Your advice is highly needed here. I use a vw Saharan 1.8T being 8 mths old now. I got to realized that car overheats which had just happened suddenly. All cooling areas are OK. The dip stick does not have water nor the oil cover. The pump does not sound funny also. Again, I tried to source for other areas, only to find out that the thermo temp sensor had worn out. My question is, is it only the sensor that will be changed? Meanwhile, thermostat had been removed before I bought the car

Saharan is more rugged and have a good fuel efficiency but spare parts are not as much as sienna. Same also affects the mechanics

I used to own an Opel zafira 2006 model. A very pleasant car to drive but the drought of parts could be hurting most especially body fittings. Why not get an older model and seek a good mechanic to advise you on the engine variant cos they come in different Shades. In all I had no regrets, it was a good car while it lasted.
