Finally i am now a mother! My beautiful princess success chinonso cat work out today @ 3:20am today,weighting 3.2kg,no tears,arrived at hospital 3:00am,gave birth 3.20am,i asked God for easy delivery,he answerd me,I don't know how I will thank this God..may God make it esay to all the pregnant women in this thread,Britneystacy my wonderful cappo I don born ooo

I greet you All my Sisters and mothers. ...it's been a wonderful journey so far. It may not have been completely perfect but there have been abundant reasons to be thankful to God who has done exceedingly well to bring us this far.....of course he didn't bring us this far to abandon us but rather to see us to the end of this journey successfully. ..so we will depend on him to the VERY END!
He has done it already for some of us ...mompurity2, udoomama and ijeomaobi1 ...we celebrate with them!

We should all be in week 37, 38, 39 and some approaching week 40 already....that means any of us can have our babies at any time from now,(babies are considered term from 37weeks) so we should all be ready. ..mum and baby essentials at least for the first 1month bought already. Baby should have been head down by now to increase our chances at trying a VD. ..

We will do our best to cooperate with our Doctor's and midwives as much as possible while we continuously pray for the best team to be with us on that day! When not sure of a suggestion by a Doctor or midwife , don't hesitate to come here to weigh the suggestions so as to be better guided.
Our goal has been mother alive, baby alive and father rejoicing. ...so whatever measures need to be taken to make that possible should be fully supported(CS included) ...
Please start your walks if you haven't already done so. Increase your kpekusing too if DH is readily available too. You can also do squats to help exercise the pelvic floor muscles tho it's not so easy cos of bump heaviness and pains in the legs.
That being said. ...wishing you ALL the best and nothing but the best.

I am 38wks +4days today. . .am excited and anxious. ..it's not been easy. ..started Maternity leave on Monday as I was over tired of preparing for work every morning. House chores have become a great deal of work too ...just managing to keep up. My baby's bag has been packed. ..but mine has not yet but I will do so once I return from ANC today...I do my walks at least 45mins too in the evening ...
I am ready for labour! !! Yes I am.....I want to hold my own baby and nurture with love .

Costco Kirkland diapers and wipes is all i'm using (shipped a couple of boxes) and i love it!. Wipes is way better than that of pampers, even my MIL noticed it. The Diapers comes in different sizes: 1,2,3.....Funny enough my 14weeks baby is still on size 1 though shez 13.3lbs

i think it all depends on the kids skin though. But It kept my babies dry and using it with Nigerian Cussons baby jelly worked like a beautiful dream...

My baby's bum is clear like a mirror... You can even see your reflection there.

And its cheaper too!!!

Their wipes nko? Beautiful as well. One carton of 12 lasts a long time!

Only way you can work this is by planning to travel there like some moms have done. You can't use an agent because they need to take your baby's photo at the embassy/consulate

there are Nigerian consulates in NY, ATL and DC that i've read of on this thread where mama's got passports for their babies after delivery.

They carry ur baby car seat and stroller free.you have two 23kg and one hand luggage, baby has one 23 kg , one hand luggage and a diaper bag of any size as long as u can it . tip- beg them to check in your hand luggage and baby's hand luggage. So you can carry the diaper bag and your hand bag . pls remembered you have a baby but if you have a stroller its easier for you.

Lufthansa should be able to check in baby's car seat and stroller free, provided u carry d baby with it, I mean not still in d cartoon. Cos I flew BA and it was free for my baby.U can also call them and find out

My mum would be laid to rest today 10,000km away from my present location. Im going to try to follow the procession online so id be MIA for a couple more days.

Good evening mamas,

I am a #teamseptember mum and just clocked 30 weeks. I have been experiencing severe pains since Monday around where my fibroid is located. I felt it a little in my first trimester but it wasn't this bad. The good part is that the fibroid is outside my uterus so it's not in any way harming the baby , but the pains I am having is excruciating.

I went to the hospital and the doctor did and ultrasound and said that the fibroid is degenerating and it usually causes a lot of pain, he prescribed some mild painkillers but it's not working. The pain lasts for about a minute and sometimes it comes every 5-10 mins. He said I just have to religiously use the painkillers as he cant prescribe anything stronger.

I don't know if any other person is experiencing this or if anyone has suggestions on how I can manage the pain. I have been praying that it doesn't continue till baby is full term cos I don't know how I would cope.

Fast forward to 1am, the early hours of Thursday 23rd the main tin started...Oh boy! The contractions were 6 to 5 mins and painful, I cldnt sleep o, I was jst praying and tanking God dat it wld soon be over. By morning I called my mum who is also a midwife and told her, I stayed home bearing the pain till around 11 am, by then I was seeing stars with each contraction and dey were 4 to 3 mins apart. Hmm na wrapper I drag with a shirt go hospital o, as d matron saw me she jst started lafn, askin me where my jeans nd makeup dey lol. I was checked and dey said I was in labour nd 4cm dilated... am like jst 4cm! Haba! With all dat pain..hmmmm
I was taken to d labour room and dey said dey needed to augment my labour na so dey knack me hot drip o..chai! Meanwhile my baby was still not properly engaged o, I was still feeling her legs under my rips. Arnd 3 or 4pm I was checked again and I was 6cm dilated, by den another woman had come in but she opted for an emergency CS. Another woman was brought in arnd that 4pm, by 8 or 9pm she had put to bed beside me an I was still seeing stars. I felt like I wnt leave dat room with my back o! two hot drips after and fully dilated by 10pm,my baby was still not showing o, I wasn't feeln dat urge to pooh like every1 talks abt, I cldnt pee as dey had to be helping me empty my bladder, all I was feeln was terribl backache with pressure. Dey were jst doing VE after VE to check, I can't count the number of VE's o! By 11pm my pillow was wet with tears, I was weak, I kept telln God 'dis was not ur promise to me'... I was directed to push with every pressure, I did o but no show, dey said my cervix was blocking d way and some oda grammer like dat. I jst told dem I have had enuf, I asked for an emergency CS, my mother inlaw now followed up and d doc was called to come to d hospital.
My sisters, God is truly faithful! Before d doc came in, I was already prepped for theater, I had brought CS pack, d lab had been contacted for blood, we were jst waitn for d doc o! One nurse jst came in with d 3rd woman to meet me in labour room, she knew my face from ANC classes, I jst called her to hlp remove the oxytocin, she jst took a glove and said she wanted confirmin wat was wrong, upon checkin she said it was a case of OPP, dat my baby was presentin with her forehead and so findin it hard to escape the cervix or sometn like dat, I was soo tired but all I knw is God used her nd in less dan 30 mins my baby girls was out after 24hrs of active labor. My baby came weighn 3.5kg at 12:44am of June 24th praise God!
The devil tried again o, had placenta retained, a huge chunck of it! I woke up Friday mrng in pains, went to change my pad and the tin dropped by itself. I was soo scared but I was checked and everytn was fine.

I hope imy story is not boring o! Lol. In spite of all d drama, I can't stop praising Him cus my God proved Himself faithful even at d last hour. Let us not forget to pray for d nurses nd doctors that wld hlp us my sisters. Wishn all pushn mama's safe, fast and easy Delivry IJN! And may God bless our ATC sis IJn
