I applied for expedited interview ... I told them my doctor advised me to travel at most 30 weeks because of my health conditions as well . And they replied me that same day and gave me appointment for 5 days later . Try ur luck
quote author=Tmmum post=45949653]Egba mi oooooooo

I went for my interview yesterday in abj but was turned back cos I made an error on my appointment form...I still can't explain how I filled my visa payment receipt number instead of my ds 160 number. I was told to wait for two days for my visa receipt to be revalidated before I can reschedule another appointment .although my receipt is yet to be revalidated but I can see that the next available date is July 12 in abj and June 27 in Lag. I am considering using the expedite option to book an appointment as I am currently 29weeks gone.
Pls does anyone have any info on expedite option for the purpose of childbirth? Pls help a jjc[/quote]

thanks a lot

It depends on your baby
I used pampers swaddlers from NB to size 1..Il rate it very good, it's absorbancy is excellent but my baby had diaper rash so I switched to huggies little snugglers which suited her skin...I attempted using pampers swaddlers again in size 3 and the diaper rashes reappeared again so I just abandoned it
IMO, pampers swaddlers absorbs well but huggies is softer and absorbancy is also good
From size 3..I used huggies little movers not snug and dry, which I will rate excellent...it absorbs VERY well, it VERY soft and it has large wings which prevents leakage

Il rate Huggies Little Movers higher than pampers cruisers

Let her apply and explained what happened a year ago and try as much as possible to meet all requirements.

There is nothing an immigration lawyer will do for her a year after the incident
Thank you so much

Thank you very much God bless

chances are still ok... she just need to explain her situation in the additional information box..(maybe a personal letter) and more also, she needs to accept her ignorance about not declaring her pregnancy state when applying as she did not know she is required to do so and she intend not to furstrate the immigration law anymore.

She should re-apply and she will be fine....

On the other hand.... Giving birth in the UK does not add any thing at all to the child except if the child is for a British national. Anyways good luck to your sister and am sure she will be ok.

Thank you very much I really appreciate .

*Smiles*...Probably your sister was going to put to bed in the UK, which was not a bad idea. Nigerians often like hiding this from the ECO because of the non-appearance nature of their visa processing, most times. If it were to be US Consulate, she would have been refused during the interview, provided she had compelling evidences of health care coverage and/or enough bills that would take care of her delivery and postnatal care, while in their country. I have had instances where Nigerians became liabilities to the Hospitals in the UK and USA after delivery( I witnessed that of USA because it was close to my apartment in Buffalo, Upstate NY in 2004). Embassies often receive reports of such concurrences and forward same to their home and overseas mission offices. Now, I am not saying your sister was not buoyant enough to foot her bills. She ought to have explained to the ECO of her condition ( even though she was not going to put to bed while in the UK). She could have still been issued her visa . These people crave transparency and honesty much. No embassy issues visa in Nigeria, same with other countries where they have mission offices. Upon approval of your visa, your information would be forwarded to their home office for visa issuance. The Information and the code your visa comes with, will now be printed on the sticker which they always keep here so, copies of every information you presented during your visa processing are also available at their entry borders which was why your sister was caught. However, no hope is lost yet. The same happened to my cousin's wife but in US. She did not tell the VO she was going to put to bed when she was applying for her NIV. She was caught and was refused when she reapplied because the VO discovered she overstayed. It was on record that she was going for a week training programme and that she was also pregnant at the time she appeared for the previous interview but she did not say she was going to put to bed. When the VO asked her, she did not know what to say as the question caught her unawares. I told her to wait for 3 months after which she could reapply and write a letter that she lied and asked the VO to pardon her. She reapplied and another VO asked her the same question and she quickly apologised and the VO said it's ok. Her visa was approved( 2 years Multi). Kindly forgive me if my explanation is somewhat harsh as I will never tell you lies...after all, you came for a solution and I believe there are many others in this forum who are also straightforward and would advise you appropriately . It does not matter if your sister was going to put to bed in the first place( or even now) or not, simply tell her to write a letter, addressed to the ECO that she was sorry as she did not mean to hide anything from the ECO,bla, bla, bla. Engaging immigration lawyer is not necessary, except she has some money to blow. She should also pray for favour whenever she reapplies. Good luck to her

Hello every one ... Please I have a question .my sister was turned back at the point of entry a year ago at the uk border . She was pregnant and was going to see her mum ...her visa was immediately revoked ... They said her offense was that she did not inform them that she was pregnant during her submission ... ( she got a 6 months visa ) her first attempt . Now she's trying to reapply again ... Please what are her chances ? Should she seek the help of an immigration lawyer ? Thanks .

Childbirth and receiving healthcare in the us is legal. So long as u pay.
Since you were upfront you shouldn't have any problem except u can't prove that u can pay all your bills. So go with as much cash (best option) as u can or other verifiable proof. Safe trip
Thanks a lot mam

i think you are pretty safe. came in through houston poe on the 5th told them it was for child birth. have evidence of your ability to pay. you might spend time before secondary inspection or might go through at once. i had 7k that was counted and checked for authenticity. lol. you should be fine.
Thanks a lot .... Paid half of my bills ..(3k) and remaining 2200... Plan to hold 6k as well cos I will be staying with my aunt and she's taking care of accommodation and feeding . Thanks a lot
