Politics › Re: Presidency: It Is The Turn Of North Central, Says Saraki by Murphyenemuwe: 6:57am On Apr 27, 2022 |
What do you mean by specifically? Politics is a craft. And power isn't given by threat or coercion. Despite the fact that the north central has 6 states compared to your 5 states they've never produced the president. And they never threatened the peaceful existence of the country. Cantonese: Nonsense talk.
How is the the turn of the north central? Is the north central not part of the north anymore? Going by the same idea of rotation that they instituted themselves, the north has about one year to complete their current turn and the presidency returns to the South, specifically the South East.
Without doubt, Nigeria was never ready for democratic governance. The once peaceful cohabitation of the people of divergent tribes and cultures has been completely destroyed by these set of wicked and greedy men and women. They are the ones who enforced tribalism in the hearts of the people. They are the same people who claim that tribalism is killing Nigeria.
Atiku unjustly wants to contest, Saraki & Jonathan want to contest, Tinubu & Osinbanjo want to contest and without doubt, it is the turn of the South east, others having enjoyed their turn in this democratic dispensation.
Nigeria needs a General Rawlings type of person who should sweep away these all Nigerian greedy leaders, so that we can have saner minds and begin afresh. |

You claimed not to allow sentiment override common sense but in the real fact there's common sense in what you said. Democracy is a game of numbers. It's not traditional title. You must learn to bargain and negotiate. Two regions in the northern part ever produced president till date. Now a region that sees being diplomatic as being stupid wants to become president. We have two major religions in the country Islam and Christianity. And this particular region demonizes Islam. How can they produce the president. They have issues with ijaws and Yorubas. Na only Dem Waka come? They even have to threaten the whole country, who does that? Until they sit back and strategize nothing is going to happen. ImDStar: Let me make it clear today, the reason why I am strongly supporting South East particularly Peter Obi is for justice and fairness.
I am a Yoruba and proud at that, but I won't let sentiment override common sense. Obasanjo did eight years, Osinbanjo eight years, and you said another westerner should continue while you screem fairness?
Let your conscience speak to you. |

APC is no longer Islamic party. No Igbo presidency take it or leave it Ezeama400: Tribalising political parties are one of the major tools that caused political crisis in Nigeria in 60's..
That is Why in this modern democracy, any political party no matter how small it is must have offices in all 36 states of federation and members must be from the 36 states across the country for inclusive sake to avoid repeating of what Nigeria went through years back..
As long as Igbos are members of APC, they have right to contest, vote and to be voted for in the party they are loyal to ....... |

At that point you begin to even doubt yourself if you really did it. I can't forget that fateful Saturday. It was during normal Siwes program after ND1. Chelsea vs Wigan 2010. I was relating the issue to some folks after 5yrs in the university and I was crying as if it happened 2 days ago. Remembered I saw the girl on Facebook few years after and I told her she will never bare fruits in her lifetime. But I don't think curses work cos that my uncle and his wife relocated to UK afterwards.
Wickedness also lies in the hearts of little children, you would be surprised what these kids are capable of doing This just brings back memories of an ugly incident that happened many many years ago when I went for holidays at my aunts place , there was this little girl who happened to be the daughter to my aunt’s friend , can’t even remember her name …she was so playful and outspoken for her age and everybody commended that , she would say things you would never expect her to say being the little girl that she is and everybody liked her. On this fateful day, this girl had tried being playful around me and I really was in a bad mood at the time so I shunned her. Out of the blues, My aunt and this girl’s mother summoned me for a talk, I got in the room and the girl was there, my aunt asked "what have you been doing with her(the girl)" I was taken aback by the question cause it didn’t make sense to me ..I answered and said , "I don’t understand Ma", then she asked the little girl to repeat what she just told them and when she started talking, I just stared In disbelief cause I couldn’t wrap my head around what I was hearing and immediately I knew I was in trouble …her words “this uncle came into our room and locked the door, he pushed me on the bed and started touching me and told me not to tell anybody that he likes me" Haaaaaa!!! was the only thing I could say because I was dumbfounded and scared at the same time, I almost burst into tears , they thought I wanted to cry because I was guilty… I was teary because how on earth was I going to convince anybody that this little girl was lying. She gave such specific and exact details that I was almost doubting myself, if I were a random person listening to this , I would 100% believe this girl, I just went on my knees and I was swearing by everything I believed in but I could see from their faces that nobody believed me. Till date I’ve not yet figured if someone put her up to it or she came up with that herself , that was the last time I saw my aunt, the little girl and her mom , I never visited again…she’s dead now, she died of cancer …May her soul Rest In Peace ….it’s sad that she died having it at the back of her mind that I was that kind of person, pretty sure that little girl would be way grown up probably in the university by now, a lil note if she ever comes across this story which she probably wouldn’t remember, “you almost ruined my life“ From that day to this day, little kids scare me more than adults …the devil lives in little children!!!! Never forget!source: Twitter @InvestorKpk https://twitter.com/InvestorKpk/status/1517492718645174272?t=9miAe-vRHJNXp9q8uKQQSw&s=19
|

Head the structure and he negotiated with it . Stop blackmailing people emotionally this is business wake up Rugaria: You're still in talking about a United South after this:
Some of us from the rest of the "realistic South" can be carried away like Bola Tinupoo and co sometimes. There is nothing like Southern Nigeria! It has never existed in modern Nigeria. The earlier the people of the south east and the south south realize this, the better for all of us.. The South West seems to be totally enmeshed in the business of truncating the political fortunes of the South East. They are also desperate to loot the oil resources of the former Eastern Nigeria just like the north! So where is the common ground as "southerners".
The South West got us all into this mess because of their unending desperation to hyjack everything that is deu the South. They couldn't stand Jonathan and have to use their media and treacherous politics to unravel his administration. They will do so again if the opportunity arises. The best alternative for the former Eastern Nigeria is to approach the emerging political war as a unit and only use the South West as allies when convenient! Discard them like tissue papers as quick as you are done with them because their vaulting political ambitions will always encourage them to attack you from behind at your weakest moments.. |
