Have you ever actually read God's declaration as far as marriage is concerned? You can find this in Genesis 2 vs 24 and Matthew 19 vs 4 - 5, and in both places, the only stipulation as far as the marriage contract is concerned is that a man abandon his family, and cleave to his wife - they both become one at that.

A marriage contract is an agreement made between a man and a woman, and so the moment a man and a woman decide to mate/cleave , they become man and wife according to God's own Law.

God no send anyone to get parent permission permission pay bride price or even all the other kwekwe ceremonies we dey add everyday to make money from marriage, including the ones in your churches - all that are man-made ideas and inclusions which have nothing to do with God at all.

So, in conclusion, if you really care about what God says, then yes, even a baby mama is indeed a wife since she and the man had to have cleaved in order to conceive that child.

Now this is very common where I come from, when a man is dating a girl, everyone calls her his girlfriend, but immediately they notice that she is pregnant, almost everyone automatically changes the word "girlfriend" to "wife" they start calling her our wife without paying any bride price.

And they feel very comfortable doing that, most couples pay dowry when they are old and some don't even pay at all. I don't feel comfortable calling someone's girlfriend "our wife" just because she has kids for him.

That's where some people argue with me, that is only natural for me to follow suit, I said I won't.

Elders and pastors in the house, is it right to call a girlfriend - "wife" ?

Does the Bible accept that?

Its funny, years ago, after drinking much, with my sister, I couldn't get up from the plastic chair, I can't remember how I managed but when I got close to the house, there is this small gutter line, in my eyes it was like a river, I told my sister "let's jump this river, if u enter this water I won't carry u" if u see jumping.....later got home and threw up almost everything, and slept with the clothes like that

. Divorce is not registered in the book of God. Therefore, any advice or whatever for divorced couple is nonsensical. It says for better for worse, so if you feel for one reason or the other your marriage can't work, it would have been better to not be married at all. Divorced couple are annoying (I'm being nice here), and it show incapacitation (holistically) of involved persons. I will never trust a divorcee with anything.

Don't conclude like that dear, sometimes divorce is inevitable, I've seen a case where a woman pretended for 4yrs while dating and turned to a beast in marriage, the man had to apply for divorce.

Also I've seen where a wife kept knife under the pillow to stab the husband because he cheated, told her and apologized yet she couldn't forgive him, they are my neighbors now they are divorced

People change after marriage, it has not happened to u doesn't mean u should condemn them

Women with the attitude of "I can't leave my husband" I just pity them.

Some women will feed the family, pay the children's school fees, pay all bills, yet the husband won't appreciate or value her. I asked some women selling in the market, "why they are always at the market come rain, come sun" some even with bruises and injuries yet they don't rest, the answer is they are the bread winners, with husbands that 80% don't care about the family.

If u are on this forum and u are passing through any form of abuse, please speak up and free yourself, don't die in any relationship, women are strong, we are pillars and should be respected.

I want us to discuss how we women tackle infidelity from the men at home, I know most women don't care, some even permit their men to cheat (I have witnessed it) while to some its heartbreaking and painful.

I'm an introvert but ladies still come to me for all sort of advice, I don't want to advice people with my limited experience so I want ladies to share how they tackle such issues at home, like what did u do after finding out.

Last year, I visited the mental health unit at FMC and what I found out was alarming, young married women passing through mental problems, depression, and all sort of disturbance their head couldn't carry. I cried bitterly, a particular lady caught my attention and when I asked they said she is going through divorce, she has sacrificed everything for this man but when he asked for divorce she became suicidal.

I can go on and on, so ladies in the house, how do you tackle cheating, divorce, neglect and so many other heart breaking situations.

Same in Bayelsa, no staff, after waiting for long, everybody find level
