Yes now,that is what the judge that gave the verdict in favour of muslim students indirectly ask for.He should not have placed one religion above another.

How does the judge favour Muslims? Even if CAN see irregularities in the judgement is the next thing to do declare the students under its umbrella to violate the rulings of the law? I thought the best thing it could have done is to fight for Appeal rather than causing unnecessary problem. It was not forced on the Christians to wear hijab its only the Muslims who wishes to do so,and it is their fundamental right ordained by God. What did CAN wanted to see in their hair? Does it make them more brilliant or not? Why the stress,if they wear the choir gown for a 3 days and do sport and labour with it nobody will tell them its not meant for the purpose, or the masqueraders when they can't even see the board very well. So next time learn how judge a matter according to the law, where there is no law there is no sin.

The concept of the sin of the father shall be visited on his sons and generation seems like an unjust judgement...

Why must the punishment for the evil sins of a father who killed, looted, commited adultery and so on, be melted on an innocent child who has no control over the family he enters into and has not commited any sin ?

Why shld the doer not be punished for his offence ? There are scenarios in the word where even after the father sins and he is forgiven, punishment will still be pronounced on the unborn children even up to the 4th generation ?

I thought we are wonderfully and beautifully made ,why make some innocent child the scapegoat of an ancestral curse ?

Why won't it be so? Its only the good deeds we want to share but the other side no. Why are you so much to inherit your fathers wealth? Which can as well make your next 3 generations rich. Most especially in Nigeria today's politics its only rotating in the same cycle because of what the leaders have done b4. In Ekiti state for example former Governor Adebayo was a son to a former Governor south west region, Tinubu a former senator her daughter step in the same shoe, and am very sure some of their next generations will still benefit from the legazy he has laid but because it is a POSITIVE LEGACY we did not see it as a bad thing so if he has done bad so the bad deed will follow the family name anywhere they go. In most cases if you enter someplaces just say am a son or daughter to mr so so so and so, maximum respect will be acknolegde to you and you will be so proud of your dad or mum. But if he has done wrong definately you will dance to the tunes... More reason to always be of good conduct to protect your upcoming innocent generations. Yoruba proverb will say "oruko rere dara ju wura ati fadaka" good name is better than gold and silver. Protect yours, protect your next generations, make good names and fortune for them as you could.

We are thinking of completely banning the promotion of forex trading and sports betting on Nairaland.

Forex day-trading and sports betting are fundamentally fraudulent because they're promoted as a quick way of making money whereas due to mathematical facts, the only people who make money are the middlemen and marketers. The "investors" almost always lose their money.

In our experience, it's not enough to warn Nairaland members about the dangers of forex day-trading and sports betting. The promise of quick profit is just too much for thousands of vulnerable Nairaland members to resist. The only way to protect them is complete censorship.

We believe that the complete ban of such content will make Nairaland a better platform for discussing legitimate entrepreneurship and finance.

I think the major reason so many things are tagged 18+ is the ability for you to take consequence(s) of the actions you take. Don't sell cigarette to under 18 we knew its not good but can't be banned, romance section is tagged 18+ why? Explicit and raunchy images and topics are been discussed is it worth it? So many explicit topics in romance section and the so called sport betting tips won't ever reach front page. If you go to Romance session its for your good if you enter any section that is age restricted anything you see you bear it. So oga Seun its your web you have the final decision do it as you like, but no EFCC, ICPC, DSS, POLICE, or any enforcement agency will ever arrest you for making money through betting or prediction because, it is allowed in Nigeria. But Religion wise not allowed. So choose your choice.
