Please guys help me rate this poem written by my brother. IN THE DARK. The world wonders why we choose to relax in the dark. Dark clouds have always been perfect for us. We have been fighting a lot of Battles on Steep hills, These battles have left US with scars. It's only in dark we bare it all,away from prying eyes of who we need no approval or pity. They often misunderstand us,that all we see is the darkness but they are blind to the truth that even in brightest of lights we still shine. We rise up with the sun and shine,putting on a facade till the darkness comes because we already know we shine so the darkness does not scare us, then we uncover and bare it all in safety. In that moment the moon and stars shine with us. Telling the tales by Moonlight as He goes Sleep. We always shine different, that's the reason the World hates us. Want to get to know us?? 3plechief:I get your point but get mine too.... even in Nigeria children are now taught same sex marriage just as they are taught polyandry, but they are also reminded that these forms of life styles are not accepted here in Nigeria. What that author of that text book did was generalize that is he is using is office to tell anybody who reads that textbook that the main purpose of the head is for carrying load. He is right and wrong at the same time. Right in that in some areas in Nigeria and the world that is true but wrong in that this is not a general thing. More reason he could have written something that is generally accepted worldwide while making reference to what is accepted in different areas and localities. |
