pappilo: Liar
Now I know why people are suspicious of stories on Nairaland. No one will make an after tax offer to you in the UK. You either pay through PAYE or you sort out your own tax outside IR35. In both cases your offer will be your gross annual salary.
Tell me I am a hater but no one is offering you a £90,000/year job in the UK from Nigeria simply because you are 'tech bro', Whatever dafuq that mean. I dont care if you can write perfect API code straight from sleep or you are a developer, SDET, BA, Architect, PM all rolled in one.
I thought as much |

Threebear: Education is highly overrated. Shakespeare the greatest writer in the world wasn't even educated. If Nigerians put a lot less efforts acquiring certificates that most often than not end up dusty at the bottom shelf of some room and actually used it to advance creativity, our economy would be a lot better. Seriously education in Nigeria is overhyped, even the British that brought the said education don’t even acquire more education as we Nigerians. Seriously regretting the good five years I wasted in the university. |

crazymommy: i can't say whether the guy is lying or not but what i don't understand is that why do many people like you here assume any nairalander can never know a celebrity personally or know the celebrity family member personally or girlfriend or boyfriend or husband or wife...is it they think that nairalanders are low life people ??that was how some months ago I mentioned that Rita Dominic is a very good friend of mine, guess what??a guy replied me and said "if you are Rita domic very good friend you won't have time to be on Nairaland "I was shocked to hear that...how do some people reason??as in WTF!!!!! seriously that’s why I don’t comment on nairaland cause most nairaland members think that all members are low life people. |
