EMMAACHILE:
200 broilers cannot finish 90 bags in 12 weeks. That is the fact here. The guy should estimate max 60 bags to attain 2.5kg averagely around the 10th to 12 week.

If his projection is right, nobody will be raising broilers for business.
You are very correct!. 200broilers will need 1200kg of feed to attain more than 2kg @8weeks. going by Nigerian standard. 1200/25kg =48bags of feed. to feed them for another one month to reach 12weeks cannot take more than 13bags even if u decided to waste feed.
48+13= 61bags at least. And can exceed if u encountered serious bacteria infection like coccidiosis species etc., which causes serious weight loss and demands more feeding to achieve target weight.

My cucumber are stunted in growth compared to the previous batch Tho I did those ones in sack. Above are pictures of my plant. I applied npk as basal application at planting and also urea at 2 weeks. I apply fungicide and insecticide between 3-6 days interval depending on the issue at hand. Please your inputs will be gladly appreciated. Thanks

good day OP!.
having gone through your thread i can a lot of things went wrong. first of all at planting stage you don't need NPK. what you need is organic compost or composted animal dropping(fowl dropping or cow or pig droppings ). get them or any you canblay your hands on and work them up with your soil. to improve the soil fertility. then you plant.
If you want to bringing artificial fertilizer dat should be from 15days old of your plants. and its just 1/2 or 1teaspoon 4inches away from plant stem to avoid plant burning as seen in your last two pics. The yellow border line at the edge if the leaves indicates serious reaction from excessive use of NPK and UREA fertilizer. Most times liquid fertilizers are preferred at the early stage say before 15days. Again the insecticides you are using. improper dilution with water and regular use of it on plants can pose a big risk of stunting plants growth by harming beneficial microorganisms on the leaves surface. I will advise you can use it ones in a while especially when there are no signs of insect attacks on the plant. The make provision of adequate water supply especially in the morning if a sunny day besiege.
Get some weeds in your farm cutt off the roots, soak them in a bucket of good water and leave to ferment for atleast 2weeks. strain out the water rich in Nitrogen and beneficial microbes. use them as soil drench on your plants twice a week. Then if you need some organic and super rich fruit fertilizers check up organicfoods on this AGRO section.
Please desist from use of NPK especially at that early stage of planting. and also, wrong use of UREA. They can wreck your good work.

Cabbage Update:

The cabbage heads are now very visible and firm. Issues of snails and slugs still comes up once in a while (still looking for the perfect remedy), aside that, everything seems to be doing just fine.

Tomato Update:

It's just lovely to see the tomato plants doing excellently well. Staked a few, while the heights keeps increasing daily. Spraying with my mixture of baking soda and vegetable oil is a routine I engage myself with every two days (can't give room diseases).
very lovely my keen interest is on the cabbage. how old are they currently?.
for your tomato is it determinate or indeterminate?.
also, to avoid not risking fungal infection, check the leaves closer to ground level. gently prun out those little or slight discoloration. because they are getting more nutrients than required and pose a risk for fungal attack in addition to sharing nutrients the fruit will use in growing large and early maturity.
Again if you can culture a lactobacillus serum or indegenious micro organisms, it well help you prevent bacteria attack, remember tomatoes are vulnerable to fungal and bacteria attack specially in this rainy season. kudos!

F1 Victory Cabbage Update (Day 69):

Finally, the head formation kicks in. I was beginning to have doubts; will this cabbage develop heads at all? Well, everything thing seems to be fine with the cabbage after all. The head formation is clearly visible now. Patience seems to be the key.

URGENT PLEASE:
Does anyone have a quick and fast way of eradicating snails/slug infestation? I am beginning to see a few munching on my cabbage lately.
wow, cool. get egg shells enough, grind but not into powdered form. grind into particles that can cause a prickly effect and form a kind of fencing surrounding the plants by dropping on the ground. i bet u snail will totally avoid crossing over to feed on the nutritious leaves of the cabbage. u can as well spray a solution of neem containing hot pepper on the plants often. to prevent army worm also especially now the head formation is in.
again, do a routine hand picking of snails hiding on the surrounding plants at least 5-6feet away from the the cabbage plants.

Again the plants look green and healthy, no cause for alarm nutrients wise.

Agriculture › Re: The 2years Old Original Apple In My Dad Compound by Munzy14(m): 11:05pm On Jul 19, 2017
UrennaNkoli:
Thats not the conventional apple we all know. Its a sub specie of apple. I cant really remember the name.
It's not far from a bigger specie of bell apple. the common variety we all know.
the green apple, only sprouts in cold region like mangu in jos, plateau state. and it takes 5-7yrs to fruit.
before fruiting, it is first of all pollinated with a swam of bees. which is the reason why it fruits in excess, from few inches above the ground down to all branches. its height is similar to that of a good fruiting orange tree.
for u to break the dormancy of the seed u need a temperature similar to that of a refrigerator.

Every strong fertilizer can be toxic to plants. Fresh chicken manure is not as strong/toxic as Urea or NPK fertilizer. The key to using any strong fertilizer safely is to either dilute it with more water/soil/carbon, or to bury it in the ground at a safe distance from your plant roots

Corn is less prone to nitrogen fertilizer burn than most plants:
