advocates: Thought provoking if you ask me. The op succinctly captured the over all political shallowness that besieged the entire igbo people. On the contrary, the youths rather than their leaders should be blamed for the inability to properly dissect, analyse and assimilate the day to day Nigeria politics.
Anything that suits their emotions and fantasy at the moment is always a welcome idea. And one begins to wonder why they never learn from history. Political history of the past always plays prank on the Igbo nation who from every indication lack political calculation on where to pitch their tent.
Hope they will learn, and I am concern if they can recover after the role of a misguided partisan mixed with tribal clannishness against the ruling party. This is food for thought. it's not abt igbos being clannish its abt illiteracy and sm1 being gullible, dont ne surprised if despite the fact that majority of igbos are presently against Buhari, b4 2019 they might become his biggest supporter supporting him even more than his northern brothers. I am an Igbo guy from Imo, before the election most of the pdp supporters presently most are in the Ipob, if u ask them why they are not supporting Buhari u wud hear, he wants to Islamize Nigeria.. am like what da fvck, Islamize Nigeria how?... so people can be dz gullible in the 21st century, but thank God all has past, politics is not a brother-brother thing is abt interest, if everybody starts doing politics based on tribalism, the North would rule forever. I like the yorubas to some extent sha, they have matured politically. |

nevilbot: i have done my research and can say yes he was arrested cus he was a politician during the era and almost all politicians were arrested by buhari on his coming to power. even northerners were not spared, all were arrested from east to west to north so it was not an anti igbo thing as u want us to believe.
secondly u want us to bliv he left him in jail until he was ousted by ibb but my google search says it was the same buhari that released him later unconditionallly as no skeleton was found in his cupboard after investigation. so a lil dose of google.com can help us all. thanks I ve done mine too I wud modify, but at least u know he was arrested. |

holaralph: Wowww these are absurd comments from some people anyway, I have 2 things to comment. 1. I have an igbo friend who happened to be my best friend he is from Anambra State Nnewi North to be precise, he told me this before He traveled to SA that when he was still working with an oil company in PH, though have forgotten the place he mentioned but he told me that they use to take boat before getting to the community where the Oil company is. He said the particular job he got was sold to him by one of the community guy that ought to have been the one working, He as well told me that the ppl in that area are extremely lazy bones that all they do is go around the company get employment and sell the space to other people and they will lavish the money on drinks and women yet they will be blaming the govt so am not surprise seeing this News. 2. I was watching World Igbo Day in Chicago, where His Excellency Nnamdi Kanu was addressing the Great audience that the igbos owns all SS, The Question is this why are my igbo Brothers and sisters denying their brothers that as wrecked havoc on that area ( stealing ) Here is the Question are you ( igbo) denying them now because they steal and try to rape their victim. But if it happened to be another news am sure you won't say they are not igbos that they are from SS not SE..... MY VIEW in ur stup1d mind u think u made sense, there is a difference between SS---igbo land and SE. We igbos never for once argued warri with anybody, the only place we consider is Asaba/ Anioma area. I noticed u stup1d yorubas foolishly brought igbos into it, fvck all of u. |

I wonder what shoprite was looking for in warri? a centre known for ethnic clashes, tribal wars, militancy and other criminal vices, even outside there states there boys and girls behave like touts then imagine how they would act in there states... let them keep it up sha, there only source of hope oil is loosing value, very soon they would start kidnapping themselves. |

explorer250: This might sound outrageous but it is the pratical truth. "you can never save everybody in life" the igbos will not save the ijaws without any collateral damage on the igbo race.
Some people are "DAMNED"(damnation/condemnation) as long as Nigeria is concerned. If igbos continue on the path of "justice 4 all" they will be condemned with these people. You cant always be the good boy. If igbos will submit themselves and be loyal just as the yorubas did to the lanlords of Nigeria(hausa/fulani) the igbo people will have no problem and our lost lands/glory will be restored. It is in the best interest of igbos to remain in nigeria and join in the pillage and rape of the minorities.
You cant save a man who do not want to be saved
you dont save a man that wants to drown Lest you drown with him
Good people dont last, only the wise/cruel does. Igbos cant continue to be the good guys. We got to submit to the trend of things cc eurobomber in Nigeria its every man for himself, that thing u want every other person wants it too. You guys dont seem to know whats happening but the Ijaws and there brother Jonathan who ruined Nigeria fir 5 years want to slowly shift away and abandon the so called stup1d and blind supporters of Jonathan, after them and there brother's hv finished destroying Nigeria, well let them keep dreaming. |

Politics › Re: 5 Reasons The SE Will Survive The Decline In Oil Price. by MyGeneration(m): 4:45pm On Jan 01, 2016 |
SouthEast would survive the oil decline, even if Nigeria like let poverty and the dollar fall to nothing it wont shake us. 1) Federal government doesn't have money it was and is not our business because the money was never benefitting us right from time. 2) If the lack of funds and hardship stifle development its not our business because our land is already underdeveloped and nobody cares we ve been carrying our crosses by ourselves with donations we provided electricity and fixed our roads to the little we can. 3) If the hardship makes civil servants not to receive salaries we pray they do but our people are already used to going 11 months without salaries yet we don't die courtesy Imo state govt. 4) Its state like Akwa ibom thats trying to raise sth for themselves and the people who know they receive amnesty money that have something to fear not people who stay under hot sun, travel far distances to hustle that have something to fear. I even love as this oil is becoming useless, very soon some states would begin to experience what we in the southeast have been suffering since after the war, yet anytime we complain they would say its B!afra or that we don't want Nigerias progress. |

Politics › Re: Few Pics From Imo State by MyGeneration(m): 11:51am On Dec 26, 2015 |
@ekafine if owerri deals in cheap sex, calabar deals in cheap slaves. All the house boys and girls our family had are calabar girls and they know there fellow slaves as they know there fellow slaves as its either gate man impregnated them or der fellow slave does it. Your girls dont offer cheap sex they beg u and hope to u do it free for even pure water coz naturally pvssy controls there sense of reasoning. If u live in a glass house never throw stones. |

Ur state is dead deal with it, no wonder all dz people from dead states want to die ontop Niger delta matter because they want to steal whats not there's. Go and develop ur dead state. If u dont know even in owerri its only the prettiest of ur girls dat come here why the ugly left overs stay back, when they come they start using igbo names like chidinma and d rest it's only as time go on that u find out they are from calabar what is driving them from there state, apart from Rivers state, no southsouth state should make any silly noise on the Internet. Now take the rope, go hang urself. |
Politics › Re: Few Pics From Imo State by MyGeneration(m): 11:20am On Dec 26, 2015 |
ekafine: This is what pisses me up about igbo people. U run a place down just to uplift your place. In which way has owerri surpassed Calabar. Calabar Is another level. Is it beauty, good roads etc. If u say that Owerri is the cheap se.x capital of Nigeria that would be understandable. Because all I saw in owerri aside bad and decaying infrastructures are battalions of women all over the town seeking for men. U dont call that tourism but disaster & chaos. I refused to share the pictures i took here knowing how some of u will misconstrue it but I will share it anyways if u keep attacking south south states.
Cc: HopeAtHand look at dz mumu calabar gal u re calling hopeathand an ikwerre man from ph to come and defend u. u want to turn it into southeast vs south south, calabar is a dead city, tourism zero, development dead, d moment unical closes everywhere bevomes a dead town, call even barcanista that wont change the fact that u are from a dead state. I am at owerri right now, Imo state. Apart from the area the rock view is located all other areas are flop. Roads are bad, all u see is Rochas pictures on every school, every road etc. The other local governments are worse my local govt at ehime apart from one small road that passes tru our junction nothing again. We ve been hearing Rochas school, Rochas hospitals, its not by building fine buildings thats not operational and its empty. Rochas, and all other past and future politicians, imo state is ur state if u think u can run from it by building houses in Abuja or Lagos or Abroad think again what is yours is yours. Even if u like buy heaven for the sultan of sokoto or stay in Lagos all ur life even if u like speak fluent yoruba or hausa dat won't change d fact that if u are and will always be from Imo. |
