Senate only have power to confirm Magu or not but they cannot remove him meaning Magu can remain in acting capacity..
Yes of course the Senate can not remove him but note that his days as acting EFCC chairman are numbered.

bashydemy:
I guess you did not understand sagay point, He is not controlling Senate or tell them what to do, He is only telling them with or without their confirmation Magu will continue his work till the end of his tenure.
I agree with you but you should know that the approved time frame for acting capacity of EFCC chairman is 6 months and Magu's name has been sent to Senate since July this year, which means if the Senate does not confirm him, then he has to go back to his police work

Stalwert:
Yes he is even bigger than all the politicians you look up to
I look up to no politician and I believe Prof Sagay has no relevance even though he heads the presidential anti-corruption advisory committee. He has no right whatsoever to control the National Assembly. If the National Assembly says no to Magu's confirmation, then NO it is.

Prof Sagay's opinion holds no water in this matter, the best he can do is to advise PMB on choice of another suitable candidate.
PoliticsRe: Sagay: Magu Will Be EFCC Chairman Whether The Senate Likes It Or Not by munezo(m): 9:34pm On Dec 15, 2016
Who is Prof Sagay and how can he achieve that?

Is he bigger than the Senate?

The top bank in Nigeria at the moment in terms of everything is Stanbic Ibtc.

NB: They don't offer everything you may need as consumer needs are insatiable but if all other banks frustrate you, Stanbic will give you a more fair deal.
I concur absolutely
InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by munezo(m): 10:16am On Dec 08, 2016
Don't stress yourself with banks that do not want you to invest in TBills via primary market.

Go for tested banks that will even allow you to choose your bidding rate.

I tried Diamond bank they failed me and I never went back there. I do my TBills dealings with Stanbic IBTC now.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: I Got The Police Job, Now I'm More Confused by munezo(m): 5:15pm On Dec 07, 2016
My guy,

It may be difficult to get someone to finance your business dream.

Join the Police, if you are the one who wrote all this grammar, then you are intelligent enough not to suffer in the force.

Decide on the amount you need to set up your business and give yourself like 10 years in the Police to save and raise the finance for the business.

If you follow this plan, then by 10 years time, you can kickstart your business on a part time basis. When it grow big enough, you may then decide to resign from Police and go into business full time.

Remember, the Police will open doors for you, that no business man can open for you.

Be guided, all the best.

Congrats!

FamilyRe: Urgent Advice Needed: Should I Wait For Her? by munezo(m): 11:30pm On Nov 03, 2016
Oga Loveprotocol,

Sometimes this is not the best place to get counsel. I have read comments and I am really disturbed.

As far as I am concerned, you have seen your wife. I assure you she loves you more than you love her, her friend already confirmed that to you. She is only taking her time because of her past hurt. Please stay with her and assure her with whatever means you can, that she is yours.

Please do not be disheartened by some replies you got here, she is your wife, don't brood over some bad belle comments here, I beg you. Stay with her.

Sometimes, this is not the best place to get sound counsel, I tell you.

Please, I say it again, stay with her. She wants you to prove yourself beyond every reasonable doubt.
FamilyRe: Urgent Advice Needed: Should I Wait For Her? by munezo(m): 11:02pm On Nov 03, 2016
She already likes you and is just playing along with the IGG (Initial Gra Gra) principle. I hope you are not too fast to have quickly mentioned marriage to her, because you are supposed to consider a lot of things before you say the mega magic word to her.

All the same, keep her on your trail, go see her and get words out if her mouth because you have to know her, very important.

All the best

Go ahead and marry her since you both love each other and she is ready to submit to you sacrificially even though she earns more.

Take your job hunting serious too, you will get a better job with time. If the job does not come fast, think of a side business you can do to support your salary.

All the best.

Yes those figures refer to the people who went with the bank's rate. I did not go with the bank rate. All in all, the news is still good.

samkay12:
I'm not sure i understand why this good news.
Doesn't their rate of 18.10 being lower than 18.2 mean "bad news" for you?
Or do those figures only refer to people who went with the Bank rates and you have ended up with 0.1% more
Right?
InvestmentRe: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by munezo(m): 7:49am On Sep 15, 2016

CareerMark Zuckerberg Live In Lagos by munezo(op): 10:03pm On Aug 31, 2016
"God gave you a brain, so that you will give him a break" - Bishop David Oyedepo

The owner of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg is in Lagos a you are reading this. He is the 6th richest human on earth today. This is because he decided to use his brain to solve a problem in the world.

You need to do your own thinking to solve problems in your environment so that you can be successful. Remember Mark is a young person like you.

Now, ask yourself this simple question, where do you see yourself 5 years from today?
If you can not answer it now, put on your thinking cap and create a 5-year plan for your life.

Your plan will make you see why some of the things you do today, friends you keep, places you go to, books you read are the reasons you are where you are today.

Create that 5-year dream today and work towards it, because everyone can be successful.

All the best.

Pls house, is there any bank that accept less than N1m to bid for TB? I have been to 3 banks I have account with : Fidelity, Zenith & Access but the first 2 require minimum of N1m. However Access accepts less than that but only offers secondary market @ rate of 13% for 83 days tenor.
I needed to bid in the primary market for this next window.
If there is any other bank that accept less amount, can you tell me.
Thanks
Please go to Stanbic IBTC, they accept from 100k upwards and you are at liberty to bid by yourself

Engineer you do not have to be angry, it is one of those things. Not all banks will inform you of the outcome, that is why you are here to get info that your bank may not even be aware of. Now that you know your bid did not sail through, kindly prepare for the next bid.

EngineerT:
even if they don't allow, aint their rates competitive enough? secondly, when i last inquired, once they perceive you know what you're doing, they let you be. that I can't say about GTB. would you believe i Started this process on Monday and went there 2 other days consecutively to ensure everything went well , yet nothing came out. i hate to waste my time on futility, not after having diligently studied and did my homework before venturing into this activity. if there is any GT B staff here, come and defend your institution because i am not taking this likely at all.. its so annoying.

Meanwhile, Hausas are not too good in terms of 419, I can trust them better than other tribes including mine.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Should I Pay Him N500,000 For A Job? by munezo(m): 7:05am On Aug 19, 2016
It sounds very good since the hausa man gave you his official email to send your documents.

I will advise you to give it a try, since your friend has already given you 50k to pay the initial deposit.

Pay the man the 50k to book the slot but beg him to allow you to pay the 450k balance in instalments as soon as you resume and begin to receive salary.
You can beg him to allow you pay him 50k monthly until you complete the payment.
