I don't know how to put this but conventionally, You (your family) haven't been pushed to the wall. There is always the right thickness of rod to smite an obstinate Brat. I don't know why you haven't gone to the barrack to get a few uniformed No-nonsense Army men to deal ruthlessly with him. If you follow this forum always, you will see that people post stop rates at the end of a bidding day. Those stop rates for the different terms (91 days, 180 days and 364 days) will be a guide for you in choosing your own rate for the next bidding day

I believe it is better to choose your own rate than leave it at the mercy of your bank. If you know the previous stop rate, then you can bid at a little below it.

My personal investment philosophy is to always put money I will not need for a long time, so I always go for 364 days.
