Optimal solution

The Farmer-Cattle Herder clashes were recorded as early as 1051 CE (967 years ago). The resultant massive destruction of lives and properties today is as bad as it was 967 years ago. The conflicts are basically driven by tussle to control economic factors – land and water.

Religion and ethnicity; however, just as in the past, remains a strong and effective tool in rallying people into oppositions, efficient in launching deadly attacks. But we must understand religion for what it is – a tool, not the problem. The problem is scarcity.

So to resolve, the Farmer-Cattle Herder clashes, our generation must consider the role of climate and seasons and their impact on production of grass for cattle. We must explore ways in which technology could balance out scarcity.

The Herders must understand that its a business and must be willing to bear expenses of feeding and Ranches construction to restrict mobility of the cows..

Cow has one of the most profitable value chain they need massive reorientation..

When there is segregation of duties corruption is reduced.

It will be hard to eradicate completely but once you give room for meritocracy things will change bit by bit..

This is a technocrat with a deep knowledge of education. I doff my hat.

I am very sure this is your field.

Do you know anything about charter schools or school vouchers? Can they work here in view of the high level of corruption and mediocrity in many areas?

Right !

Education is the bedrock of any economic development.. Our greatest resource is not oil but our mind... We need to go back to the drawing board and have a complete overhauling of our university system.

Build a strong Internal control and periodic personnel Audit for the Teaching and Non teaching staffs..

Attaching Lecturer remuneration to student performance and intellectual development and beneficial progressive research.

Segregating duties of Lecturer,The lecturer marking should not be the one teaching..There should be a different department marking exams script and review the results in case of mistakes and error in grading..

Any lecturer caught accepting blocking or having sexual relations with a student should be JAILED and all his qualifications withdrawn!.

All department should have a highly skilled Technocrat with an enormous industry experience,he can be a visiting lecturer to teach the Ultimate students and transfer practical knowledge and prepare them for the real world...

FG should invest massively in STEM education. STEM is the new oil..

FG should set up a technical committee comprising of Expert with vast experience in each field of study to look into each Department syllabus and academic time table, they should remove all irrelevant topics and add more practical topics..They should build the syllabus in line with current world standard.

The University campus should have a Metropolitan Area network to enable student carry out research and have access to many e-learning facilities..

The University should have an effective Human Resource Department were employment will be based only on merit and intellectual ability, organising workshop training and sending some lecturers to further abroad,a more robust remuneration and incentive to motivate them,Promotion should be based purely on Practical and innovative research that will help industry and economy not mere "copy" and paste" journals.

France produces 80,000 engineers and 70,000 Ph.D.s every year, and one in three now create business..FG should start fuelling the entrepreneurship spirit among students because its the only panacea to the high unemployment rate.

FG need to start running our Educational sector like business,we need to focus more on this sector.

I sincerely pray that we don't end up becoming slaves to the Chinese many years down the line. We're taking too many loans all secured on our prime assets if I got the terms right.
You are right

We have governors, they go to China and spend one month on a tour and come back with MoU on debts.

“China will lend you $1.8b to build light rail. This light rail will be done by workers from China, the trains will come from China, the engines will come from China, the labor will come from China while the driver is Chinese. “At the end of the day, what do you benefit from them? Your citizens will ride on a train and when you ride on a train in northern Nigeria, in a state like Kano or Katsina, where are you going to? You are not going to industrial estate to work. You are not going to school. You are not going to the farm. You borrow money from China to invest in trains so that your citizens can ride on them to go for weddings and naming ceremonies.”
