But don't forget, Umidigi A7 Pro, is launching soon with Android 10 out of the box..........

All this shout about android 10, make una calm down. Part of the reason umidigi is affordable is that they don't do updates to a higher android version.
You'll get security patches and incremental update fixes but no version update, it's been discussed here severally.
If you want android 10, u'll have to buy a model with android 10 out of the box, the a3 vs a3s and the a3 pro vs a3x comes to mind.

Then as someone rightly said, u could also try the custom ROM route.

But hey anything can happen, umidigi might just surprise us with an umiwonder..... Fingers crossed

Just wasted 510MB of data to update A5 Pro, yet it wasn't Android 10. The worst part of it, is that I downloaded the first one and it failed to install. Had to download a second time wasting over 1GB of data to end up with same Android 9. E no give me joy at all.

Thanks for all the above, I do appreciate the help.
I did a factory reset on the device but it did not solve the problem.
After some hours I decided to check if there is another update and fortunately I saw a new one which I downloaded and installed, it solved the problem.
