When you say statement of 11 million, do you mean the average transactions for a month in the account is 11 million or the available balance is 11 million?

Thanks a lot .. The available balance is 11 million in different accounts ( 3 in total)

1. it's ur decision to make, upfront medical have no advantage as such just that when applying late applicants tend to do upfront medical so as to save time . so if u have the cash u can do it but if u aren't too boxed up rite now u can leave it till cic ask u to go for it. I can't answer the 2nd question, gurus in the house should help out

Thank you so much

Thank you very much .. But one more question please ..do you know how long it takes when ones spouse applies for work permit alongside the study permit application . I will appreciate your response

1. It depends on your schedule and patience level. Both medicals before submission and waiting till you are advised to undergo one are advisable. Which ever one you choose, it won't guarantee an approval of your application till a final decision is made.

2. If he is going to stay with you for the entire duration of your program, you will have to apply for a visiting visa for him. Us citizens can only visit canada without a visa for not longer than 180days. If stay exceeds this duration, a valid visa is required.

Hello everyone ... Please I would like to ask a few questions .
1. Is it advisable to do Medicals before applying for a Canadian visa ?
2 . My son is a Usa citizen and would be applying with me as a dependent ( a 2 years masters ) . Do I need to submit his Usa passport alongside mine . Basically I am asking if he needs a permit to travel as well .

Thank you in advance for the prompt reply ...

Can you ask for a month with no pay at your working place cos your baby is still young abeg, and most creches dont collect babies of less than 3months unless you are lucky to find one.but i still feel a creche close to your office is better than a nanny sha.Dont be tired dear. God will give you wisdom to make the right choice dear.It is well.

Amen thank u so much sad

just 9weeks ? where u not given maternity leave ? the baby is just too little to leave at home with a nanny. Creche nearby ur working place is the best. Hope ur office is not too far from home too. Cos driving with the baby for a long distance and with the kind of road we have in d country now. Where are ur MUm or MIL living ? they are better off wit than a nanny cos take will take more care of the baby. The Lord will help u

I don't AV a mum inlaw sad. My mum already spent 2 months with me in the USA . So she had to return to work . I just feel at crèche he won't AV full attention

If you av a creche at your workplace, pls go for it. Your mind will be at rest and you can always pop in to be with him. 1 nanny to 2 babies is ok. Leaving ur 9wks old for an absolute stranger to stay with at home alone is not advisable.

Thank u very much ...

for me, I'd take creche at my workplace over a nanny. reason being I'm closer to my baby at the creche and I can pop in from time to time to see how he/she is doing...(I'm guessing d nanny will be staying home wt ur baby when u go to work?)

Yes they will stay at home ... The crèche it's 1 nanny to about 2 babies ,,, I just feel he won't have maximum attention .. He will be 9 weeks old

One more thing you don't get to chose your doctor ... It's whatever doctor is on duty that sees you .

In the spirit of giving back . I am now back in Nigeria . I had my baby at renown hospital Reno . They have an ob/gynae package .goes as follows for CS and vagina delivery

Hospital fees : 6025 for 3 days stay and 3900 for vaginal

Doctor fees :300 dollars for CS and 150 for vaginal

Prenatal fees 800 dollars ;which include prenatal care , all lab work ( I did plenty .. Doesn't matter how many you do ) ,perinatologist referral ,ultrasound (2maximum), diagnostic testing and non stress test .

Circumcision fee: 200 dollars

Pediatrician fee: 100 dollars ( 2 visits at birth and at 2 weeks ... Includes all newborn test which is done twice ).

Anasthesia : 1500 but with self pay discount 1080
So I paid a total of 8050 for a cesarean section .

Thanks and I am open to questions . God bless all the mamas

Lol so apt ..... Like 3 times my husband has rescued me with food in the middle of the night ... My baby that eats like 12 or more times a day . Now what I do is drink water or orange juice at night . And fortunately I have dropped all but 1kg of my pregnancy weight at 3 and half weeks post partum due to breastfeeding .. I think the key is eating in moderation ...

feddy27:
Mitchyy,

This ur part 2 dieting tips, it sounds more like things from book and not experience.

Did you say some1 breastfeeding should not eat after 6pm Wen u av night feedings to do?

My dear, for the 1st 3 months wen breast feeding is active, you need evry energy giving food o!

Biko, don't diet when breast feeding! Strong thing never do you b4 cos of food. I'm speaking frm experience. When baby hs stabilised eating routine, you can then think of doin anytin.
