As for the bold, I am just seeing the page. Maybe many people have not seen it yet. So, the fact that it hasn't been modified does not mean that it is correct.

You can't call it mischievous since you don't even know how true it is yourself..you should rather say u can't verify now..but every other thing there is correct so is most likely correct

I get u..but atleast every other information there is verifiable and correct which makes this one to be true, if not it would have been taken down long before now

If there is any evidence, the person that last modified the page would have provided a link. But check the page, the references are very few and none seemed to contain a lead to the site where the editor had gotten his information.

Someone merely modified the page and included Eto's name. The admins mostly don't take this seriously since the page is unprotected.

Is not about admins..if it was wrong people would have most likely argued about it and Wikipedia would have taken it down..so far it stays is correct

The guy is right in some ways. Anyone can edit unprotected Wikipedia pages, and many Wikipedia pages are unprotected and created by people like you and me. Any ordinary person can create a Wikipedia page for Ebonyi or even any state in Nigeria and anyone can edit the page.

That is why it is always advisable not to use Wikipedia pages for school works. I know of foreign universities (lecturers) who don't like quotes picked straight from Wikipedia. When I was doing my master's, a lecturer specifically warned me never to quote directly from Wikipedia ever again.

Ok.. noted..but the focus should be whether the information is right or wrong , for Wikipedia to leave it open to he edited, it means new information is supposed to be added which isn't a bad idea

Why not try to check if you can edit it, we're not even arguing about the ability to edit it,..afterall Wikipedia left the ability to edit for a reason so that new information can be added

The focus should be if the information is right or wrong

@OP propaganda everyday will make politicians work less. The governor should invest more in lives of Ebonyi youths to get them out of the street hawking. Planting of flowers, building roundabouts and street lights is good, but the people are poor they need to be empowered to be self-employed.

There is no state you don't find poor people in Nigeria, the only difference is the percentage.. believe it Nigerians are generally poor, even those you think that don't hawk and own shops are poor, just say poverty get grade, ..Are you suggesting the governor should abandon what he's doing and be sharing money up and down to people?... Nigeria's economic performance and wellness of the people is more centred on what the FG does as it is in total control of the resources and not the states..so let's not deviate and focus on what is at hand..

Umahi is really transforming Ebonyi in all ramifications, there is no need to deny that...one good thing about the transformation is that every nook and cranny of the state isn't left behind ...he should sustain the momentum and make sure the next governor after him adds to his fits
