The Enugu Eke-Ogui Uno-Oma Eke road in Udi Local Government Area, nearing completion. He made it clear that he will be opening up rural areas sacrificed under chime to get the city in good shape. Enugu has a long development master plan that works irrespective of who is in office. The classy finishing of the roads is unique to gburugburu projects |

Not easy though, who wouldn't do anything to claim an ex president it never could produce Are you sure you witnessed obasanjo's presidency live? It was tantamount to igbo presidency by all standards Senate president CBN governor PDP national chairman INEC chairman Finance minister When last did yoruba smell any of these positions? Did yorubas even vote for him? |

Xander85: You’re right about the kind of governors voted into office in our states since 1999. But it’s a nationwide thing, and not just limited to the 5 south-east states.
However, i think the quality is generally improving with each subsequent election cycle; unless of course you’re talking of Abia...which has never had a half-decent governor, and Enugu...which seems to have taken one step backwards from the time of Chime! Cerebral analysis of the situation from informed person unlike these anambala bushmen. Enugu peaked under chime and set many unbeatable records till date. Debts were used and now being repaid. Ugwuanyi cannot be judged in isolation. Government is a continuum. Before others get to where we are we would have fully paid off our debts, take another loan and continue staying 100years ahead |

Politics › Re: The East Can’t Survive Without The North: What Do You Think by MXrep: 5:50pm On Apr 23, 2019 |
Decentupdate: Northern Nigeria
The north has been labeled as a place where insecurity is known for. First boko haram which have rendered a lot of people homeless.
The Fulani herdsmen has made sleep to elude people whenever they said think of going to the north or middle birth region. For instance Benue. Benue have been the food basket of nations but recently they now import foods to eat and live,in fact farming have drastically reduced there as a result of Fulani herdsmen attack.
Among the regions in Nigeria the level of illiteracy is high in north. This could be the reason why crime is been penetrated.
Eastern Nigeria
East was known to be peaceful, but things are no longer the same. The issue of herdsmen has gradually spread the whole south east. There is high cost of living in and illiteracy is high also. But this increase is what I don’t understand.
There have been speculations that if Nigeria should be divided that south east may not survive it. I think I concur with this from the recent happenings.
To be continue…….
https://www.decentupdate.com/2019/04/23/the-east-cant-survive-without-the-north-what-do-you-think-2/ High Cost of living is no issue. What matters is standard of living. The East has very high disposable income and fair distribution of wealth. Illiteracy is low in the east and decreasing every second |

isthatso: it's all the same thing if you think about it. it's the same character trait manifesting itself in different ways, Individuallly it's largely a positive trait as it drives them to succeed but when it comes to interacting with others (which is what politics is all about) it is largely negative. Yorubas have been in opposition since independence even under obasanjo regime. Many learned people have written about how bad yorubas are in national politics due to narrow minded intetest eg Sanusi and Paul unongo. Their only hope now is clinging on buhari tyrannical tendencies than seeking support of others especially other souutherners. Their hope is that the centre should be anti igbo so they can keep pushing their local champions as political gurus. But they forgot 1979. When buhari is out, yorubas will be politically hopeless. Let them continue inventing nrw narratives to suit themselves |

Yyeske: Your opinion wasn't asked for please, keep your beautiful and old news to yourself. Anybody who had traversed cities in the SE 10 years ago and did same yesterday wouldn't be saying that. Opinions need not be asked for. When you make nonsense claims it will be corrected. Awka may have improved marginally but it still remains a village and the worst state capital in Nigeria |
Politics › Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by MXrep: 5:11pm On Apr 23, 2019 |
marshman293: still,Awka is not listed among the top 10 beautiful cities in Nigeria. Only Enugu and Owerri made the list from the southeast Awka is a village. Organizing Christmas and easter show or building glorified beer palours won't change that. What is needed is state government investment and efficient management of public utilities and aesthetic upgrade. |

They recorded highest percentage growth and that is because their igr was abysmally poor in 2017 |

Intrepid01: Chief, stop typing your wishes as political arguments..what you have up there is a figment of your imagination. It is so funny how you people(Ibos) that despise APC tend to act like you know what is happening in APC more than the members itself.
Did you just say Peter Obi devoured Wike? ooh my God, I wish I could post a blow to your head right now. Wike that was begged to allow Peter Obi run as Atiku's mate... Just tell me one single fight that OUK has fought and one in all his political career, both locally and nationally. maybe when you are able to mention one i'll take you seriously. You are comparing a guy who couldn't win an election in his home state since he left govt until APC pitied him with a Guy who has tentacles spread far and wide the Country. Do you think those shouting Tinubu's name in Kano, Kaduna and even Bauch during the election weren't seeing his influence before shouting? OUK was and isn't even a factor in his constituency in Abia. I know you would like to have someone of Tinubu's political stature in the East but unfortunately there is none. You guys still have a lot to learn about the political dynamics of Nigeria ( even your politicians have come out to state that).
OUK is a nobody and he knows. the reason why you see him buying titles across the country to revive his dead political career. If Buhari's cabal wants to fight Tinubu, they know too well OUK is too small and irrelevant to fulfill that purpose. Not even anyone from SouthEast.
OUK would devour Tinubu this is the joke of the week aswear!!!...the boy that couldn't devour ordinary Theordore Orji
Oga stop dreaming and come back to planet earth and learn. You talk too much. Tinubu that was devoured by ekweremadu in the last NASS? Lol Now consider this Buhari's efcc resurrected ouk's case and buried it immediately after his defection Buhari personally turbaned ouk in katsina Buhari's inec declared ouk winner in an election that is inconclusive at best. See, Igbos can never wish to have someone like Tinubu. An overrated local champion. Talking about international link, it seems you don't know ouk very well and about popularity in the north, I laugh at your ignorance, you are talking about man that was made in Maiduguri. Awolowo was a god of yorubas yet a neophyte like ekwueme buried his ambition. On begging wike, I laugh at you. Why didn't wike refuse the "begging" if he thinks he stood any chance |
