Kano is at par with populatuon and economc resources, but Lagos is light years ahead, so needless to do any comparison. Let's stick to Anambra. In 2014, 65% of students that sat for WAEC got 5 credits -including English and Math- that's about 34k students- this is a state with 4m folks while Kano with 10m folks, only 18k students got 5 credits including English and Math. It means tha Anamabra is sending more young folks to school than Kano. Mind you Kano spends 3 times more than Anambra. There are 10m kids in Naija not going to school- Kano accounts for a greater % of these kids. Kano sends more kids to Almajiri than it sends them to school! The implication is that these kids are likely to be Boko Haram recruits than someone who finished high school or university.. It's disngenious for educated folks like you to dismiss the economic and social conditions these kids. Aisha Buhari was talking about prostitution in SS but ignored child illiteracy and child marriage in the north. It's time we tell ourselves the truth that bigger population doesn't translate to bigger economy!
Well again..your analysis have to some extent have atoms of truth which I personally grew up seeing..however like I earlier said which I reiterate ,implementation is never effective as analysed. One thing is certain, the east is industrious much more than the north.reason is that customs and even religion defines extent and scope of what is industrious to a northern person or group of persons.

Secondly folks from kano do have extremely wealthy ppl whose kids despise education for some reasons such as lack of motivation from their rich parents, coz even they too made it without a formal education.so in some way parental pressure is seen altering the social conditions of these kids and to some extent the kinda environment this kids are brought up.You may disagree with me if you want too,but in kano dangote is just a kid in terms of wealth. He just became awake much more than the quiet billionaires resident in the state, and will still cower at them at every opportunity.

Thanks to the kind of governor they have, the educational life has taken an entire new scope.Dig in-depth into it,u will be marvelled at the new educational transformation going on in the state.

Lastly..your line of argument is well and insight. But why I criticize it on effectiveness is that for quiet a while, the govt policies, esp on education is just a ruse honestly. If you personally don't go down and see with ur eyes this things put together, the media and print paper will just put an opinion in your mind.
Nice write up.

Why has fuel queues in all fuel stations in FCT persistent for well over two months now.
Is this peculiar with Abuja alone, why?
I cannot post pictures now but this situation is gradually becoming a norm because one cannot drive into any station and buy fuel without queueing for hours huh
U must be used to it if its up to two months now! for me,its more tham that self.Anyways anytime ur opportuned to be close to a fuel dispenser, plz fill up your tank.depending on your movement and type of engine your car uses,it should take u to aleast friday/saturaday,then go to Fo oil that one by hilton and que up there on saturday.by the grace of the almighty u wnt spend up to an hour or two. smiley

Economy is more of game of numbers than politics in Naija.. When politickricians go to share their "kill" or " national cake, numbers don't count! But Almajiri is still faced with the economy of daily human needs. In 2014, Kano, with 10m folks budgeted about N230bn, Lagos with similar population budgeted N500bn while Anambra with 4m folks budgeted about N150bn. So Anambra had N37,500 to spend on each person while Kano had N23,000 to spend on each person. So it means that for every N100 Kano spends on each citizen,Anambra is spending N163 on each citizen. So who is going to be poorer or richer?
In between economy and politics chum..there is what is called "reality" which exist except if you are either ignorant of it (which of course it still does exist) or you may want to argue without a sense of justice. All these things you put down are facts disputed and ofcourse ineffective to some extent,in terms of practicability. The question is what is good about Anambra that is better than kano in contemporary time nigeria? Go and ask for the meaning of the slogan " kano ko da mai kazo an fika" then lets relate on an even ground, then from der u will know who will be poorer and who would be richer. wink

You must be a fool to write what you can't proof. I dont blame you, insolence is the tradition of some ill informed Nigerians, who spew out thrash with no evidence to back them up.I'll like to see how you'll insult GMB when he comes on board!
Dude..from the way u write..ur not just a love child but lovelessness runs innate in you.You are so stupiddd myopic and probably a mendicant and that is why you cannot really read behind the lines.if your here at this time and age asking me of a proof when it is apparent that GEJ stood clueless when this things were happening claiming ignorance and the blaming finger pointed at his cohorts..then there is a likely presumption that you are an Ediott,an infidel and a rejuvenated bigot..stuppidd love child..you are more foolishh than a cow.
A saying in maxim: qui facit per alium facit per se.. " he who does a thing tru another, does that thing himself"
Note: we are ready with a population to oust GMB just like GEJ and his cohorts (like ur shameless father orubebe) were shamelessly ousted outta office. am not one sided like you charlie.

After all elections, almajiri will go back to his street begging and waiting for govt handout or BH application, the man with one wife has a greater chance of training and sending his kids to school and lifting them from working class to upper class. Wake me up when that Almajiri becomes Sanusi unlike Soludo whose dad didn't even know LG HQ. The rich are getting richer while poor are having more babies thinking that strength is number. Italy with 60m population is richer than India with over 1bn population in norminal gdp
It is evident that the poor population brought out some millions in the three state aforementioned. They will keep having babies and winning by MERIT and not by ruse.as the kano st gov adumbrated, democracy is a game of numbers.Indigents are everywhere in the country chump..look and do justice to your reasoning process and don't conclude just coz one side is poor.

And this observation was made on a large number of men and women from all circles of life? If it was not, then it is useless.

My belief is, it stems from the society's perception of women and men. Women often shape themselves into the stereotypical African woman with wild emotions and dull intellect.
Ur belief..well i find it not in tune with the thread and practically useless as well.tho ur opinion is ur opinion.
Not all african women posses dull intellect tho, they have not just emancipated such human intellect to flow and capture reality and that is why they are being akin to being dull.
