delete any interview questions I have given on this thread.
